Michigan Works of Muskegon plans to used deconstruction materials attained from the elimination of blight homes and the former Dymet Corp building. The private sector could benefit from it. However much needs to be renovated. The presence of hydraulic oil, sodium cyanide, oxidizer, and nickel powder drums and several other unknown drums are definitely there.
According to EPA, a Phase I Environmental Assessment and a Phase II Environmental Assessment have already been performed at this site. Liquid spills have remained untouched and need to be cleaned up before any commercial use. (Ref: https://semspub.epa.gov/work/05/928995.pdf)
