Frank “The Enforcer” Nitty - Murda Mil is an ultra rare album from Milwaukee, Wisconsin filled with Snoop Dogg styled gangsta rap, soul, and G-Funk. Frank’s tone and style are reminiscent of Snoop Dogg. He copies his style, flow, and steelo. The album uses a mixture of R&B/Soul, hip hop/rap, and jazz. Other than that, this tight album is filled with 100% gangsta rap. Don't miss out on listening to this album!
Frank "P" Nitty produced the entire album himself with very little outside help from any producers minus the engineers. There were only a couple of engineers who helped mastered the album.
The album title itself is a reference to how Milwaukee is/was the murder capital of Wisconsin and the United States. According to the FBI, Milwaukee had one of the murder rates in Wisconsin from 1998-2007 and 2012. Milwaukee was widely known as the murder capital of the US next to Detroit, Flint, Gary, New Orleans, Los Angeles, San Antonio, and Baltimore. Notice how the title Murda Mil is red and dripping blood.
Notice how the front cover has the caption “Street Justice: We play by a different set of rules!” That is a reference to how people in Milwaukee often take the law into their own hands by committing murder. People play by a different set of rules in Milwaukee when it comes to law and order.
This album is extremely hard to find since Frank released this album on an independent label without nationwide distribution or major distribution. The album was hardly sold outside the Great Lakes region let alone outside Wisconsin or up north. Lack of proper distribution is why his album hardly left the Great Lakes region up north let alone outside Wisconsin.
Frank tells the story of a good girl gone bad on Feel This. She subjected herself to prostitution. Frank wants us to feel his pain and her pain. The beats on Feel This are thick and loud but not thunderous or filtered.
Geneva is a good girl gone bad. She subjected herself to prostitution as she is a hoe sadly. She had everything from syphilis to gonorrhea. The CDC couldn’t stop all the sexually-transmitted diseases she had. Frank was relieved to hear she had AIDS so that way she could not contaminate the rest of the world with what was between her thighs.
HIV had her crying in the fire of lust. She’s opened herself to a world of harmful viruses. Her beauty was gone when cash started rolling in. Society’s pressure of life is trying to kill her and Frank. But Frank keeps striving and won’t fall for that.
Nina And Nitty is Frank’s cover of Grover Washington Jr. - Just The Two Of Us. He uses Snoop Dogg’s style, and flow throughout the song. Soul meets gangsta rap on Nina And Nitty.
The premise of this song is Frank proving his love and loyalty to his lover Nina. Frank proves his loyalty to his lover Nina by not leaving her side. Just Nina and Nitty to the very end. The two of them can make it if they try. Him and his girlfriend.
Nina and Nitty are the tightest couple ever seen for holding the record of faithfulness throughout hard times. He never thought about being with any else besides her. This is unconditional love.
What stands out about this cover of Grover Washington Jr. - Just The Two Of Us is the steel drums that are used. Those steel drums will remind you of Hawaiian music, Caribbean music, and Reggae. The steel drums are used randomly throughout the song.
Sexual Healin is Frank’s cover of Marvin Gaye - Sexual Healin. He uses Snoop Dogg’s style, cadence, and flow throughout the song. Frank brings out the Milwaukee funk in this song as well. Soul meets rap on Sexual Healin. You know what they say. Sexual healing does the body good whether it be fornication or masturbation. We’ve got to have it.
Frank woke up this morning feeling good and right. But there seemed to be something missing from his life. That something was sex. So he put on his best short set which are XL Magnum condoms. Today Frank will give Nina all he’s got.
He doesn’t joke about safe sex. Using ecstasy drops to increase pleasure during sex is what he uses. One more try is all he needs to set the pussy up for a killing. Just a little ghetto serenade of his sexual healing. Sex and love are what he needs.
We all need sexual healing whether it be fornication or masturbation. We’ve got to have it. That is something that needs to be fulfilled. Sex speaks for itself. Get those condoms up off the shelf.
Murda Mil, the title track, serves an example of street justice. Frank lets us know he uses and sides with street justice. By doing that he takes the law into his own hands and handles his business. That is what the caption on the front cover is referring to. “Street Justice: We play by a different set of rules!”
People in Milwaukee often take the law into their own hands by committing murder. People play by a different set of rules in Milwaukee when it comes to law and order. They take the law into their own hands.
For those who don’t know, the song itself is a reference to how Milwaukee is/was the murder capital of Wisconsin and the United States.
Mil-Town Ridin is a funky upbeat dance rap song with a groovy vibe. The song is laced with infectious sustained electro synths. So you know the song has that 80s electronic sound. The beats are filtered and muffled. Frank brings out the Milwaukee funk in this song. The song describes a day in the life of Frank “The Enforcer” Nitty.
Frank starts his day at 12:00 PM by getting up and going to take a shower. He fixes himself some lunch. Then he gets all dressed up to impress. He has so many clothes to the point where he can’t handle it. Can’t forget the jewelry. Sterlings silver and Quartz diamonds. Now it’s time for him to hit the city streets to make his day complete. Just another day in the city of Milwaukee. No player hating or beat downs. Just Mil-Town riding.
Rolling down the freeway. Frank doesn’t think or care about what people say. He lives trouble free and drug free. Nothing is going to get in his way. He goes to the store to pick up a pair of jeans.
Next he heads to the gas station to get something to drink and fill up his tank. After that he hits up Desert Lake to go flex. Afterwards he hits up his homie’s pad since he was doing nothing. They just relax until the sun sets. Just another day in the city.
At 6:30 PM, Frank hits the road to grab dinner at P Dots. A basketball game with the Los Angeles Lakers is playing on television. All the fans were cheering them on. Fans give the song praise and compliments for being the best song on the album.
You will love the soulful sounds on Fly Like An Eagle. Fly Like An Eagle uses a sample from Seal - Fly Like An Eagle. Not a coincidence because Fly Like An Eagle is a cover of Seal - Fly Like An Eagle.
A news reporter does a news story live on television with Frank P Nitty. Frank P Nitty has been dubbed Milwaukee’s most controversial rapper/street poet. There has been speculation of Fly Like An Eagle being a rap autobiography. The news reporter asks him, “Is this true?”. Frank confirms this to be factual. Fly Like An Eagle is described as a self-made story of Frank’s life.
Frank discusses the story of his life and how he came up. His mind was set on realistic dreams as he was trying to come up in this world. He needed a way out from the drug trade. So he started rapping.
Nasty Girl is a cover of Vanity 6 - Nasty Girl. He puts a Snoop Dogg type of twist and sound to this cover song of his. So things do get explicit. Do not be surprised.
Now what’s interesting and unique about this cover of Nasty Girl is the number of samples used. Instead of using just the one song to sample his cover song, Frank sampled 3 songs instead of 1 song. The songs he sampled in his cover song were Janet Jackson - Nasty, Sugarhill Gang - 9th Wonder, and George Michael - Hard Day.
Frank does a rap cover song of the song SOS Band - Tell Me which is retitled to Do U Still Care?. The song Do U Still Care? is a cover of SOS Band - Tell Me. Do U Still Care? samples SOS Band - Tell Me. He asks, “Tell me. Do you still care?”.
I rate this album 4/5****!
