A middle school called Hayes Middle School located in Youngstown, Ohio is slated to be razed. Demolition is still pending. The middle school sits abandoned and unused for now. Youngstown City School District closed the school in 2010 due to low enrollment and as part of their 2011 restructuring. District officials shut down this middle school to save on savings.
