B Brazy - Figueroa Rida (Figaro Rida) is one of those hood albums that hardly ever left the Inglewood, California. Only a few people in Inglewood and LA know about this album. B Brazy had charm, charisma, and talent when he rapped. He had that Nawlins (New Orleans) accent in his voice. His voice and charm are what make his album great. You will love his gangsta rap style and finesse in his vocals as this is some real gangbanging music. Brazy was the braziest and the hardest. He was ahead of his game. The album had some straight gangsta lyrics and dope beats. A small tinge of soul music is incorporated.
B Brazy recorded the Figueroa Rida album in his own basement. The album had 10 tracks. So you know it has that raw sound to it. Unfiltered and raw gangsta rap sound. DJ Dammar helped produced his album.
B Brazy never dropped any of his albums on Dangerous Records. B Brazy personally made his own albums on CD-r and distributed them to his homies in Inglewood in 2000. There was no artwork or cover printed up for his album. Only 60 first pressings of the CD supposedly exist. Possibly 1,000 copies total at most.
B Brazy starts off with the song Payback. Now the song Payback was inspired by James Brown - Payback. Payback was a B Brazy lyrical rap freestyle heavy inspired by the sound of James Brown. Ronnie Ron and Leroy Dukes produced Payback. B Brazy vents out his anger against the music industry on Payback.
B Brazy is demanding that these record companies better give him something. The action crew is back! (The action crew being Dangerous Records crew.) B Brazy raps about how the music business is no joke. They only give their artists enough to barely survive on. The music business is a cutthroat business.
Now B Brazy wonders whether or not he should do (perform) a jack move or should he sell rocks (cocaine) to the Japs. You know he did rapping and scrapping in his career. He does not dig no back stabbing. The music business is like a dice game. It’s win, lose, or draw. B Brazy continues to vent out his anger against the music industry. He makes crucial remarks against the music business. B Brazy has seen and met artists who have made a top selling hit and they don’t have shit. They absolutely do not have shit. The labels do not pay them. It’s not anything funny walking around being broke.
Bitch Get Lifted is a B Brazy/Bloody Mary duo cut although B Brazy performs most of the rapping donning the track into a B Brazy solo. Some B Brazy fans and Bangin’ On Wax fans regard Bitch Get Lifted as a B Brazy solo track. B Brazy is all over the place here.
A funky James Brown sampled is looped all over Bitch Get Lifted. The track Bitch Get Lifted seems to be overall James Brown inspired. Ronnie Ron must have been inspired by the funky sounds of James Brown when he produced this track in 1997. Bitch Get Lifted is a perfect song to listen to with bass boosted. Bitch Get Lifted came from Ronnie Rons' Gangsta-Lation Album in 2000.
This World We Live In deals with the problems of the world. The song also deals with B Brazy’s own personal problems and thoughts. Not just gangbanging. This is real. You know. People say the justice system is a joke.
I rate this album 5/5*****!!
