Mixerr Album Reviews #941

This is Michael Mixerr. On this day, I will review Rhymes Monumental - Target Earth.

Rhymes Monumental took us through an extraterrestrial point of view via an aliens approach on the Target Earth because the Bible tells us we are not part of this world. Rhymes Monumental takes the stance of the warrior since Jesus Christ himself did not come to bring out peace but to seperate family members from assaults the world with his anointed music with skillful lyrics from spoken word. "Get saved or get out of the way." is the motto Rhymes Monumental is rolling with.

Rhymes Monumental is very ministry oriented because he has a personal relationship with Christ. The goal of his albums is to tear down religious myths from Christianity through parables that an unsaved mind can understand. He himself is trying to save souls so they can accept Jesus Christ. Rhymes Monumental has always lived by the ideal that Jesus Christ often spoke in parables. He never walked to a sinner and said I am the son of God. He told parables and stories so that the sinners could hear and understand the truth. If Jesus spoke to everyone about the absolute truth they would die from the knowledge. That is exactly why we were not supposed to eat the fruit in the first place. That's why the face of God is never shown in the Bible. Because if you saw him you would die from your own sin. Never take anybody's word - Consult the Bible.

Add Rhymes Monumental's religious consciousness, funky funk, smooth jazz rhythms, Christian rap, and spoken word, you have the marvelous result of this album! Funk and jazz are the most prevalent elements used along with rap. Rap is another main element of this album.

The Battle: Christ vs. the Deathstar is the most Christian song on the album. This is a tale of two superheroes battling the devil. These two superheroes were recruited by Jesus Christ to battle the devil. In particular, these two souls are super because they have Jesus Christ in their lives.

You don't need sex, drugs, clothes, materialism, gluttony, or money to be hook on Christ. You just need Christ. Just Christ. That what Hooked on Christ is all about. Hooked on Christ features the Illharmonics (Play Dough and Blake Knight). The concept of Godcore is "You can keep the hardcore and whatever. Our core is Christ!" He lives in us. The track itself is a virtuoso victory.

The Tribute is a mix n mash hodgepodge of samples from previous Rhymes Monumental albums. It's a special tribute to Rhymes Monumental's older albums that not many people have heard because only certain amounts copies were pressed.

Ghostriders turns into spiritual fiction from the start. Holy Ghost Riders are riding motorcycles to the rescue engulfed by Holy Fire with legions of angels. Jesus is coming back like a thief in the night. So get ready! Call the Holy Ghost Riders to evade your attacks. Witness the Holy Ghost.

Rhymes Monumental is preaching is like a heavyweight on Headstrong. Rhymes Monumental grasps his bible shooting verses and scriptures until they need stitches. Preach like a heavyweight especially if a demon manifests in your own realm of spirituality! (Or Christ.) But some people won't listen no matter what because they're too headstrong. Ask your pastor or priest.

Headstrong samples Main Source - Looking at the Front Door. Rhymes Monumental was smart for using a funk sample accompany a jazz instrumental. Funk and jazz blend in well with each other. We can that Rhymes Monumental had fun with this track because it gets funky right away!

I rate this album, Target Earth, 5/5*****!!
