This is Michael Mixerr. Today I will review Troyski - Universal.
Independent Blues has that inner city blues sound. Troyski was possibly influenced by the genres of Blues and Jazz when writing the composition for Independent Blues. The tune Independent Blues is reminiscent of Marvin Gaye - Inner City Blues. Of course this song was written and produced by Troyski himself. So there are no samples used despite the given title of the song which is ironic.
The Bullet With No Name is a pure gangsta rap track that samples Brick by Dazz. The Brick sample by Dazz fits in perfectly with The Bullet With No Name. The Bullet With No Name track has a Bullets Don’t Have No Names vibe to it. There I Go is a soul rap track. There I Go samples Brick by Dazz also.
