T.W. Beverely House was constructed and erected around 1920. The exact date of construction is unknown. This house was constructed as a one-story hipped bungalow in rectangular form and clad in weatherboard siding. The low-pitched roof features wide overhanging eaves with exposed rafter rends and covered in asphalt shingles. The bungalow was deigned to be a single family residence. According to the City Directory, the house was owned and occupied by T.W. Beverely. He had modified the house sometime during the 1920s hence the centered modern replacement door. T.W. Beverely was operating a grocery on the property throughout the 1920s and 1930s. A 1925 Sanborn map confirms the presence of separate store west of the house. His store was demolished in 1931. T.W. Beverely continued to own and occupy the house until his death. (Ref: Hattiesburg City Directory, 1935)
