Hemphill Park is one of Austin’s lesser known parks which is conveniently located just less than 3 miles north of the downtown area. This lush green park is located on 3 acres of parkland. Several bridges overlap the greenery creating perfect walkways to walk on. Hemphill Park was constructed in 1912 and opened the same year by the City of Austin.
