Some history behind the abandoned Isimo’s explained and shown. An illegal restaurant operation exposed.

Isimo’s was an Italian restaurant located in Lago Vista, Texas which operated from 2007 to 2008. Isimo’s was an Italian restaurant that also served and offered Mexican food. Lisa Bruce and her boyfriend Marcelo Merlenes owned and operated Isimo’s.

Gary Hudson sold his two acre property that he had owned to Lisa Bruce and her boyfriend Marcelo Merlenes in 2006. They were in charge of the property all together.

The Hudson's were both annexed into the City of Lago Vista in 2007. This included Isimo’s and Lago Tacos. Lisa Bruce and Marcello Merlenes had illegally opened up and operated an Italian restaurant called Isimo's but were quickly forced to shut down weeks after opening due to red tag violations and selling food without a permit. Isimo’s would cease operating in 2008.

The property and building was later sold to Sandy Lee in 2010. Sandy Lee sold the property to Taha Custom Homes Inc in 2016 due to her dealing health resulting from cancer. (Ref: http://propaccess.traviscad.org/clientdb/Property.aspx?prop_id=176686)
