Brett Dancer – Assimiliation Station E.P. is an upbeat deep house EP with such uptempo laced songs. Each song follows a groove. What’s different about this Brett Dancer EP is that these songs rely heavily on the chords more than the beats. He decided to focus more on the progression and harmonies of those chords you hear all over the place. Brett Dancer can do no wrong when producing.
This EP is one of Brett Dancer’s lesser known releases from 1997 which unfortunately got overlooked and overshadowed by many. Not too many people know about this release. But that does not prevent this EP from being a classic or a banger. The release is definitely something you should purchase if given the opportunity. You will love this record!
The song In Da Mind is known for its nice chords and harmonies. Notice how the chords use different frequencies and progressions. There is definitely some progression in those chords. This song follows a harmony. A cowbell gives In Da Mind a retro vibe.
Dying Luv is one of Brett Dancer’s more dance themed tracks which heavily relies on the usage of many chords. Notice how the chords use different frequencies and progressions throughout the song. There is definitely some progression in those chords. The song is known for using a lush deep chord. The sound here is unbelievable. Brett Dancer can do no wrong when producing.
I rate this EP 5/5*****!!
