This is Michael Mixerr. Tonight I will review Bat - Save Me.
Bat - Save Me is similar to the dark horrorcore sounds of Brotha Lynch Hung and Esham. Who knew that the state of Virginia could produce such raw dark horrorcore sound?
Ghetto Heaven has some dark grimey horrorcore sounds with a heavy pultruding bass line to accompany the track. The bass line gives Ghetto Heaven a spooky eerie feeling. Such bass will leave a long lasting impact on your mind. Not mention Ghetto Heaven is percussion ridden too. Who knew that the state of Virginia could produce such raw dark horrorcore sound?
Save Me has some dark grimey horrorcore sounds. However, both the bass and treble seem to be set a reduced level. The bass is much lower than Ghetto Heaven. Save Me is a desperate plea or cry for help. The artist is crying out for help. It hurts so bad to die. At the beginning, we are taken into a state of confusion. The artist commits suicide by a shooting himself with a chrome gun. He kills himself in a single shot. Bat doesn’t even trust himself. Bat can’t even trust his soul. What’s life without fear? What is life without stress? Everyone goes through stress. In some cases, stress can result into a downward spiral of suicidal thoughts.
I rate this album, Save Me, 4/5****.
