Holmes Hardware was built in 1920 as a brick building on a concrete structure beneath it. 1924 is when Holmes Hardware officially opened. Holmes Hardware was a hardware store operating as a wholesale hardware company that had a catalog. In 1976 the store closed. Today the building is now abandoned.
