Mixerr Album Reviews #1,095

This is Michael Mixerr. I will review Major Riley - The Untold Story.

Turn Around is a Rastafarian song with a religious message telling us those with clean hands & a pure heart shall enter into the Kingdom of Mount Zion in order to not let our hearts to be troubled. In order to do that we must turn around and walk away from the evil because Satan is trying to misguide us. Satan is trying to misguide you. We must turn around and walk away from the evil element that resides in violence. We must turn around and walk away from violence.

In this world, poverty and violence are something we cannot escape. We have to understand this concept. Poverty and violence leads us to be neglected, molested, also to be rejected, and not protected. In this world, poverty and violence plagues almost everything. Violence is something we cannot escape. Poverty is something we cannot escape.

This is the message that Major Riley is trying to convey as Major Riley tackles violence with this song as an effort of peace. The song Turn Around has an anti-violence theme that preaches to us to turn around and walk away from the evil element which resides in violence. In other words, Turn Around has an anti-violence theme that preaches to us to turn around and walk away from violence. Major Riley advocates for a solution of anti-violence. We have to understand this concept of anti-violence as which Major Riley wants his listeners to.

Right Now is a Rastafarian song with a religious message telling us to submit to the Almighty Father. Yahweh is  defending us. The Almighty Father protects us against Satan. Right Now is a peaceful song rallying against violence, evil, and trouble. Major Riley advises us to stay away from trouble.

Oh Lord. It’s a blessing for Major Riley. Because right now Major Riley can hear the Almighty Father calling. He can hear his voice ringing. The Almighty Father is beside Major Riley. So Satan can’t misguide him. Because of the Almighty Father, Major Riley is good rather than evil. Right now, the world is on his shoulder. Yahweh will be defending us. So be careful my people and stay away from trouble. Major Riley advises us to stay away from trouble.

His journey has just begun. Today is a new day. Let us kneel and pray beforth to Yahweh. Yes you got to have faith. Yahweh is the Prince of peace as Yahweh is defending us.

Save The Earth is a wake-up call telling us we need to save the Earth. Major Riley gets environmental on this song about saving both Mother Earth and Mother Nature. He brings forth a solution to save the Earth in songwriter form through lyrics within this song.

Calling one and all! Get up and pray! Mother Nature calls us to do so. Major Riley can see total destruction to our Earth from over the years of pollution. We need to save the Earth from destruction and pollution. Destruction and pollution are destroying the Earth and Mother Nature. Destruction and pollution destroy the planet Earth.
We are destroying the Earth by drilling oil. We destroy the Earth by drilling for oil and natural gases rather than to find alternatives in renewable sources of energy such as solar power, biofuel, and wind power that won’t drain all our natural resources. All rivers run dry soon no soil will bear. No birds will fly.

Tears is about how destruction of our world pains Major Riley. Tears are rolling down his soul killing him inside. The destruction of the world is killing Major Riley inside. He sees the world headed towards destruction. Youth in the ghetto need protection. Poverty is up to their neck. The youth have been neglected in many ways. The system is leading our children astray.

Send Me An Angel is a religious reggae song by Major Riley. Yahweh (religion) is the main theme for Send Me An Angel. Major Riley requests Yahweh to send him an angel. He requests Yahweh to cast all of his sin away as he kneels and prays. Major Riley is not ashamed to praise Yahweh.
Be strong and hold your head up is the message of Send Me An Angel. Life is not easy. We must do our best to alleviate the stress. The truth we possess is not easy.

Amen is a religious Rastafarian hymn that features Chevelle Franklyn. Chevelle Franklyn is all over this song being in both the chorus and vocals. Chevelle Franklyn establishes herself fairly well in Amen. That’s how her presence is established.

It’s heaven or hell on the Signs of Time track. As a human you shall reap. Talk is cheap. In this life you have to survive. Clean hands and a pure heart shall enter into the Kingdom of Mount Zion. God makes the decision in conclusion to send someone to heaven or hell.

Both Dope House Records and Coy Entertainment should have strived harder to promote Major Riley’s debut album.
Major Riley’s debut album is one of those album that got overlooked by the masses at the time in 2000. Everyone was trying to break thru in music. Major Riley - The Untold Story is one of Dope House Records lesser known albums.

I rate this album, The Untold Story, 5/5*****!
