Spirit Horses featured several songs composed for Nakai by the award winning composer James DeMars. The album itself is a Native American Indian flute concerto accompanied by a chamber orchestra. Spirit Horses is an album of classical music ensembles. Sound from the cedar flute is well relevant. Colors Fall is a classic composition of classical music ensemble. The Premonitions tracks is another ensemble.
