Heavy winds hit the city of Austin hard along with the onslaught of heavy rain that Texas is currently facing. Damage done was critical. Some neighborhoods such as Northwest Hills and Mesa have faced a power outage. The last power outage lasted an hour.

Mixerr Album Reviews #1,370
This is Michael Mixerr. This morning I will review Jay-Z - 4:44!
Jay-Z drags to the death the overuse and usage of the word “nigga” all over the place making the track annoying and tiresome. Jay-Z could proved his point a lot better than he already did . There are all kinds of African Americans. Story of OJ is about the hardships of African Americans over the course in American history. Jay-Z covers grounds of racism on 4:44 as well.
The song 4:44 is about a coded timeline of the relationship between Jay-Z and his mother. 4:44 relates to the events they went through. Jay-Z was influenced by the sounds of Jazz when writing this song and the 4:44 album. Overall 4:44 is a fusion of Jazz and rap thus resulting in the sub-genre of Jazz Rap.
Moonlight samples The Dayton Family - Real With This and Whodini - Friends. Notice the trademark boombox. Caught Their Eyes pays ode and tribute to Prince for who Jay-Z befriended before his death.
The album is shit. Jay-Z can record an album better than this one such as Reasonable Doubt and Blueprint for instance. 4:44 is worse than the Magna Carta album. It seems that the 4:44 album was a cut and paste project.
I rate this album, 4:44, 0/5Ø.

This is Michael Mixerr. This morning I will review Ashley Ballard - Get in the Booth.
Dance With Me made an impact in the dance music scene by charting at #5 on the Billboard's Hot 100 Singles chart in 2001. In timespan range of one week, Dance With Me charted onto the Billboard Pop Hot 100 Singles chart. Pop meets dance music on Dance With Me. Ashley Ballard is a true natural when performing Dance With Me. Her natural talent shines on this song.
I’ll Be Waiting is a smooth mellow pop song that is accompanied with an acoustic guitar playing in the background while following the beat. The acoustic guitar follows the beat a slow steady pace. I'll Be Waiting is a “hold you in my heart” type of song.
Back in the early 2000’s, the song Forever was #1 on the Soundclick Charts. Yes Soundclick! Ashley shows off her light vocals on the song Forever. Of course Forever is a love song. It’s catchy with sweet vocals.
Love is Real is a simple uptempo love song. The odd sound effects are strangely great on this simple song. RnB meets pop on the song Love is Real. Very well done with great vocals and chorus.
Hi Low is similar to the likes of the song 5 x 5. However Hi Low is mid-tempo compared to the rest of the album. Clearly it’s another catchy pop song. Atlantic Records should have chosen Hi Low to be a single and not just the promoting song Hottie as a single for which it was.
Hypnotized has a pop flair and pop feel. High powered synths accompany the processed beats of this upbeat pop song. You can’t help but follow the direction the beats go in as the beats seem to all go in different directions. Hypnotized is both high powered and high spirited due to the pop flair.
Ashley Ballard hypnotizes us as the listeners to her commands on the first verse.:
Look into my eyes
You're feeling sleepy
When I click my fingers
You'll wake up and not remember a thing
You're hypnotized
O-oh
Everything feels like a dream to her, but it’s reality on the song All I Ever. The first verse is a prime example to back that sentence up. It's like a dream to her but it’s reality. Fantasy and reality meet each other on the pop song All I Ever.
The way you make me feel
It's like a dream to me
Almost a fantasy
But it's reality
It is clear to thus as the listeners that Ashley is in high spirits during the bridge of this song. She is feeling so alive and high in spirit. Ashley can't deny how she feels inside.
Read the lyrics of the bridge to this song below.:
You got me high
Feeling so alive
Everything about you
You know I like
The instrumentation arrangements for this album are laid out in a manner of perfection. The beats follow the rhythm and the high powered synths accompany the processed beats. There are no fillers. Ashley Ballard - Get in the Booth is a wonderful album for all to enjoy. Fans of pop music will appreciate listening to this album. She has that Southern California vibe in her.
It’s a shame Get in the Booth wasn't released publicly as a retail album. Atlantic Records was supposed to release her debut album in 2001 on CD. It's unfortunate that this album got shelved by Atlantic Records in the same year. Atlantic Records really dropped the ball when they failed to promote her career properly. They had lost a star with true talent.
I rate this album, Get in the Booth, 5/5*****!

Mixerr Album Reviews #1,368
This is Michael Mixerr. This afternoon I will review boysetsfire - In Chrysalis (1998).
The In Chrysalis album was released in 1998 as an EP. On this EP is where boysetsfire gets political. Political rock meets the sound of post-hardcore rock on this boysetsfire. The political mood comes from songs The Tyranny of What Everybody Knows, Cavity, and Holiday in Cambodia (Dead Kennedys cover). Boysetsfire gets political especially on songs such as The Tyranny of What Everybody Knows and Holiday in Cambodia (Dead Kennedys cover).
Holiday in Cambodia is a cover song of Dead Kennedys - Holiday in Cambodia. boysetsfire does a great performance of covering the Dead Kennedys song Holiday in Cambodia. The song itself kicks ass!
The Tyranny of What Everybody Knows has a theme of anarchy and tyranny hence the word tyranny in the song’s title. Total disorder and tyranny represent the song The Tyranny of What Everybody Knows. It’s a song of defiance and political opposition to the office of oppressors. Office of oppressors represents the leadership in this case. The song Tyranny of What Everybody Knows is similar to songs written and performed by Dead Kennedys.
I rate this EP, In Chrysalis (1998), 3/5***.

This is Michael Mixerr. I am reviewing Shelby Lynne – Love, Shelby (US Promo Edition).
The US promotional edition copy of the Love Shelby album includes 3 tracks that were not included on the retail release or standard releases. Those 3 tracks were Star Broker, Close To You, and Break Me Open. It was a moderate mistake for Island Def Jam Music Group and Mercury Records to not include those bonus tracks on the retail release. All Of A Sudden You Disappeared is another great song of hers that seems to have been forgotten and overshadowed by the rest of the album.
ISLF 15426-2 is the catalogue code for the US promotional advance edition of the Love Shelby album on CD format which is not to be confused with the Canadian promotional edition copy. The US promotional edition copy of the Love Shelby album was an advance edition.
I rate this album, Love, Shelby, 3/5***.

This is Michael Mixerr. I am reviewing tonight Kindred Idol – Conscious In The Mudvein.
The album Conscious In The Mudvein was dedicated to those who believed that the world is in total disorder and chaos. Kindred Idol wanted to make the world a better place for all with this album. They wanted more peace in other words. Despite that, the graphic design and artwork for this album does not look very peaceful. Artwork and graphic design resemble total disorder instead.
Conscious In The Mudvein is one of the many overlooked and overshadowed metal albums in music history. The album Conscious In The Mudvein has some awesome raw material. The lead singer growls into the microphone on many songs on this album. The slow churning guitar riffs performed give the album a grunge sound and edge. Sound gets very heavy as the album progresses. Kindred Idol will remind you of Def Leppard or Black Sabbath. I would suggest this album to anyone who likes metal.
I rate this album, Conscious In The Mudvein, 4/5****!

Death of former Willowbrook State School resident remains unsolved.
From a May 18, 1965 edition of Staten Island Advance, journalist Wittek wrote about the death of a child named John K. Taylor caused by an 18 year old female attendant at the Willowbrook State School. John K. Taylor was a resident of the former Willowbrook State School on Staten Island in New York City, New York at the time of his death.
It was on the date of Friday May 14, 1965 in the early darkened morning of 4 AM when 10 year old John K. Taylor died at Willowbrook State School. He was pronounced dead on the scene. He died as a result of neglect and lack of care by a female attendant at Willowbrook State School.
An 18 year old female attendant had given Willowbrook State School resident John K. Taylor a shower the day before which was earlier before his untimely death. What happened was the antiquated plumbing system at Willowbrook State School gave out and as a result, 10 year old resident John K. Taylor was burned to death from scalding hot water coming out of the shower head. As a result, water burned over 80% of his body. The burns on his body were not discovered until 5:45 PM of that particular evening. On the date of Friday May 14, 1965, John K. Taylor died as a result.
Willowbrook State School staff did not contact or notify New York City police until 1 PM on that Friday afternoon. The female attendant apparently didn’t realize John K. Taylor’s condition at first. But soon afterwards, the female attendant attempted to conceal his death from her superiors. Neither Willowbrook State School supervisors or the New York City police took disciplinary action against the 18 year old female attendant. She was never criminally charged either. She was not ever named in the news article Wittek wrote in the Friday May 18, 1965 edition of the Staten Island Advance newspaper.
The New York District Attorney’s office investigation later revealed, “The attendant was bathing the deceased and suddenly the plumbing gave out scalding the boy. The attendant apparently didn’t realize it at first and then attempted to conceal it from her superiors.” Neither the hospital nor the police would take any disciplinary action against her.” (Mallon & Moberley)
The antiquated plumbing system at Willowbrook State School can be attributed to its “snake pit conditions”. Former Senator Robert Kennedy toured Willowbrook State School in 1965 and called the institution itself a snake pit due to its inhumane conditions. Wards built at a capacity for 40 resident had 80 or more. Many resident at the time were living in filth which unfortunately was common in “state schools” across the United States.
Prior to his untimely death, John K. Taylor was a resident at Willowbrook State School. He was malnourished from lack of healthcare treatment and neglect during his stay residency there, so as a result he was underweight and below the average size for children his age. He only weighed 40 pounds (40 lbs). John K. Taylor was considered by medical terms of the time to be a “low functioning retardate”. He was considered a “retardate” in other words. Somehow he was capable enough to walk, but was unable to talk or feed himself. He could not fend for himself.
To this date as of August 2017, the 18 year old female attendant who was responsible for giving John K. Taylor has not been named and has never been charged for criminally for the death of John K. Taylor. The female attendant never has been held responsible for the death of John K. Taylor nor has she been held accountable for her actions when she worked as an attendant at Willowbrook State School.
*John K. Taylor was known by the names Little Johnny, Johnnie Taylor, Johnny Taylor, and Johnathan K. Taylor. At Willowbrook State School, he was known as Little Johnny.
*Willowbrook State School had an antiquated plumbing system that often gave out and burned many residents with scalding hot water.

EDM hashtag takes over twitter by storm.
It seems that the EDM hashtag used on twitter has taken over twitter by storm. The hashtag is used over 2,000 times a day on the Twitter website. 2 people use the EDM hashtag every minute or so it seems. EDM is currently being pushed by the artists inside the music industry of the United States and news press.
It seems that on twitter the electronic music sub-genre called EDM has gained a relatively large cult following in the underground music scene. EDM is the largest rising musical sub-genre in the 2010s era along with the trippy dubstep genre. EDM News is all over twitter and the internet world. EDM has taken over the nightlife club scenes unsurprisingly. EDM is ever so popular in the twittosphere world.

Mixerr Album Reviews #1,365
This is Michael Mixerr. Today I will review Various Artists - The Best of Ronnie Ron’s Gangsta-Lation that was on Ronnie Ron's Dangerous Records.
The Best of Ronnie Ron’s Gangsta-Lation double compilation album was released in 2000 on CD and cassette from Dangerous Records. You will hear the urban sounds of Hip Hop/Rap, R&B/Soul, Jazz, Reggae, Dance, and Funk on this double compilation album. The experience is bittersweet yet joyful.
B Brazy starts off The Best of Ronnie Ron’s Gangsta-Lation with the song Payback. Now the song Payback was inspired by James Brown - Payback. Payback was a B Brazy lyrical rap freestyle heavy inspired by the sound of James Brown. Ronnie Ron and Leroy Dukes produced Payback. B Brazy vents out his anger against the music industry on Payback.
B Brazy is demanding that these record companies better give him something. The action crew is back! (The action crew being Dangerous Records crew.) B Brazy raps about how the music business is no joke. They only give their artists enough to barely survive on. The music business is a cutthroat business.
Now B Brazy wonders whether or not he should do (perform) a jack move or should he sell rocks (cocaine) to the Japs. You know he did rapping and scrapping in his career. He does not dig no back stabbing. The music business is like a dice game. It’s win, lose, or draw. B Brazy continues to vent out his anger against the music industry. He makes crucial remarks against the music business. B Brazy has seen and met artists who have made a top selling hit and they don’t have shit. They absolutely do not have shit. The labels do not pay them. It’s not anything funny walking around being broke.
Buck Em Down is a track in-house production team Geek & Noise produced and rapped. The song Buck Em Down is about criminal activity and social injustice. Geek and Noise used the sample Johnnie Taylor - Disco Lady throughout the entire song. Buck Em Down has that early 90s hip hop/rap sound. The same sample is used on Kill Crabs 4 Fun on Blood Mary’s Day of Resurrection album from 2003. Buck Em Down features Sin Loc.
Send Geek to Folsom, Chino, Soledad, or Pelican Bay, he’ll kill another punk when gets he out of jail. Jail does not faze him. Gangsters raised him to be a soldier on this concrete battlefield. Geek earns stripes for those he kills. Now they wanna call it a truce. But what’s the use when he is still packing heat? So don’t send Geek to Folsom, Chino, Soledad, or Pelican Bay.
Now check out the criminal who’s never been a convict. That’s DJ Noise. The law enforcement catches cases but the cases never stick to Noise. The district attorneys (DAs) reject the cases and so the judges. Every time a 187 (California criminal code for homicide killing) jumps off, Geek and Noise become #1 suspects. Geek is the gangsta with stripes who kills at night. Noise is the out the criminal who’s never been a convict. He is a crafty criminal. There is no stopping Noise or Geek.
A minute and a half (1:30) into the track is when Hit Man D gets his verse. Sin Loc makes the track worthwhile listening to and a classic. Every track Sin Loc is on suddenly is a classic.
Hit Man D hates to gun a motherfucker down, but when push comes to shoves, he’ll gun that motherfucker down. Sin hates being rejected and disrespected. He wants to be respected. He ll gun down motherfuckers down that disrespect him.
Sin Loc gives his audience an English class lesson on grammar more than halfway into the track. This is where Hit Man D (Sin Loc) makes Buck Em Down a classic. Listen closely to the lyrics and you will find educational words that are structure of the English language. Terms “verb”, “adjective”, and “noun” are words used to define grammar inside structure of the English language. The Sin Loc verse “Like the time I had to shoot this motherfucker dead in his face” made Buck Em Down a classic to enjoy.
Listen closely to the lyrics listed inside these verses below.:
I take action like a verb and fire like an adjective
To put a noun in its place
Like the time I had to shoot this motherfucker dead in his face
For trying to front me in front of a few bitches
I let that shit slide
An adjective is a word or phrase naming an attribute. Adjectives can be modified in order to describe someone or something. An adjective is grammatically related to a noun or pronoun. An adjective is added to or grammatically related to a noun to modify or describe it.
Nouns is used to describe or identify a person, place, or thing. Nouns can be used to describe people, places, or things.
Verb is a word used to describe an action, state, or occurrence, forming the main part of the predicate of a sentence. Verb is a predicate of a sentence in other words.
Bitch Get Lifted is a B Brazy/Bloody Mary duo cut although B Brazy performs most of the rapping donning the track into a B Brazy solo. Some B Brazy fans and Bangin’ On Wax fans regard Bitch Get Lifted as a B Brazy solo track. B Brazy is all over the place here. Bitch Get Lifted would later appear on Bloody Mary - Day of Resurrection in 2003.
A funky James Brown sampled is looped all over Bitch Get Lifted. The track Bitch Get Lifted seems to be overall James Brown inspired. Ronnie Ron must have been inspired by the funky sounds of James Brown when he produced this track in 1997. Bitch Get Lifted is a perfect song to listen to with the bass boosted.
Bullets Don't Have No Names is listed but does not appear on the cassette version for some reason despite being included on the tracklist. Bullets Don't Have No Names is a CD-only track. This version of Bullets Don't Have No Names was the video version (Quiet Storm Mix). The Quiet Storm Mix of Bullets Don't Have No Names has some Reggae sound in it. It was not the radio version that is the regular version fans and the public associate the song with.
Jon Jon and The Originals performed on the song Bullets Don’t Have No Names which was released as a single in 1997. The Bullets Don’t Have No Names single was included with the 1997 documentary Bullets Don’t Have No Names on VHS and DVD.
A Lil Something From Da West Side was a leftover track that was supposed to be included on the Lil Hawk Red Riding Hood album that was supposed to be released in 1997, but never was released due to Lil Hawk’s incarceration over a murder he supposedly committed. (Which he did not.) Lil Hawk is currently serving a 25 to life sentence in the penitentiary in California.
Lil Something From Da West Side was a Damu Ridas posse cut that served as a freestyle rap track. Lil Hawk, Lil Ms. China (Ms. China also known as Ms. Chyna), Pimp (then known as YG Pimp D), and Tip Toe each had a verse. The track Lil Something From Da West Side proved to the world and fans that Pimp D WAS NOT Tip Toe.
My Mama Named Me Batman on the cassette version of Ronnie Ron’s Gangsta-Lation has D-Rock shouting out "Yeah! We're aware of the time!" was about peace and unity. Songs My Mama Named Me Batman by D-Rock & The Bayou Crew (Get Some Of This Funk) and Get Some Of This Funk (My Mama Named Me Batman) (Remix) have the same intro, but it has live outside sound.
Their songs My Mama Named Me Batman (Get Some Of This Funk) and Get Some Of This Funk (My Mama Named Me Batman) (Remix) had music videos that aired on The BOX on MTV. Although both music videos had not received high viewership in numbers, D-Rock & The Bayou Crew had fun making the songs and music videos. Both songs and the music videos have a live outside feel to them.
On the cassette version of Ronnie Ron’s Gangsta-Lation, I’m Calling You A Bitch gets cut off half way through the song at 2:04 and fades into silence for 4:02 minutes in an effort to preserve continuity. I’m Calling You A Bitch is from Tweedy Bird Loc - No Holds Barred album from 1994. The track is a Tweedy Bird Loc/Fo Clips duo cut.
To My Niggas Makin' Low Cheddar was a leftover from Fo Clips album. To My Niggas Makin' Low Cheddar was supposed to appear on Fo Clips second album, but due to his untimely death, only one song was recorded of his planned second album called To My Niggas Makin' Low Cheddar. To My Niggas Makin' Low Cheddar featured an artist named Coop.
All My Niggas is another leftover track that was supposed to be included on the album Damu Ridas. All My Niggas was a Damu Ridas posse cut that served as a freestyle rap track. Lil Hawk, Tip Toe, Spyder (G Spyder), and B Brazy each spit a verse on All My Niggas.
No More Mr. Nice Guy was a leftover from Nini X's album. No More Mr. Nice Guy was a Dangerous posse cut that featured Lil Stretch, Sin Loc, Big Wy, Redrum781, CK, and Blue Rag. No More Mr. Nice Guy was a leftover that was supposed to appear on Bloody Mary’s debut album She’s Dangerous in 1994, but never did.
Hittin’ Switches is a Geek & Noise track that is Zapp inspired hence the More Bounce to the Ounce sample. Perfect for the car freaks and car hoppers. Most of their tracks are Zapp inspired hence the usage of samples from Zapp songs. Trickeration is a track Geek and Noise produced and rapped on. The same sample is heard on the track Put Dat On Da B from Bloody Mary - Day of Resurrection in 2003.
The Game of Mack N was a track from in-house production team Geek & Noise. They both produced and rapped. It’s a rap about having the freshest cloths and freshest hoes. Mainly living the fast life. Kev-Vo is the man singing on the soulful chorus.
•Geek & Noise (Captain Geek & DJ Noise) were in-house producers for Dangerous Records from 1990 to 1997. They were also rappers that did not make the Bangin' On Wax cut during the auditions in 1992. Tracks are Trickeration, The Game of Mack'N, Hittin' Switches, Buck 'Em Down, Do Your Thing, Got Dam They Ruthless, and Gangsta Style Rappin' were supposed to be for their debut album, but that didn't happen due to financial reasons, contract disputes, and business issues with Dangerous Records. I rate this album, Gangsta-Lation, 5/5*****!!
Mixerr Album Reviews #1,364
This is Michael Mixerr. Today I will review G-Len - Woop Woop.
G-Len (Len Smallwood) released his first and debut album on The Family Records from New York City, New York, and Dangerous Records in 1995 on CD and cassette. G-Len produced most this album himself. Ronnie Ron was instrumental in producing this album and getting him a small regional/nationwide distribution deal for his debut album. Ronnie Ron for the most part was not as “hands on” for this Dangerous Records album as he focused more on Tweedy Bird Loc, Jon Jon, Lil Hawk, B Brazy, Damu Ridas at the time.
Despite regional/nationwide distribution, Woop Woop more than less stayed in circulation as a hood classic in the Los Angeles area and Inglewood area. His album never really left beyond that area despite being a high demand album in the international market of music in countries such as Japan, Finland, Sweden, Algeria, Taiwan, Belgium, or Germany. His debut album goes for more than hundreds of dollars (> than $100).
Woop Woop is gangsta rap at its finest. It you are looking for tight beats over gangsta lyrics with a funky rhythm, then G-Len -Woop Woop is perfect for you. The beats themselves are funky. Gangsta rap fans will enjoy this album. Woop Woop has that Dangerous Records production sound since G-Len and Ronnie Ron produced most of this album. The production and sound is what made this particular album a hood classic in other words. Kenny McCloud served as the engineer for this album. Rodney Taylor was responsible for all those funky saxophone riffs you hear on this album.
G-Len is not dead for those who keep thinking so. He is alive and well. He still does music to this day. G-Len can be found on YouTube, instagram, and CD Baby. A string of mixtapes came from him in 2017 which were released online to CDBaby and can be purchased there. The Woop Woop album can be purchased online at CDBaby.
Woop Woop is the Blood gang posse cut that defined this album and made it an LA hood classic in the year of 1995. G-Len, Mr. Dulo, June Dawg, and B Brazy each have a verse. Woop Woop was a term popularized by the Denver Lane Bloods and Figueroa Blood Gang. Bloods started the term “Woop Woop” which eventually became “Suwoop” in the 2000s. The song Woop Woop played a big part in music whether people are willing to admit that or not. Woop Woop was the LA anthem of 1995. G-Len produced Woop Woop.
A funky bounce beat is used to accompany the song Woop Woop. Samples used are George Clinton - Atomic Dog and Zapp - More Bounce To The Ounce. Although Woop Woop tends to sample Atomic Dog by George Clinton more rather than sampling More Bounce To The Ounce by Zapp. The beat sampled is More Bounce To The Ounce by Zapp which is sped up to an upbeat pace. Apart from the beats, the flow was just sick!
G-Len comes back in yo ass with some gangsta shit on Woopin. The beats and flow was just sick. The production is low budget and so is the sound which is why the volume along with treble have been reduced. The beat sampled is More Bounce To The Ounce by Zapp which is slowed down to much delayed pace. (Not to mention Woopin was made back in the mid 90s.)
Woopin is underground rap at its finest. Woopin is can be motorized as an example of gangsta rap from the 90s. Woop Woop and this song are one of the best songs on the album. G-Len never hesitates to come out with that real gangsta shit. Especially on Woopin!
G-Len is an example of gangsta rap. Peep the first verses below.:
back up in yo ass with that gangsta shit
Westside
Woop Wooop
is my gangsta clique
I’m not jaggin,
just flagin saggin in my 66 rah with my 44 mag foo'!
For The Money is a sex, drugs, and money type of rap song. The song itself is centered around greed. Greed and capitalism are the themes. Greed is what exactly leads to downfall at the end of this song. The song ends up with 5 people dead due to a quintuple murder. G-Len seemed to have been inspired by Bone Thugs N Harmony when he wrote For The Money. For The Money is a classic example of gangsta rap. G-Len pays tribute to Laniak all over the track.
The saxophone riffs will send chills in your bones. The saxophone accompanying the beat is simply fantastic! It was a fantastic idea for both G-Len and Ronnie Ron to include the saxophone accompanying a beat. The saxophone accompanies the beat perfectly.
G-Len takes us back in time to tell us a story about an OG homie of his. His OG homie was brought up and caught up in a world of crime. It was inevitable that he would got caught up in a world of crime. His OG homie was Shane LeRoy Wheeler aka Laniak. He wanted to be a big time drug dealer that specifically sold cocaine.
Back in 1981, they used to sock out and knock out fools. They would roll to the beach in Santa Monica and drop out fools. They were crazy (looney). G-Len was puny and about tall as Mickey Rooney. But he was down to jack and had his homie's back. They used to kick it. Him, Krickit, P-Bo, Laniak and Dre Bang. They would high and faded off of cognac.
The group would Figueroa Street to Athens Park to go swimming. Parties were thrown at P-Bo’s house chasin' all the women. Big AK was having lots of fun but he didn't have a thing to his name. So he started selling marijuana with G-Len’s OG homie Bang, Big AK got tired of doing capers. Big AK wanted paper. (He wanted money.) It was for the money.
He wanted more money. So him and Bang went separate ways. Big AK had to get the sack from Mickey D’s. Now he is selling crack cocoon. He is always watching his back and always packing a gat (gun).
He is now parked inside a 1966 rag Chevrolet going front, back, and side to side. Around his fist is his flag with gold Dayton rim’s on his ride. He's got the high pro blow. He's got the baseheads cashing big checks at the bank. He's got it going living like Frank Nitty. Big AK was a hustling maniac.
Laniak wanted paper while coming up in the city. He was a hustling maniac. It really doesn't matter one way or not how he gets his money exactly. Both him and Big AK are hustling maniacs. Fools catch straight vapors. It really doesn't matter. He's climbing up the ladder and his pockets getting fatter in juicy cash flow. Laniak is working hour after hour selling cocaine.
He had a little power until the shit went sour. This is the turning point in track where things go south. Went half on a bird with someone that was phony. That day Laniak had the homegirls over Koko and Mo. The homie Krickit came fresh off work came to relax, kick back, puffing on indo.
The dope man came with the sack. So did Big AK. Now they waiting on fools, sitting around looking silly. Because instead of $9,000 fool brought a nine millimeter handgun and his brother along with him. Another nigga helped him pull the trigger. He played it cool. Then the fool started shooting. Five people got caught up in the mix. No chance for survival.
The execution style killing of the 5 people made it to the news which was broadcasted on television.
“(Reporter #1)
The mother of one of the young victims all said to be between the ages of 19 and 24 was consoled by friends as she left the area. Other neighbors cried when they learned of the murders.
(Reporter #2)
Drugs were linked to the shooting deaths of five people in a Southern California apartment.
(Reporter #3)
All shot execution-style in the head.”
For those who did not know or are not currently away behind the backstory for the song, For The Money is based on a true life event about a quintuple murder in Inglewood, California on the date of June 15, 1992.
A quintuple murder occurred during a drug transaction on 3600 block of West 109th Street in Inglewood, California. The quintuple murder occurred due to a drug deal gone bad. Laniak invited local drug dealer Pedro Angel Lopez into Nicole Thrower’s house to purchase 2 kilograms of cocaine. The drug transaction went bad. So in the end, 5 people got killed. The victims were 3 men and 2 women that were found lying dead in an apartment in the 3600 block of West 109th Street around 3 PM. All 5 people were killed execution style in the head. A "substantial" amount of cocaine was found in the apartment. It was a robbery gone bad.
Inglewood police detective Russ Enyeart believed that brothers Victor Herd (b. Nov 11, 1960 – ) and Purvis Herd (b. Apr 3, 1966 – ) were the shooters but as yet, they have yet to be charged. Both brothers have never been charged with the murder crime. There have been no leads as to who else was associated with this criminal act or crime committed.
From a June 16, 1992 edition of the LA Times newspaper is a news article with headlines “Crime: Neighbors report hearing bursts of gunfire. Police find the bodies of three men and two women.” claims this drug related killing to be “the worst homicide in the city's history”. Laniak and the other 4 people were mentioned in that news article.
G-Len made a tribute to Big Laniak in the song For The Money. G-Len made tribute to those who were killed in the song For The Money as well. The people G-Len is making references to are the following: Nicole Elizabeth Thrower (Koko), Jimmy Lee Lewis (Kricket), Shane Wheeler (Laniak 1), Molynthia Smith (Mo), and Pedro Angel Lopez.
*Nicole Elizabeth Thrower (Koko) was 17 when she was killed during the deadly drug transaction occurring at the time. She was the youngest among the people who were murdered. Nicole “Koko” Elizabeth Thrower lived from January 29, 1975 – June 15, 1992.
*Jimmy Lee Lewis (Kricket) was 24 when he was murdered in the drug transaction. He was killed in the same block of West 109th Street along with others. Jimmy “Kricket” Lee Lewis lived from March 25, 1968 – June 15, 1992.
*Shane LeRoy Wheeler (Laniak 1) was 23 when he was killed in the drug transaction. Shane “Laniak 1” Wheeler aka “Big Laniak” lived from July 26, 1968 – June 15, 1992. He was set up and killed. He is the older brother of Laniak II (Lil Laniak 2) who died on October 23, 1995 after being killed by Campanella Park Pirus. Shane LeRoy Wheeler went under the names Laniak, Laniak 1, and Big Laniak. He was most commonly known for his name Laniak.
*Molynthia Smith (Mo) was among the 2 females that were murdered during the quintuple murder in Inglewood, California during the same drug transaction. Her age was 19. She lived from April 25, 1973 – June 15, 1992.
*Pedro Angel Lopez was an Inglewood drug dealer. He was a drug dealer who had a large supply of cocaine and sold cocaine in both Inglewood and Los Angeles. He was 22 when he got killed. Pedro Angel Lopez was set up by other drug dealers.
G-Len pays tribute and homage to famous black heroes on Fallin’ Hero. For instance Michael Jackson, Mike Tyson, OJ Simpson, Magic Johnson, Mark Morrison, Rick James, Oprah, and Montell Williams just to name a few. G-Len pays tribute to famous black heroes that dubbed as fallen heroes. The track itself has a negative vibe to it. Fallin’ Hero has a dope sample by Earth Wind & Fire.
The media can make you or break you by taking you up to the top and then snatch your ass right back down to the ground. If you are black, the media will snatch your ass even furthermore. G-Len expresses distrust against the justice system as he does not trust the system.
Pass Da Blunt seemed to have been inspired by Rick James, weed, and hip hop music. Many samples are incorporated into Pass Da Blunt making the song Pass Da Blunt an Inglewood style Jackin’ 4 Beats. The sample used in the background throughout Pass Da Blunt is Rick James - Bustin Out. The whole song seems to have been inspired by Rick James - Bustin Out henceforth the used sample. The hardest nigga with a Jerri kurl called B Brazy is on Pass Da Blunt. Pass Da Blunt showcases the best of G-Len and B Brazy.
G-Funk has a such a sick beat over pure dopeness. Overall G-Funk is a brehsive track. The beat is a sick beat. G-Funk is G-Funk inspired and is inspired by gangsta rap hence the title for this track.
The only problem with this album is the number of interludes included inside of this album. 3 interludes are plenty. 5 interludes are way too much as the interludes distract the listener away from the musical content on this album. That is why 5 interludes is way too redundant. That is the only flaw within this album by G-Len. 3 interludes would have been plenty. The production was low budget, but that does not prevent the Woop Woop album from being a hood classic.
Woop Woop is one of the many best albums from inside the golden era of G-Funk. Apart from the beats, the flows were just sick! There were no gimmicks within this album. G-Len and his homies expressed themselves by showing the world the crazy lifestyle they had/have been living. Shit was real. No acting or none of that fakeness you see or hear about today. Big corporate radio fans, TV fans, and mainstream fans will not like, value, or understand this album.
I rate this album, Woop Woop, 4/5****!

Behind the album cover artworks of Lil Band O Gold.
When you look at the album cover artwork of The Promiseland album or the Plays Fats tribute album by Lil Band O Gold, you automatically think of the vaudeville posters of the Victorian era and the Edwardian era with the boisterous bold font of capital letters all in your face directly at you! The large boisterous bold letters give out that antiquated feel and charm along with the opaque colors. This album cover artwork will take you on a journey backwards in time to the Victorian era. Notice how the color scheme is very antiquated with such monotone colors. To sum it all up, think about the vaudeville posters from the Victorian era and Edwardian era.

Behind the life about Damion The Demon Seed aka Damon The Demon Seed.
Damion Brown was born to Brenda Doxie, a single mother to 3 children. Damion was always good at art. He learned how to become an artist at Arthur Hill High School in Chris Redburn's art class as a teenager. He wanted to become a graphics design artist for a career later on in life. Damion The Demon Seed was a rapper, producer, and graphics design artist from Saginaw, Michigan.
Later on in life during the 1990s, Damion The Demon Seed teamed up with Mack Tha Jack, Dirty Jerk, Mexican Mike, and Bone Skanless to formulate the Skanless Family. Damion became an underground artist in his own right and ability. Damion The Demon Seed (Damion Brown) was a part of the Skanless Family along with Bone Skanless, Mack Tha Jacka, Dirty Jerk, Mexican Mike, and Nalda at that time. Damion joined the Skanless Family because his father didn't like him. He made his shrink go crazy too.
In 1993, he released his self-titled album on cassette only in the Saginaw Valley area. Although he didn’t get much credit or recognition in the music industry for his work, he still made a name for himself in the underground music scene. Many knew on his whereabouts and efforts there.
The legend of the Damon The Demon Seed cassette tape/reel to reel is when 2Pac came to Flint with MC Breed in 1993, he bought the master copy off of Damion and then released his own song "Dear Mama" which of course became a national hit. Tupac didn't give Damion credit for the song. Damion's investor sold the master tape of Dear Momma to 2Pac behind his back. Damion and 2Pac got into a fight backstage during a concert in 1993. So they cut ties.
Damion The Demon Seed used to do artwork designs for Esham's albums from 1994 to 1999. Damion had worked with Gothom Inc and Overcore at that time. After 2000 Damon just disappeared from music and artistry. Since 2001 nothing has been heard about him. Apparently Damion does art from time to time as a design artist. In 2014, he attended and took classes at Saginaw Valley College. Since then nothing been heard about him.
Other than that, Damion The Demon Seed had a couple of albums that were released on cassettes in the Saginaw Valley area. Most of them were pretty shortened though. Damion The Demon Seed is Saginaw's most underrated solo artist along with Dirty Jerk, Mack Tha Jacka, Astray, Dangerous D, Trigga Tre, Madam Dane, Nalda, and too many others to name.
*Damion The Demon Seed is often referred to as Damion The Demon Seed or Damon The Demon Seed. Damon describes himself as an evil person. A demon seed is the spawn of the devil. A demon seed is the spawn of all evil. The child of a demon is known as a demon. Latin term for 'demon seed' is 'seedus demonus'. Think of a child that's conceived through unwanted intercourse resulting in an unplanned pregnancy. An unwanted child rather to be exact.

History about the Austin Mobile Hills neighborhood forgotten.
Austin Mobile Hills was the name of a trailer park that operated from 1972 to 2008. Austin Mobile Hills operated at the location of 5101 Johnny Morris Road, Austin, Texas, US 78724. Austin Mobile Hills was also known as Austin Pecan Trailer Park before moving down south to Del Valle, Texas.
The land where Austin Pecan Trailer Park property was once located was once a dairy farm. In 1971, land was sold for the Austin Pecan Trailer Park to begin allowing home owners who had trailers to move in. 1972 is when the reception office was built as a single story unit with 5 single rooms with a reception desk, a supply closet for maintenance supplies, storage a supply closet for maintenance storage, and a garage. Years of operation for the Austin Pecan Trailer Park were from 1972 to 2008. Low class people lived here. It was a rough area.
Now the Austin Pecan Trailer Park was located inside a 25 year floodplain. It would flood there every 2 years. Trailers would be wiped out clean as a result from constant flooding. Mold grow inside these trailers after flooding happened. Vegetation surrounding the property made it difficult to retrieve personal belongings.

As a result of constant flooding with the trailer park being located in a flood plain, in 2001, City of Austin bought out the land property where trailers once resided. City of Austin developed a flood buyout plan It took a total of 4 years from 2001 to 2005 for the City of Austin to buy out all the homeowners land plots for which their trailers were located on. By 2008, all of the former Austin Pecan Trailer Park property was abandoned.
Over the past 10 years, the former Austin Pecan Trailer Park property for illegal dumping where citizens from Austin and Travis County would dump their unwanted items, trash, debris, auto parts, plywood, sheet metal, beer cans, and clothing. The City of Austin got contractors to haul in large rectangular limestone bricks to prevent access for illegal dumping.
To this day, only a building for the reception office, roof provision for where mailboxes were, and a shed for maintenance storage remain. The building for the reception office was still remains extant and a shed for maintenance storage remains extant. Trailers are no longer extant.
*The Austin Pecan Trailer Park was located at 5101 Johnny Morris Road, Austin, Texas, US 78724 & 5105 Johnny Morris Road, Austin, Texas, US 78724.

City of Lago Vista plans to keep historic school building.
City of Lago Vista is currently working on plans to preserve the Cox Springs School building in a better more efficient manner. North Shore Heritage & Cultural Society and former students are working with the City of Lago Vista, City of Jonestown, and Travis County Historical Commission to move the school building onto a permanent location into the city of Lago Vista, Texas.
North Shore Heritage & Cultural Society wants to save this building in an attempt of historic preservation so students of today can see how students who lived in Lago Vista and Jonestown during the early 20th century received their education. Both commissions plan to keep the old school in tact. North Shore Heritage & Cultural Society and former students are working to restore the former school building.
Both the City of Lago Vista and City of Jonestown consider Cox Springs School to be a historical building despite no Texas Historic Landmark marker. Although there is no Texas Historic Landmark marker, a brown metal sign about the school’s history is located behind the school building facing Old Burnet Road. Cox Springs School is one of the oldest buildings in Lago Vista next to the Lago Vista School which is commonly known as “the little red schoolhouse” to local citizens and historians.
Cox Springs School was built in 1908 as a one-room building for Lago Vista Common School District No. 2 better known as Lago Vista Common School District. Cox Springs School was known as Cox Springs School House when the school district first opened this school. Grades 1 through 11 attended this school with Grade 12 eventually being included. Cox Springs School had its own school district called Cox Springs School District (District #2) from 1908 to 1950 before being consolidated into Lago Vista Independent School District.
Originally the Cox Springs School was located closely near the intersection of Lohman Ford Road & Sylvester Ford Road in Lago Vista, Texas from 1908 to 1940. In 1940, the school relocated to Old Burnet Road in Jonestown, Texas in a modern day neighborhood called The Bluffs. Although the Cox Springs School is considered to be in Lago Vista, Texas, the actual location the school building is currently located at is 18842 Old Burnet Road, Jonestown, Texas, US 78645. The alternate address is 18842 Old Burnet Road, Leander, Texas, US 78645.
In 1940, the Cox Springs School building was moved from the intersection of Lohman Ford Road & Sylvester Ford Road in Lago Vista, Texas to Old Burnet Road in Jonestown, Texas. Grade 12 was added in 1949 due to Gilmer-Aiken Law mandated by the State of Texas. More funds went towards the school district that following year. 1950 is when Cox Springs School District was abolished and consolidated into Lago Vista Independent School District (Lago Vista ISD).
In 1960, the last group of students from grades 1st through 12th were moved to Lago Vista School which was known then to Lago Vista citizens and locals as the “the little red schoolhouse” on 7610 Lohman Ford Road. Lago Vista School was a K-12 school then.

Female attendant responsible for death of New York resident John K. Taylor never held responsible.

Mixerr Album Reviews #1,363
This is Michael Mixerr. Today I will do a review on the Gangsta Nutt – The Lost Hard Drive EP.
Exactly The Lost Hard Drive EP is 3 songs that were recovered and not remastered from the hard drive of Gangsta Nutt. The hard drive Gangsta Nutt used to record his last had album crashed and was years later saved. However only 3 songs survived the hard drive crash. These 3 songs were recorded in the raw dirty, gritty streets of Seattle, Washington by way of Tacoma, Washington. The Lost Hard Drive EP is something new for 2017! This is Gangsta Nutt’s unmastered masterpiece showcasing talent of his than no one has ever heard before or seen before.
Gangsta Nutt gets raw and real on Keep Your Head Up. Gangsta Nutt gets real deep here. Dundeal Entertainment's R&B sensation J-Shep lends his vocals for the catchy hook on Keep Your Head Up for which he is responsible for. J-Shep is responsible for the verse ”All you gotta do is pray." . Producer Macc Dundee reminds us about West Coast legends and pays homage and tribute to the best from the Northwest and beyond. Keep Your Head Up is a perfect inspirational song.
Gangsta Nutt gets raw and real deep on Testimony. Testimony is one of his most realist songs to date. In fact, Testimony is one of his most deepest emotional songs to date. He gets emotional on Testimony. Gangsta Nutt is Seattle's beast on the mic! He delivered such powerhouse range and skill as always. Testimony was the final song which was recorded at the Dundeal Entertainment studio.
I rate this EP, The Lost Hard Drive EP, 5/5*****!!

Mixerr Album Reviews #1,362
This is Michael Mixerr. I will review Kaskade - Strobelite Seduction.
Kaskade from Utah released a deep house styled album in 2008. The house music for this album is deep house. Strobelite Seduction can be considered as a deep house album and a dance music album due to its upbeat vibrance, yes. Its upbeat vibrance makes Strobelite Seduction sound similar to dance music album at times with certain songs such as Step one two, Pose, Move for Me, Back on You, Pose, Borrowed Theme, One Heart, and Angel on My Shoulder.
Move for Me with Deadmau5 is a highly vibrant deep house styled song perfect for the dance floor. The beats are vibrant as well. Electronic production inside Move for Me does shimmer but not with distortion. For some reason, Move for Me has a soulful sound. The song is of decent caliber. It’s another night out on the dance floor for both Kaskade and Deadmau5.
Angel on My Shoulder is where things start to pick up on this album. The volume is suddenly set to higher level without warning. Angel on my shoulder is another highly vibrant deep house styled song perfect for the dance floor. The female vocals on Angel on my shoulder both angelic and breathtaking. Angel on my shoulder is a breath of fresh air from the shitty EDM music of today. House music fans will appreciate this deep house styled song.
Back on You samples the soulful song I’ll Be Around in a deep house styled manner with fresh updated electronic production found inside house music. The song shimmers with 8-bit distortion in some parts of the song similar to Step one two. Overall, Back on you partially relies on 8-bit distortion sound.
Step one two is a perfect dance song whether you are a fan of house music or not. Fans of dance music truly genuinely enjoy Step one two. The song shimmers with 8-bit distortion in some parts of the song. Step one two is another vibrant upbeat deep house song.
Pose is a bass driven styled deep house music song. The song itself relies on a bass ridden presence heavily. Sythns are quite lively on this deep house song. In some parts of the song, samples of 8-bit distortion are used. Pose is quite lively at times. Primarily overall, the song Pose relies heavily on the presence of heavy bass and deep house electronic synths. The presence of bass used sets the song Pose apart from all the other songs off the Strobelite Seduction album.
The song I Remember is a slightly calm song where things start to calm down despite its fast paced BPM. Its fast paced BPM make the song I Remember an upbeat dance music styled house song. Of course the deep house element is still present.
Borrowed Theme is where things start to calm down. Borrowed theme is a song that calms the whole mood down for the album despite its fast paced BPM. The song is perfect for calming down the albums mood for the entire album. The female vocals used on Borrowed theme are angelic perfect for calming down the albums mood. Kaskade is a genius for such an idea.
The song I'll Never Dream relies primarily on electronic synths that you will surely find in deep house styled music or house music in general. The song I'll Never Dream is an upbeat dance music styled house song of course. I'll Never Dream get sentimental by going down memory lane.
One Heart is where things start to pick up again. The song One Heart heavily relies on beats, electronic music, and dance music from its upbeat mood and vibrant sound. The song One Heart heavily relies on percussion overall. Kaskade never fails to impress with songs such as Move for Me, Back on You, Pose, Borrowed Theme, Step one two, and Angel on My Shoulder.
Your love is black starts off with a violin ensemble at the beginning. Your love is black is where things start to calm down as Your love is black is a song that calms the whole mood down for the album. The song Your love is black is perfect for calming down the albums mood for the entire album. The female vocals used on Your love is black are angelic and perfect for calming down the albums mood. Kaskade is a genius for such an idea. The acoustics accompany the beats.

This is Michael Mixerr. This afternoon I will review boysetsfire - In Chrysalis.
The Tyranny of What Everybody Knows has a theme of anarchy and tyranny.
I rate this EP, In Chrysalis, 3/5***.

This is Michael Mixerr. I will review John Mayer - Heavier Things Sampler.
John Mayer from Montana released an album sampler called Heavier Things Sampler in 2003. The album sampler featured 3 live songs that were recorded live. The 3 live songs were Neon, Clarity, and Come Back to Bed. For some reason, Aware Records, Sony, and Columbia decided to a bunch of live songs to this record. Most likely form a sales point of view. John Mayer does a superb job on the acoustics when he performs live.

This is Michael Mixerr. This afternoon I will review Loco Mente Clique - Summertime Madness.
Loco Mente Clique - Summertime Madness is similar to Tribe 46 - Summer Day and LSOB - Lowrider Madness because the single itself is Latin rap. Looking for some smoove Latin music to loco to with your ese's?
Well Loco Mente Clique - Summertime Madness is a great cassette to bump in your lowrider. Whether it's at nighttime or groovin' on a Sunday. Loco Mente Clique released their Summertime Madness single on Concrete Poetry Records from Colorado by way of Wyoming. Loco Mente Clique is from Wyoming.

This is Michael Mixerr. This afternoon I will review The Kentucky Headhunters - Stompin’ Grounds.
Stompin’ Grounds is the least successful Kentucky Headhunters albums to date aside from their independent albums. The only single from the Stompin’ Grounds was their cover of Guy Mitchell - Singin' the Blues. Even their cover song as a single itself was unsuccessful. Both The Kentucky Headhunters and BNA dropped the ball right here. After all, the key to a successful album is a good record label.
The flaws for this album were a lack of singles and lack of promotion.More singles were needed to have made this album a better success instead of just one single. Better promotion from their label BNA to promote the Stompin’ Grounds. BNA dropped the ball on The Kentucky Headhunters for failing to promote this album correctly in a timely manner. If Mark S. Orr had not left The Kentucky Headhunters band, then the Stompin’ Grounds album would have been more of a success. BNA dropped the ball on promoting this album correctly.

This is Michael Mixerr. I will review Gary Peacock - Guamba.
Gary Peacock from Idaho releases an album called Guamba. Gary Peacock - Guamba is a jazz album that was released on ECM in 1987. The Gary Peacock - Guamba album is one of the many unknown jazz albums out there in the market of music. The title itself is a giveaway that Guamba is a unique jazz album.
The song Guamba starts off with a guitar playing a single monotonous note in a sad mood. Guamba has that hot desert feel similar to a song off a movie soundtrack. Guamba is one of those songs you would hear from a movie during a scene in the desert hence the “lost in the desert” type feel. A single acoustic guitar is used throughout the song Guamba. Requim is a jazz instrumental perfect for the late night whether you have gotten off of work or just in a saddened mood. Gary Peacock recorded the song Requim in Tokyo, Japan on the date of April 5, 1971. Lila is the longest jazz composition on the Guamba album.
I rate this album, Gaumba, 5/5*****!!

This is Michael Mixerr. This afternoon I am reviewing Alias & Ehran - Lillian.
Lillian is a collaborative album with hip hop producer Alias and multi-instrumentalist Ehren hailing from the US State of Maine by way of New Hampshire. Jazz meets electronica on this album with a slight touch of hip hop music. Drum loops accompany the percussion ensemble/selection for the instrumentals on this album. Alias produced the beats of course. Synths were something else he was responsible for producing.
There is an Eastern influence on Most Important Things which is distinct due to the woodwind selection from instruments such as the flute and clarinet. Instruments such as the flute and clarinet can be considered distinct if a certain presence is present.
Moonfuzz is a relaxing jazz instrumental that will relax your mind and soothe your body. Moonfuzz will soothe your body and soul too. The song Moonfuzz is not too boisterous, heavy, or vibrant. Moonfuzz is vibrant with a shimmer sound. The song Moonfuzz itself is jazz inspired. The saxophone accompaniment for Moonfuzz is appropriate for a song such as this one.
I rate this album, Lillian, 4/5****!

This is Michael Mixerr. Today I will review Underground Impact - Trapped In Da Hood.
Established underground Pittsburgh hip hop/rap Tyrone Williams (yes FlyTy) produced a single for Pittsburgh hip hop duo Underground Impact in 1993 for Out Cold Entertainment. Gangsta rap meets the hip hop sound on this single. Underground Impact proves to have a powerful impact on their listeners for their only single. Underground Impact was Pittsburg, Pennsylvania.
Trapped In Da Hood deals with daily life, crime, and entrapment in a living in a low class neighborhood. Although Trapped In Da Hood mainly deals with entrapment while in a living in a low class neighborhood, it also about daily life in a low class neighborhood. Being trapped in a cycle of poverty and entrapment is traumatizing. Trapped In Da Hood proves to have a powerful impact on listeners.
At the beginning of Trapped In Da Hood, a siren is heard eventually being accompanied by a beat. News anchor Tyrone Dupree reports live from a housing project in Pittsburgh where earlier that day there was a driveby shooting. A 12 year old boy was shot as he tried to escape from the gunfire. Authorities nor community leaders have answers. People were shocked by the sudden wave of driveby shootings in the neighborhood.
Police brutality is an everyday reality in this neighborhood and housing project. Homicide is also an everyday reality in this neighborhood and housing project. Crime is also a daily reality here. Everyday you have to watch your back. According to FBI statistics, there are over 12,000 crime related deaths of African American males between the ages of 12 to 25 each year. They are excluded from a society that doesn’t want them.
Underground Impact proves to have a powerful impact on their listeners on the track Powerful Impact. Powerful Impact has a tight dope hip hop sound. In fact, hip hop is what Underground Impact is all about.
I rate this single, Trapped In Da Hood, 4/5****.

This is Michael Mixerr. I’ll review Unexpected Arrival - Unexpected Arrival.
In from the desolate lands of South Dakota is an R&B group whom has released title of their album the same name as their group. One would not expect an R&B group such as this one to have come from desolate lands of South Dakota. Unexpected Arrival is one smooth R&B album that is relaxing. The melodies are smooth. Producers who contributed to production were Undercaste, Kraneum, and Noah Mass. Millennium is a prime example of a perfect R&B/Soul song. The melodies are smooth and vocals are on point. Millennium is the album’s highlight track. Fans of R&B/Soul will instantly fall in love with the song Millennium. The Arrival On showcases the groups talent as a posse cut. The groups strives to show potential on song The Arrival On.

This is Michael Mixerr. I will review Bullet & Shaolin - Small Town Livin' Big City Game.
Bullet & Shaolin came from a small town in North Dakota. The album has a laid back smooth type of flow. The production is solid. U Aint Done Shit is where the duo wrecks havoc and shit. Let Me Ride is a tight catchy track. Eastside Riderz is the obvious posse cut with the entire Eastside Records roster of recording artists. Funk Daddy produced I Want You.
I rate this album, Small Town Livin' Big City Game, 3/5***.

This is Michael Mixerr. I will review Yaggfu Front - Action Packed Adventure!.
In 1994, Yaggfu Front from North Carolina released an action adventure packed album appropriately titled “Action Packed Adventure!” on Mercury Records. The style is hip hop with a rap sound. The album begins with Fanfare & Previews preparing their audience for the upcoming attractions or in this case tracks. Fruitless-Moot makes a moot point as this track is wack. The classic song Sweet Caroline is included on this album. Slappin' Suckas Silly (LP Remix) is a goofy rap freestyle. My Dick Is So Large! is the bonus track that acts as the ending for this album.

This is Michael Mixerr. Today I will review Brohamm - Ball Beyond 99.
Ball Beyond 99 is a raw underground Alabama rap album hailing from the Dirty South with some Dirty South rap sounds. This album itself is a representation of Southern rap. Brohamm is true southern hip hop/rap at its finest. Production for this album and lyrical concepts really stand out sharply on this album by Brohamm. DJ Bad co-produced Ball Beyond 99. This 27 track album is nothing but raw real rap not recommended for the weak minded people. The message for this album is as listed in the liner notes.: “Don’t let all you know be all you learn.”
The only problem with this album is the number of interludes included inside of this album. 3 interludes are plenty. Maybe 4 interludes at best. 12 interludes are way too many as the interludes distract the listener away from the musical content on this album. That is why 12 interludes is way too redundant. That is the only flaw with this album.
I rate this album, Ball Beyond 99, 4/5****!

This is Michael Mixerr. Today I will review Da Unforgiven - Left Lane Livin'.
Da Unforgiven comes from the US State of West Virginia which is a weird state of quirkiness. No one would expect an artist such as this one to have a rap album come from West Virginia. Mr. Mike (of Texas 2000 fame) produced a majority of this album and a handful of tracks. Michael T. Crawford produced a handful of tracks as well. Some of the lyrics are subpar. The album, of course, is raw underground rap.
I rate this album, Left Lane Livin’, 4/5****.

This is Michael Mixerr. Today I will review Danny Boy - It’s About Time.
Danny Boy - It’s About Time is one of those perfect albums for when you and/or your lover is a romantic mood. Danny Boy is known for his soulful romantic mood ballads as that is what he was primarily known for back in the 90s. The Jodeci styled production sound can be heard all over this album which is no surprise because DeVante Swing produced 3 songs on this album. The mood for this album is relaxing.
Death Row Records and Suge Knight really dropped the ball on promoting South Carolina artist Danny Boy properly. Better promotion was needed for this album to prosper. It was due to Suge Knight's crack addiction, sheer stupidity, changes in musical styles, and his piss poor marketing skills the album was constantly pushed back and remained unreleased for 15 years until 2010 when WIDEAwake acquired the album rights from the Death Row Records company for a high bid from a 2008 auction when the company’s assets were being sold to various record companies such as Koch Records, Interscope, and E1.
If Death Row had released this album at the in 1998 when it would have gained more popularity and recondition then it wouldn't sound as old. Dr. Dre should have been a producer on this album. We need his voice in R&B/Soul today because most R&B/Soul sucks today. The New Jack Swing era was long over at the time this album was released. Sadly the album did not meet up with the success of other Death Row albums during their heyday and popularity.
The album features pre-recorded songs from the 1990s with contributed production from DJ Quik, DeVante Swing, and Dimitrius Shipp. Songs from this Danny Boy album were recorded from 1994-1999. Jodeci member DeVante Swing produced songs such as If U Don't Mind, It's All About You, and Just Ride. DJ Quik produced the Come When I Call (Remix) with George Archie.

This is Michael Mixerr. Today I will do a review Maestro - The Light.
Maestro - The Light is a Kansas/Mississippi classic R&B masterpiece. It’s smooth R&B suited to soothe the soul. The album contains a smooth sexy R&B/Soul vibe, sound, and feel. The smooth sexy R&B/Soul vibe is what sets this album apart from most R&B/Soul albums in the music market. One would have thought an album from the US State of Kansas would not be so R&B oriented.
What’s so special about the album is the number of bonus tracks included. Specifically, there are three bonus tracks included with this album. Three bonus tracks are Sexy Instrumental (Bonus), I Just Got This Thing (Bonus), and Sunday Afternoon (Bonus).
The instrumental for Sexy Dancer is included as a bonus track on this album. The instrumental for Sexy Dancer is a lounge music type of song that meets the R&B/Soul genre. Sexy Dancer is known as Sexy Instrumental (Bonus).
Sunday Afternoon is another bonus track included on this album. It’s similar to LSOB - Chillin’ On A Sunday Afternoon. The vibe has similarities to Sunday Afternoon by LSOB. I Just Got This Thing (Bonus) is a sex song.
I rate this album, THE LIGHT, 4/5****.

This is Michael Mixerr. Today I will do a review on Vontel - Vision of a Dream.
What stands out about this 1996 album is the production! DJ Battlecat produced a significant majority of songs on this album. Battlecat did a phenomenal job producing such superb songs. With Battlecat you can never go wrong. His beats are the shit! They are superb. Roger Troutman not only produced a handful of Vontel songs but lent usage of his vocoder on some Vontel songs which is why you can hear Roger Troutman using a vocoder on some songs. Roger Troutman of Zapp guest stars on 2 tracks. Everything Roger Troutman produced and performed on is pure genius and is pure fire! Smooth G-Funk sounds can be heard on this album. The album, of course, is G-Funk inspired. The beats are exciting even without hooks.
Vontel is a fresh breeze of originality. He keeps his lyrics consistent by flowing with originality. His truly unique vocals help him stand out on his debut album.Vontel is a perfect representation of G-Funk. Vontel has a smooth R&B type of voice you would acquire inside of soul music. Vontel also has a smooth subtle tenor in his voice on this album a smooth pimp type of flow and drawl.
Every fan of rap music should have this album in their music collection. It’s just that good of a classic masterpiece. Vision of a Dream is an album you will regret sleeping on. Vontel - Vision of a Dream is one of the best albums in Arizona R&B and Arizona Rap! Overall the album is tight.
However this album is not very easy to find. Vision of a Dream is an extremely rare album because the album is no longer in print. Vision of a Dream is one of those HTF OOP albums in collectors terms. The Vision of a Dream album sells for hundreds (> than $100) on the online market. The Vision of a Dream album is a high in demand album in the international market of music in countries such as Japan, France, Spain, Australia, Belgium, or Germany.
My Homies guest stars Roger Troutman of Zapp. Roger Troutman uses a vocoder on My Homies. R&B meets rap on the My Homies song. My Homies is a perfect representation of G-Funk. A blended element of doo-wop music is added at the end. Everything Roger Troutman produced and performed on is pure genius and is pure fire!
R&B meets rap on Loungin. Loungin samples Kingpin Skinny Pimp - Midnight Hoes. Vontel has a smooth pimp type of flow here. Loungin is perfect for the car boppers and car freaks. R&B meets rap on the Fo Life song. Fo Life is a perfect representation of G-Funk.

This is Michael Mixerr. Today I will review Playa D - Something 2 Ride 2.
Something 2 Ride 2 is smooth Midwest rap over G-Funk from Omaha, Nebraska. Both sides of this cassette have killer tracks. Playa D will remind you of Tech N9ne in his early days. Playa D is very similar to Too $hort and Tech N9ne. The smooth G-Funk sounds give Playa D a smooth pimp type of flow. Something 2 Ride 2 is something for the ballers and shot callers to ride to.
Playa D must have been inspired by Too $hort when he wrote Something 2 Ride 2. Something 2 Ride 2 is a track geared towards car boppers and car freaks. Playa D has a smooth pimp type of flow all throughout the track. Smooth G-Funk sounds can be heard on Something 2 Ride 2.
Let Me Ride samples Let Me Ride by Dr. Dre & Snoop Dogg. Playa D must have been inspired by both Dr. Dre & Snoop Dogg when he wrote Let Me Ride. Playa D has a smooth pimp type of flow all throughout the track unsurprisingly. It’s no surpise that those smooth G-Funk sounds can be heard on Let Me Ride. After all this song was recorded in 1997.
Driftin is a track that calms the album/single down into a smooth subtle mood. Smooth is one word to describe the track called Driftin.
I rate this single, Something 2 Ride 2, 4/5****.

This is Michael Mixerr. This morning I will review J-Mac – BO$$ Hoggin.
J-Mac – BO$$ Hoggin came on CD from Pup Dog Records based outta Arkansas in 1998. J-Mac himself a raw rapper that released another raw underground rap album such as this one here. If you are looking for explicit raw underground rap, then this album is the right album for you. Old school beats over G-Funk sines and sounds is what this album contains. The underground rap sound is prevalent here too.

Michel’le – Michel’le Album Sampler was an album sampler put out on Death Row Records in 1998 to promote the R&B/Soul album called Hung Jury by Michel’le. There is a lack of her Minnie Mouse-like squeaky voice on this album unlike the last album. The only song on here with her signature Minnie Mouse-like squeaky voice is Crazy. Single highlight tracks were Hang Tyme, Can I Get A Witness?, and Crazy, The album's production sounded out of date at the time it was released. The album is good, but not great. The New Jack Swing era was long over at the time this album was released.
*[Michel’le is pronounced Me-Shell-Lay.]
*[Michel’le – Michel’le Album Sampler came out on CD only in 1998.]
I rate this album, Michel’le Album Sampler, 5/5*****!

This is Michael Mixerr. This morning I will review Lil Willie & The Keynotes - It’s Good To Be Back.
After extensive touring and traveling on the road as a New Jersey worship band, Lil Willie & The Keynotes are glad to be back home. It’s Good To Be Back is filled with religious gospel melodies, religious worship, church praise, and Christian hymns. They surface with such acclaimed praise and tributes to fallen ones whom are deceased. Religious worship and praise can be heard throughout the album on the angelic harmony chorus.
It’s Good To Be Back after extensive touring and traveling on the road as Lil Willie & The Keynotes put it. Lil Willie & The Keynotes are glad to be back home from touring the United States along with Canada. Life on the road can be tiresome and troubling. That comes with the pressure, anxiety, stress, insomnia, and energy. It’s all part of the package. Their band members spirits, minds, and souls are in the right place when it comes to praise and worship.
Melody is a hymn filled with Christian worship & praise. Melody is an appropriated titled track for this album. It fits the albums theme of tribute along with worship & praise.
God is Good is a melodic hymn of Christian worship & praise worshipping God. God is good and life is great. Life is grand. God is Good is filled with positive acclaim and religious praise. The band does surface well with the angelic chorus in harmony.
We Miss You is a heartfelt sorrowful tribute to fallen loved ones who are deceased. This track deserves such acclaimed praise.
I rate this album, It’s Good To Be Back, 5/5*****!

This is Michael Mixerr. I am reviewing Junie - Funk Rappin Affair.
Funk meets rap on this 1993 album called Funk Rap Affair. It’s a funk music meets rap music collaboration for this album or rater EP due to the lack of songs in tracklisting. That s the exact reason why funk rap elements along with funk rap can be heard on this album. The album itself is a dope album.
Funk Rappin Affair was produced by Calvin C. Cazenave aka "Caz" and Junie himself. He was in his early teens when he wrote and produced his first album. The album released on cassette only in the Sacramento area in 1993.
I rate this album, Funk Rappin Affair, 5/5*****!!

This is Michael Mixerr. I am reviewing Lil Raw – Murdacine.
Lil Raw – Murdacine was released cassette locally in 1998 in the Racine, Wisconsin area. Murdacine was a demo for Lil Raw at the time. Murdacine glorifies the shock value of murder rap and thug rap along with gangsta rap music. I would say so myself and so would you. Wisconsin always had that raw underground rap sound you could get used to that never received much airplay on the airwaves and got overlooked. Lil Raw’s demo tape is no exception.
I rate this EP, Murdacine, 4/5****.

This is Michael Mixerr. Today I will do a review about the Ribbed album by NOFX.
This album was released in 1991 which after their 1990 album. The songs are awesome and they kick ass! Sadly, there are some downsides to this album. There are 3 downsides to this album with the 3 being that the songs were too short, some of the production was off key, and vocals could not be heard. NOFX has a penchant for fast music and dirty jokes, but this album’s duration was too fast. This album is not as great as the others. Ribbed will remind you of Self Entitled from 2012. That album had the typical hard edge punk rock sound, penchant for fast music, and the dirty jokes of course.
I’ll rate this album, Ribbed, 2/5**.

This is Michael Mixerr. Today I will do a review on the So Long And Thanks For All The Shoes album by NOFX.
Part of the problem is the production sound of the album. That's why it did not have huge success. The production sound and style was average at best. Production did not really stand out all that much. All Outta Angst is about dealing with angst. The song is angst ridden henceforth the title so on. Kids of the K-Hole is a song that got overlooked by the rest of the album. Despite being a fan favorite among NOFX fans, music critics disagreed so otherwise by referring to it as a 2/5** star album (2/5** album). This NOFX album is another one that got overlooked and underrated by most rock fans. Other good songs are Eat The Meek, Quart In Session, Kids of the K-Hole, and All Outta Angst.
I rate this album, So Long And Thanks For All The Shoes, 4/5****.

This is Michael Mixerr. Today I will review Bob Marley & The Wailers – Legend.
Bob Marley & The Wailers – Legend is one the best albums in the history of reggae music. Hands down! Every song included inside this album is a classical masterpiece. The Legend album itself is a classical masterpiece. All reggae fans should have this album in their music collection and so should all music collectors. Buying this album is something you won’t regret! Every song on this album is memorable.
Is This Love is one the most unabashed flamboyant love songs in the history of reggae music. Is This Love is a reggae love song performed by Bob Marley. The song itself is filled with love and passion. Bob Marley & The Wailers were sure passionate about it when they were writing this reggae love song.
No Woman, No Cry is a heart-breaking reggae classic. The live version from the London Lyceum concert is the best live version ever! The gospel organ is the most memorable instrument in this song that will leave a long lasting impact to your memory bank.
Could You Be Loved is about self-awareness. Could You Be Loved is an ode to self-awareness. The song Could You Be Loved was highly favored in Britain and America.
Bob Marley gets both political and historical at the same time on Buffalo Soldier. The beats have a bouncy vibe often found inside reggae music. The story is about how black men were being conscripted, forced, and bribed into the ranks of the Union Army to kill Native American Indians. Black men who were Africans were being conscripted, forced, and bribed into the ranks of the Union Army during the American Civil War from 1861-1865. These black men were being conscripted to kill Native American Indians. The cruelty in this reggae ballad is ironic and iconic.

Bennie Banks – Play By Play is a gangsta soul album where hip hop meats gangsta rap music with a touch of smooth soul that is not too sultry. He lives a life of hopelessness in the ghetto as there is no chance for him to make it out of the ghetto. No, Born In The Hood (I'm Die In The Hood) is not a rags to riches story. It’s about living a life of hopelessness while entrapped inside a hopeless vicious cycle of poverty. He thinks because he was born in the ghetto that he will die in the ghetto. The hook is a masterpiece. Anything by Bennie Banks can be recommended for DJs!
Bennie Banks spits out politics of the game on Game 101. Game 101 is about the game of life, the politics on the game of life, politics of the drug game, politics of the crime game, politics of the business game, and music game of course. Overall Game 101 is about the game of life.
Player 2 Player was inspired by the song Look Listen To Your Heart. Such smooth soul is blended and incorporated into Player 2 Player. The chorus is smooth and the sound sure is pleasant. The sound sure is smooth. Player 2 Player is recommended for DJs! Player 2 Player is a “listen to your heart” type of song.
My Love is a short sweet mellow love song written, composed, and produced by Bennie Banks. Bennie Banks uses his Soprano voice on My Love. He showcases himself very well on this love song of his. The hook is a masterpiece. My Love samples The Stylistics - Stop Superior Carry.
Bennie Banks experiments and showcases using his Soprano voice on Benji Soprano. The sound sure is smooth and is sure pleasant.
Playaholic and 4 The Paper are a drugs, money, and sex type of tracks. Booty Hoe's is an up in the club, mature, sex type of track. Hey Ho! is an up in the club anthem.
I rate this album, Play By Play, 4/5****!!
