Vallejo - Rock Americano album review

Vallejo - Rock Americano was a compilation album released in 2005 to keep fans satisfied and hold them over until the Blood Is Thicker Than Water album was completed and ready to be released. Now this album has songs that were previously released on their albums pre-2008. Rock Americano was another one of their digital only releases that was a digital download to Amazon, Spotify, and their own website. The sounds of Latin rock meet alternative rock and hard edge rock.

Hola bienvenidos! This song is an invitation to the new Spanish Classico sound by Vallejo. So come on down and let Vallejo take you there into the new millennium. Latin meets rock music on Classico creating a Latin rock fusion. Live instrumentation accompanied the Latin rock song with Vallejo using a mix of the Spanish and English language on Classico. Classico was their hit single for 2000. The song was also included on their 1998 album Beautiful Life and 2000 album Into The New

It was the Vallejo anthem of 2000 for the Vallejo band especially the Spanish version of this song which they would play at their live concerts in the early 2000s. Classico was a hit when Vallejo performed that song during their live concerts. Many fans instantly fell in love with that song afterwords.

Vallejo takes into the new and out with the old on the song Into The New. It's into the new and out with the old for Vallejo on this song! What Vallejo did on this album was take us into the millennium with this new song.

Into The New beings with the old fashioned dialup sounds of a modem connecting to AOL which represents symbolism of taking us into the new millennium of the 2000s. The very beginning is symbolic. Vallejo rocked the world by taking us on their mission through a journey of Latin rock music. No matter what, Vallejo will surely take us there. Wherever they want to go.

Take A Ride has both elements of funk, rock, and blues a sultry feel to the latin rhythms. The song Take A Ride is the album’s intro. The party is on with Vallejo as they take a ride downtown. The acoustics and instrumentation are perfect.

Downtown has both elements of funk, rock, and blues with a sultry feel to the latin rhythms. The party is on with Vallejo as they take a ride downtown.

Rock Americano is a Latin rock crossover song by Vallejo. It’s one of those songs you will want to hear live. Rock Americano is another song that has the element of rock and funk with a sultry feel to the latin rhythms. Take notice of the percussion selection used. This song is just fun and you will love it!

Vices is a song that has a dark vibe and mood to it with a rock rhythm. Vices is an original composition written by the Vallejo band.

Just Another Day was an instant hit which caught fire on local radio station KLBJ in Texas and eventually the US. Texas fell in love with the song Just Another Day. Just Another Day is similar to the raw raunchy Latin rock sound of Santana. Just Another Day was the single that became an instant hit. Their first single Just Another Day reached #30 on the Billboard Alternative Rock charts.

Boogie Man is a hard rock song with all hard rock energy. You can feel the intensity and energy in style with this hard rock song. Boogie Man does get startling at times. Honestly Boogie Man should have became an instant hit for the Vallejo band.

The Vallejo band does an excellent job covering Wall of Voodoo - Mexican Radio on the track Mexican Radio. They use the sound of Latin rock to give the song a more modernized feel to it. It’s a mixture of Spanish rock and Latin rock. The sound is so fresh and updated! Mexican Radio is the highlight track and best track off of the album. This is the bonus track for the Stereo album.

Mandala - Remixperience EP EP review

Mandala - Remixperience EP is a hard trance laced electronic EP that is a remix EP hence the title “Remixperience”. World music meets electronic music on his EP. The 90s was a truly fantastic era for trance.

This remix of Acidney called Acidney (Cores Remix) has a Caribbean feel due to the rippling steel drums used. You can feel the Caribbean inside of this song. Acidney is an acid house/trance tribute to the city of Sydney, Australia. Acidney. You have ‘acid’ and Sydney. Take away the ’Syd’ from “Sydney”, add “Acid” next to ney, and the result is Acidney.

Mandala is a genius when it comes to composing and producing trance music. Acidney uses 909 beats over RZ-1 machine. A bit of techno is used also. Acidney is similar to a song from apex twin.

Mandala ‎was inspired by the sounds of Australia when he recorded Acidney back in 1994. In this case, he was inspired by the city of Sydney, Australia. Mandala himself wanted to pay respect and tribute to the city by recording an acid house/trance song. This song was included on the 1994 EP Mandala - Australia.

Encore (Brainstorm Remix) uses some hard electronically processed 303 beats throughout the song. The end is where the beats and synths start to slow down. Nevertheless Mandala does a beautiful job arranging the instrumentation and producing. The 90s was a truly fantastic era for trance.

Mandala - Australia EP review

Mandala ‎was inspired by the sounds of Australia when he recorded the Australia EP back in 1994. Aboriginal styled percussion selection and drums are used on songs such as Astralia, Meltburn, and Acidney. He mixed electronic music and world music on this EP.

Many of the songs on this EP use a 140 BPM on average. Mandala seemed to be fixated on the 140 BPM setting for some reason. He used 909 beats from an RZ-1 machine on songs such as Acidney and Meltburn.

People say the best electronic music comes from Germany. That is true because Noom Records puts out the best in German trance music. Mandala brings out the best in German electronic music as well. The 90s was a truly fantastic era for trance and acid house altogether.

Astralia is said to be one of the best rave tunes in German music. The song uses a fast tempo of 160 BPM. Mandala arranged the synths in a melodic fashion. Listen to the song during the 3:18 mark. Notice how this song uses some killer acid lines. This song is one of the best songs from this recording.

Meltburn uses an Aboriginal styled percussion selection over a set of electronic beats. The bass lines fit in perfectly in sync with the synths. Aboriginal styled percussion follow the beats which follow a trance rhythm. Meltburn is a very fast trance song which uses a tempo of 140 BPM.

Mandala ‎was inspired by the sounds of Australia when he recorded Meltburn back in 1994. In this case, he was inspired by the city of Melbourne, Australia after visiting.

Acidney is an acid house/trance tribute to the city of Sydney, Australia. Mandala himself wanted to pay respect and tribute to the city by recording an acid house/trance song called Acidney. You have ‘acid’ and Sydney. Take away the ’Syd’ from “Sydney”, add “Acid” next to ney, and the result is Acidney.

Mandala is a genius when it comes to composing and producing trance music. Acidney uses 909 beats over an RZ-1 machine. A bit of techno is used also. Acidney is similar to a song from apex twin.

Mandala ‎was inspired by the sounds of Australia when he recorded Acidney back in 1994. In this case, he was inspired by the city of Sydney, Australia after visiting for a trip. Mandala himself wanted to pay respect and tribute to the city by recording an acid trance song called Acidney. That’s exactly what he did with this song.

Astralia (Remix) is a cool remix of one of the best rave tunes ever! Mandala arranged the synths in a melodic fashion. Listen to the song during the 3:18 mark. The song uses a fast tempo of 160 BPM.

Now the remix is different from the original version because there are no acid lines present and this remix leans more towards a trance sound. The sound had shifted towards something much different than his usual acid sound.

Skeezoid ‎– Acid Breaks single review

Skeezoid ‎– Acid Breaks is a single full of breakbeats and repeated vocal samples over acid styled house music over heavy beats. This whole is electronically processed and filtered. Most of the songs are repetitive loops though however. Nearly all of these songs are instrumentals. The single is a perfect tool for DJ’s to play at a rave or a club.

Gimmie Some More is perfect for a night club due to the rave sound that is incorporated. A handful of vocal samples are sprinkled over the song in various places. Some of the vocal samples are very orgasmic.

Make Some Noise is an upbeat electronic song which uses distorted electronic bass over a barrage of electronically filtered beats from a machine. What the bass lacks is a reverb because a delay filer has been used. Make Some Noise is another song perfect for a night club or the dance floor. You can feel the intensity on this song.

Tweet - Love, Tweet Advance Music Sampler album review

The Tweet - Love, Tweet Advance Music Sampler was issued on CDr in 2008 to promote her then upcoming album Love, Tweet. Most of the songs are snippets. Here Love, Tweet takes new direction in musical sound. The album has more of a sultry neo-soul sound with a raunchy Atlanta sound. Tweet wanted to use the Atlanta sound on this album. (Most of the Love, Tweet album was recorded in Atlanta, Georgia, US.) This album was much different from It’s Me Again. It's still in-your-face lyrics and it's still good soul music.

The production is sultry smooth in vocals. The production style reminds of the Southern Hummingbird day of 2002. Tweet needs to get back to that Southern Hummingbird sound with Timbaland producing the beats. Yes, the absence of Timbaland shows on this album. The only contributions missing from this album are the major presence of Missy Elliott and Timbaland. (With their production sound of course.)

The album title for Love Tweet was just from her signature as if she was writing a letter or writing an autograph. She really couldn't come up with nothing creative for the title. “So I just titled it, Love Tweet. So, it's nothing significant, just, you know, giving back to the fans that I've been there, you know, from the beginning.”

Love, Tweet got shelved due lack of interest from distributors, leaks, business mergers, and lack of charting singles.Mainly internet leaks which killed this albums chance of ever seeing the light of day. And, of course, label mergers from bad corporate moves from the powers that be. The Love, Tweet album sampler had probably less than 500 physical pressings done before it all went to the digital download market.

Umbrella Recordings dropped the ball on Tweet by not promoting this album properly. They failed to do so at every aspect and every given chance. They should have just released the album regardless of anything. Due to marketing, online leaks, emotions, and creative differences, Love, Tweet was shelved and leaked online. Which is probably why Love, Tweet was/is only released on promo only CD-r back around 2008. You see Tweet admitted that no distributors were there to take on and distribute her Love, Tweet album. No distributors were available at the time to distribute her Love, Tweet album as she had planned or desired.

Tweet should have not leaked the materials from Love, Tweet and Simply Tweet. That way it would have gotten more fans to appreciate her music. She knew what she was getting herself into when she leaked her songs from Love, Tweet. That's why her songs from the Love, Tweet album was leaked onto her website for her fans to download for free in 2008.

As for distributors, Tweet should have went to E1, City Hall, CNR, CDBaby, Fontana, or Clout. Don't know why she didn't do that. Umbrella Recordings was not a good label for her. I don't see Grand Hustle as an option either. Tweet should have went to Truth & Soul Records as Nicole Wray did in 2010. Truth & Soul benefits well.

My Dear has that Atlanta sound. My Dear has the Atlanta sound. T.I. influenced Tweet to add the Atlanta sound to the song My Dear. Tweet instantly fell in love with the Atlanta sound after being inspired by T.I. to do so.

My Dear is a virtuoso upbeat song similar to a modern love ballad. T.I. did a good job rapping on this song. Marz had produced this. T.I. self-produced the song. My Dear is definitely single material appropriate for this album. It's really weird too. It is also similar to Lil Sin's Who Got Yo Back track from 1998. I really like it a whole lot.

The song My Dear was originally recorded by Ciara and T.I. in 2007 for the T.I. vs. T.I.P. album.  According to T.I., the track was not approved by Ciara’s record label so it did not make T.I. vs. T.I.P. as originally intended or as planned. It’s a song falls into the "unreleased for a reason" pile. In the music industry, it’s a well known fact for songs to be recycled when the original artist does not use it.

Them There Eyes is an upbeat swing jazz. The trumpets and saxophones did a superb job at the very end of Them There Eyes. It is her best jazz accompaniment ever recorded with piano phrasing and note selection. Its sound has an upbeat vibe quite similar to upbeat jazz. What comes to mind is the great Claude Hopkins and Nat Cole.

Tweet fell in love with them there eyes. Tweet noticed them there eyes of yours staring at her. It's about flirting and being in love. Tweet is a true gift to all the men out there presently. Them there eyes will get you into a whole lot of trouble.

Anymore is an upbeat 2000s neo-soul song about her boyfriend coming back into her life. It's instrumentation is perfect. Killer sound effect scratches on the vinyl in the background. Tweet is an excellent talent and very underrated.

It's been a while since Tweet and her boyfriend dated so they want get reacquainted. Tweet never anticipated that this would happen or occur if her boyfriend treated so nice. It's like she doesn't know him anymore. Her boyfriend left her hanging previously. Is this a game he’s playing? Would he decide to change? Tweet will have to think about her decision. Tweet is a true gift to him.

Tweet makes the chorus hook catchy by repetitive lyrics. She is one of the few artists that can sing repetitive lyrics without making the song annoying. Her singing is what makes the chorus hook catchy. Read the verses to chorus hook below.:

It’s like I don’t know you
It’s like I don’t know you
Anymore
Anymore
Anymore

Remedy was a better upbeat song. It reminded me of Nicole Wray's Destination from 2004. The song Remedy sounds a bit like Unappreciated by female pop group Cherish. It's perfect for a snowy day at the mall or outside. The words will resonate with you.

Tweet notices that you’ve been hurt and you’ve been broken down emotionally. You don’t wanna let it go again. Or give in. Your heart is closed in. Now Tweet is in the picture wanting you to trust her. The love Tweet has for you is so divine. Tweet is the remedy that you need. She is the remedy.

Real Lady is a heartfelt song from the soul of Tweet. The beats are processed in a smooth manner and not hard. Real Lady is another song about love yet again. This song is the truth.

Tweets been waiting a long time for someone to bring her joy. Attractions and looks brings the worst people knocking on her door. She wants someone just like her. Tweet needs a man. Then, Tweet explains the instructions on how to take care of a real lady. Tweet wants something genuine from the heart. Tweet describes herself as a “diamond in the rough”.

Everything has that new school neo-soul sound mixed with new school rap sound. The beats have that new 2000s rap sound to them. A featured artist such as T.I. or somebody else would be perfect to guest star on. Tweet is all you need.

Cruisin' is a road travel song. A traveling song to put it basically. Think about doing 80 mph down the highway on the countryside. It's another song that is choice material for a single! Cruisin' is definitely single material appropriate for this album.

Here Tweet is crusing down the highway doing about 80 mph. She lets the radio blast. Tweet thinks about all the things her man has done to her. She just wants to get away from all the pain. She don’t know that to do with him. All the love they had is through.

Anymore (Reprise) is an instrumental of Anymore.

5/5*****!!
