Kerri Chandler’s Night Time EP is one of the many EPs that slipped away from the public eye during the end of the 2nd millennium. This EP is one of Kerri Chandler’s electronic deep house releases that did not receive hardly any media attention or any reviews from music critics. Kerri experiments with many genres such as Latin and electronic music on this EP. It’s not the just the standard electronic music as is the case with many of his releases.
No More Sun is driven by heavy congas, a marimba, techno beats, heavy bass, synths, and some good old finger snapping. No More Sun samples Rinder & Lewis - Anger. The sample, heavy congas, techno beats, and finger snapping are what stand out on the song. The song is an instrumental.
Kerri was inspired by Latin music when he wrote Latin Love Affair. That is why you hear such beautiful tribal beats and a loud grand piano in the background. The song is driven and backed by tribal beats, a flute, a loud grand piano, diluted electric bass. All 4 instrument layers stand out due to the loudness from the volume setting. Kerri is a genius when choosing the right instruments for certain genre of music. Shuu Hirose mixed the song. Latin music lovers will love the song Latin Love Affair. The song is an instrumental.
Monster Under My Bed is a deep house drive electronic song.
I rate this EP 5/5*****!!
