Swift - It Ain’t Safe No More album review

Swift - It Ain’t Safe No More is a swift, smooth, suave rap album from Austin, Texas that got overlooked during the rise of Southern rap in 2001. Swift takes each track by storm as he performs his raps. Each song on this album is produced in the style of club music produced by the legendary Carnival Beats. You can never go wrong when you have an album produced by Carnival Beats because each song is going to be a banger no doubt. Guest artists include Dynomite, MC Fatal, and Salih Williams.

Swift be dropping rhymes so quickly on the opener Swiftly. The beats were produced by Carnival Beats. The song serves as the Austin answer to Outkast - So Fresh, So Clean. That is no coincidence as Swift copies André 3000’s style of fast rap. Now the beats and flute are what stand out about this song. Swift be dropping rhymes so quickly and swiftly.

Walk In The Club is a club music oriented rap track suited for the club. Swift talks about how ladies show him love when he walks in the club.

Swift just got off work and he’s tired than a muthafucka. So it’s time to hit the club. A party is going on the floor. He’s feeling the night is his. Sipping the finest of wine. There are plenty of dime pieces everywhere. The club is packed. The parking lot is packed to the point where there is no available parking space. Boppas show Swift love when he walks in the club. The afterparty is here.

When Swift transforms from Transformers to Sliver Stranger, haters are in danger. He is a rap singer who is unique. So hold your plex. Ya’ll know the deal.

Salih Williams of Carnival Beats put a zydeco twist on the song Bounce by adding an accordion to the mix. The song has a swamp boogie vibe. That is what stands out about Bounce.

Herbal Smoke is the weed smokers joint dedicated to all the budheads. Perfect for all you weed smokers and budheads. What else needs to be said other than that?

Swift is blowing on herbal smoke. Whenever he blows herbal smoke, his problems go away. However there is too much deception in his brain from all that THC. Don’t get this shit twisted as this can happen to you too. Some smoke to pass the time. Some smoke to make their problems go away.

Herbal Smoke uses that club music sound.

The Pole is a song perfect for the strip club as the song gets into detail about Swift’s sexy encounter with a stripper. Salih Williams of Carnival Beats sings the hooks and leads.

Radio personality White Brotha of KAZI FM 88.7 serves as the announcer at the very beginning of this song. He gives the song a lively presence.

Here is what is said at the very beginning of the song: Hello, This is White Brotha. Welcome to Club Carnival. The hottest spot for all your erotic fantasies. And coming to center stage right now is our main dancer, the reason why you came to the club and the reason why all of your dicks are gonna stay hard. That’s right. Introducing the one and only black queen that calls herself Tittilicious. That’s right. Watch her ride that pole like she’s getting ready to cum on herself. Look at her.

She twerks it and works it as she rides that stripper pole. She slides down to the center stage floor. Making all that cash with wonderful tricks. All she wants is the pole and no dick. She lets that body roll.

This stripper is a star on the stage. She likes to go all out. She’s got a college degree. So she’s no fool. The  only reason she is stripper is so that she can financially support herself through school. Swift tells her, “Bullshit. Be proud of what you do. You’re good at what you do.”

This stripper wears a tight outfit as she performs on stage. The spotlights shine bright onstage. People are in a daze as they stare and gaze. She goes all out she dips her ass down that pole. Just like a professional. She twerks her ass in a gyrating motion on a stripper pole as she lets her body roll. Then she drops down to the floor. She shakes her breasts.

The production on Can’t Stand Me is mediocre compared to all the other songs on this album. The muffled violins notes play through a filter where the treble has been reduced significantly and the horns selections overlaps the vocals.

The Come On Down skit is another song that uses the accordion and has that zydeco flavor. Salih put a zydeco twist on the song with the accordion and hand claps. Juneteenth is celebrated throughout this skit. Swift and Salih show love.

Cin-A-Mon - Tople$$ album review

Cin-A-Mon - Tople$$ is a spicy dish of rap music with that Dirty South flavor produced by ATV Recordz in-house producer Madd Creole. Austin rap can’t get any better than this. Cin-A-Mon can be described as the Hispanic Lil Kim. The album includes the underground classics Top Notch Freak, Lowrider Swangin, We Don’t Care, Sweet Thang, Tople$$, and Fuck U Hatas.

Lowrider Swangin is an underground classic in Austin rap. The song is an ode to lowriders. Car lovers and gear heads will love this song. Don’t those Hondas look good? Coming through 3 wheeling with the hydraulics switch turned on. Lowrider swangin.

Fuck U Hatas is the raunchy packed rap song serving as a “fuck you” to all the haters out there who are envious and jealous of Cin-A-Mon.

Cin-A-Mon sings an updated rendition of Chaka Khan - Sweet Thing on Sweet Thang. The synths are extra thick and loud. Madd Creole was killing those synths in the 2000s era.

Cin-A-Mon describes herself as a top notch freak on Top Notch Freak. The synths and beats are all over the place. Madd Creole was killing those synths in the 2000s era.

Cin-A-Mon is a Grade A top notch freak. She is the type of bitch your momma doesn’t want to meet. She’ll put you in a trance and take you there. To show you why your momma always said beware. She’ll be fuckin’ all night long. She is single.

Tople$$ is another underground classic in Austin rap. The song is a representation of how there is no limit to what you can achieve and accomplish. There is so much you can do in this world. Tople$$ samples Club Nouveau - Why You Treat Me So Bad.

Cin-A-Mon stays topless just to make ends meet as a stripper. She throws in many different style but she stays on beat. She can go many miles. Her plans are to take things to the top level. You can’t top this. No matter how hard you try, you won’t reach her level. Cin-A-Mon is on another level and can’t be stopped. She is too hot to handle. Some people call her heartless because she shows no love.

Buttabean - The Album album review

Buttabean - The Album has a more mellow, chill, laid back vibe to it than an aggressive country rap sound he normally utilizes as on his other albums. He showcases his sexual side with use of sex rap in songs such as Shake It Girl, Dirty Slut, Talk To Me, Move Ur Body, I Ain’t A Ho, It Feels So Good, and STD. He gets into an intellectual mood with songs Sticks & Stones, STD, and Talk To Me.

Buttabean is Texas rap, white boy rap, and country rap at its finest. Buttabean is the Bubba Sparxxx and Z-Ro of Waco rap. The sound will rock your speakers. Buttabean’s music has the lyrical genius of Eminem, with the melodic tone of Z-Ro, and prowess of Paul Wall. This album is Eminem, Kid Rock, Bubba Sparxxx, Z-Ro, and Paul Wall mixed together with some more gangsta type of flow, which is what’s used on this 2007 album. There’s something for everyone on this album of his. This album is and remains one of Buttabean’s most forgotten overlooked albums of all time. It’s well a worth to listen to.

You have you educational songs such as The Bad Son, Sticks And Stones, and STD. Sticks And Stones is an educational rap song about how sticks and stones will break your bones but words will never hurt you. The Bad Son teaches us that everyone has hardships, things in their life that make them who they are, and have struggles. STD deals with dangers of unprotected sex.

Buttabean’s The Album is an older album of his which didn’t sell as well as Psycho Therapy, Underground Champ, Role Model, or Texas Slang did. Which is why Buttabean believes this is his best album of 2007 and it meant a great deal to him to have recorded The Album.

The Album was released on CD and as a digital download in 2007 from Wreckin The Mic Recordz outta Waco, Texas. The Album was sold primarily on CDBaby and DatPiff. The Album was streamed as digital download on DatPiff too. This album remained off the digital radar for the most part.

Sticks And Stones is an educational rap song about how sticks and stones will break your bones but words will never hurt you. “Sticks and stones will break your bones but words will never hurt you.” is the message Buttabean is trying to convey.

You know the old sayings, “Sticks and stones will break your bones but words will never hurt you.” ,  “Sticks and stones will break my bones but names will never hurt me.” , “Sticks and stones will break my bones your words will never hurt me.”, “Sticks and stones may break my bones your words will never hurt me.” , and “Sticks and stones will break my bones but words will never hurt me.” .

The song Sticks And Stones had the melodic tone of a Z-Ro song and has an intellectual mood. Now the beats are set up and programmed in a simple manner. Not that many beats were used.

The Bad Son teaches us that everyone has hardships, things in their life that make them who they are, and have struggles. The song has a sad heartbreaking vibe due to the piano that is used. This song is also Buttabean’s life story. A small anecdote of his life and the soundtrack to his life. He breaks every little aspect of his life into detail. The Bad Son came from the 2007 album Buttabean - The Album.

Buttabean tells us this educational fact at the very beginning of this song. “Everyone has hardships, things in their life that make them who they are. Some people take these things for granted. Live life to the fullest.”

This is Buttabean’s life story. Buttabean was born September 11, 1978. Sometimes he wishes it was his date of death. He was born a dysfunctional child into a dysfunctional family. He didn’t understand why. His father said he was way too wild. A fat little kid. Angry at the world so he fed his face. Not to mention the lack of attention from his parents and peers. He got bad grades. Then the attention was given at the swing of a hand. That taught him to be his own man. So he robbed the old and young.

Now he works hard to show what he’s worth. People hate like he’s better off in church. He is trying to see some type of life that he can possibly salvage. Most people need love but Buttabean can live without that. His mind is crowded with fear as he feels his time is coming. The Grim Reaper is on his trail. His lifespan shortens every time he ends up in jail. Hell hath no fury. Life may not be worth much but he knows it’s worth living.

Remember Them Days reminds me of Gonna Be Alright by San Antonio rap group P.K.O. That’s what the ballad sounds like in that song except this version is an acoustic cover of The Floaters - Float On which is what Remember Them Days samples. Buttabean delves into the past from childhood on this song of his. Remember Them Days was written in 2006. This song came from the 2007 album Buttabean - The Album.

Buttabean remembers them days where he would float away. Things wouldn’t be the same. If he never did crime or got in this game. He tried to change as a boy as he grew into a man. Buttabean did that by himself without a helping hand. But a few people that he knew helped him through the struggle. They helped him through the struggles of life. He never understood what it took to teach him right from wrong. He thanked those who helped him for everything.

His father told him no man could do it but himself. That was his father’s way of teaching him to be self-sufficient. His father says, “If you want to make money quit helping yourself. Other people work hard just to pay the bills. And if you keep it up, you might wind up killed.”

Buttabean was a hardheaded boy who wanted a good life. He put the pen to the paper. That is when and where he became a rapper.

Buttabean remembers the days of the past where him and his brothers were acting an ass. They were acting up, skipping school, and getting into trouble. His brothers wanted pass school though.

Buttabean did not like school. He did not try and did not apply himself. He was already into a life of crime at an early age. He put the pen to the paper and mixed rock music with rap. That is when and where he became a rapper.

His older brother was a smart guy full of knowledge. That’s the reason he was off to college to further his education. Buttabean has it like him but he chose to use his knowledge in his music instead. That is the message in some of his music.

His little sister was the shit. She could never do wrong or do no harm. She’s been fucked in the head for a little bit too long. By drugs of course. Buttabean tells his little sister that she is too strong to live her life with no goals. There is no one to blame for the road she chose.

Life was simple as a kid. Buttabean remembers no worries or pain. He never knew as a child that this world world change. These days are so rough. There is no love or comfort. Kids with guns and hate.

I Never Asked For This is about how Buttabean never asked for this life and things are the way they are.

Buttabean never asked for this life. It’s just the way that it is. He never imagined that this pain would happen. Buttabean contemplates on how he could live a normal life and let his “Buttabean persona” fade away by giving up rapping. He could let his dreams fall apart and raise a family. Trade in his Mercedes Benz and roll in a Camry instead. He could get a real job. He’s not selling out by selling his soul. He gets what he wants by working hard and going for the gold. Buttabean’s not giving up.

What keeps Buttabean alive is the thought of success. He plans to give his momma a big house and his girl a nice dress. All the stress pent up from all the years of living life while swallowing his pride. That just brings him to tears. That’s why he has been fighting this life. He is a man with glory searching for a dream.

Hypothetically he could sell drugs and give up on recording music. He is well aware of this. The thought of cash easily influences him. But sadly money never lasts. You know they say fast money never lasts for too long. Buttabean never asked for this life. It’s just the way that it is. He never imagined all this. He just goes through with all it.

It’s so hard to tell the real from the fake. Buttabean has to be rude as he has a point to make. He could do more shows and concerts for publicity. Buttabean is new to the music game. He never asked for this life but he lives it well. He just goes through all it.

STD is a cautionary tale of why to avoid getting an STD. Buttabean uses his own experience of how he got an STD on the song STD. Having unprotected sex is what gave Buttabean an STD. Now for those who did not know or are currently aware of, an STD is a sexually transmitted disease. People get STD’s from having unprotected sex. STDs can cause death.

Dirty Slut can be noted for its usage of heavy bass and solo violin ensemble. It’s both the usage of heavy bass and solo violin ensemble that stand out the most. Shake It is a great song to dance to. It is perfect.

It Feels So Good is known for its mixing and turntablism. The DJ uses some killer cuts on this song. The song explores the pleasures and joys of having sexual intercourse. It Feels So Good came from his 2005 album called Texas Slang.

I'd Rather Feel Pain is about learning harder lessons in life. His music is an expression of lessons in life. I'd Rather Feel Pain is a sad dark song that teaches us a lesson in life. Sometimes you’d rather feel pain than guilt. Feeling pain is a hard lesson in life we must fathom.

Mixed Emotionz album review

Mixed Emotionz was a hip hop/rap group that got lost in the slew of gangsta rap of the 90s. Mixed Emotionz uses the elements of hip hop, rap, and jazz on their self-titled demo album. You have the jazzy boom bap over hardcore lyricism. What’s different about this album is this album was not so hyper focused on gangsta rap as many hip hop/rap groups from Flint, Michigan were at that time.

Now these songs were recorded between 1994-1997 with a majority of the songs being recorded in 1996. The demo was produced by Moodswang. Their self-titled demo album has 8 songs. Some versions of this cassette differ. Some versions were written in black Sharpie marker.

Mixed Emotionz was D-Reck, ICE, D Wood, Moodswang, Mz. Nasty, and Teiko. D-Reck was a dope MC. ICE was a dope MC. So was Mz. Nasty. They often performed at the Merrill Talent Show at Merrill School (Merrill Elementary School). What motivated them was hip hop.

The Intro is filled with that wicked shit from that one and only Mixed Emotionz clique. That wickedness with many different styles and techniques. If that wicked shit don’t hit you, then this shit will. Mixed Emotionz with a scope of a view to kill. The song uses a crushed saxophone sample giving this intro a jazzy boom bap vibe mixed with lyrical rap.

U Ain't Hustla is aimed at the pretenders and fakers trying to be something they are really not. The song calls them out for not being really hustlers. U ain't hustla until you’ve got your hustle on. U Ain't Hustla is quite eerie and haunting due to the whistles and due to the way which those keys are arranged with those musical notes. The song has that Thug Life vibe and sound. U Ain't Hustla is one example of gangsta rap as this song was written from the hustler’s mindset.

ICE says, “U ain't hustla until you’ve got your hustle on.” All of his lyrics were written from the perspective of a hustler’s mindset. Hustlers do whatever to earn money.

Mz. Nasty says if your money ain’t right, you ain’t tight. She’ll go up in a blaze if she has to. She’ll kill if she has to. Now she’s got you bobbin’ to this wicked azz kimistry. None of ya’ll hoes can get with Mz. Nasty. Marijuana keeps her high and blew back. I thought you knew that. Hardcore gangstas (g’s) roam the Flint streets at night. You can’t see her like a genie when she is doing driveby’s. She also robs people for their riches. Those drug fiends keep her rich.

ICE says, “U ain't hustla until you’ve got your hustle on.” Those are the catchy lyrics and hook to this song. All of this was written from the hustler’s mindset.

Here is what the lyrics “I’ve got ya bobbin’ to this wicked azz kimistry” mean. “I’ve got ya bobbin’ to this wicked azz kimistry” is reference to the 1993 debut album by Variety of Sinz called Wicked AZZ Kimistry that was released on cassette.

Saturday Nights is about how Saturday nights go down in Flint, Michigan. Clubbing while engaging in social interaction is what ICE does in the song. Saturday Nights is an ICE solo which also the best song off the album. The high pitched eerie synths give off a gangsta rap vibe and the beats give away a boom bap sound. This song is the best solo song from ICE of all time.

The song takes place creeping though the commercial strip of Clio Road where several businesses are located. ICE is the space age pimp that has got your attention smoking on that Mary Jane. Peeping out the hoes on Clio Road. Hoes show him love at the strip club although they really want his money. ICE is the #1 nigga in the hood. DJ’s and big ballers got him tripping over the way they love his rap style. The Flint streets are hyped and crowded during Saturday nights. New ways and old tactics get a nigga laid. The fast life is what how he’s living.

He goes straight back to Clio Road after hitting the club and engaging in social interaction. Music by Freak Nasty is what’s on his mind. Mixed Emotionz is blowing up the spot that’s hot. They kick rhymes that are just like ICE’s. Life gets a bit better. He wishes he could become the #1 MC.

Wanna Be A G Like Me is one of the more gangsta rap tracks on the album filled with hyper masculinity and over the top lyrics. The song is similar to a song from The Dayton Family or Raw Deal. Mz. Nasty is all over the song too.  Big G of MOSS is one of the guest artist on this song.

Wake up. Feel the blast of Mz. Nasty’s .380! She breaks it down throwing gang signs and drivebys. So come and meet your doom. That’s freak nasty. The weed she puffs is lye. Hardcore love comes from the streets of Bedrock in Flint.

Mz. Nasty is throwing bodies in Devils Lake after doing drivebys. You better believe these bodies are dead bodies of the victims she killed during those drivebys. The level she takes you through is like voodoo. That’s no bullshit. She is relentless and realistic with her shit. Drivebys are her favorite crime to commit. She represents Sonny Avenue & Lawndale Avenue in Merrill Hood.

Big G of MOSS says Flint is the shit and not to be fucked. That is factual because Flint niggaz don’t play.  Flint niggaz are real niggaz.

ICE is next. Be scared at night because there are drivebys. Niggaz from the Ave are known not to slip. Flint niggaz are real niggaz.  ICE is known for slanging thangs out in Merrill Hood. He hears about some funk popping off on Lawndale Avenue. His pager is blowing up as there are bitches getting fucked there. Ballers are fucking bitches there.

Some of the over the top lyrics to this song are “Things keep me tight/Wet dreams the other side of me/You can always see me/“ are a giveaway of explicit lyrics.

Mixed Emotionz gave King Hood Cykoz a shout out during the song. The lyrics “It’s the King Hood Cykoz down on 9th Ave” are a shout out to King Hood Cykoz which ICE gave. Despite Merrill Hood being Blood territory and King Hood being Gangsta Disciples territory, Mixed Emotionz was down with King Hood Cykoz.

Murda Ride is another one of ICE’s best solo tracks in existence. So pump up your stereo as he graces your speakers with lyrical heat. The song is about flexing in the finest cars. This song is sort of similar to psychedelic funk such as Parliament-Funk, George Clinton, Ohio Players, Zapp, New Horizons, and Roger Troutman.

This shit ain’t gonna stop. So pump up your stereo. Do you smoke trees? Do your whole crew pack heat? His does. ICE is just out to make the world rock. Does his music make you groove too? Murda Ride is all about money. So just sit back and smoke one. He’s gotta feeling he’s gonna make money with his music and his ride. It’s all about the murda ride. Something for you to flex to. Don’t stop. Especially if you are in your vehicle and you’re riding high.

A murda ride is sort of similar to psychedelic funk. Some subliminal type of shit. Something for your stereo. Take a whiff of that Killa ICE type of shit coming straight out of Flint. It’s a never ending battle making speakers rattle. ICE represents the whole Imperial Blew Back family. Killas like Big G from MOSS will break your back.

One Puff with MC Breed, Mz. Nasty, and ICE is the best Mixed Emotionz weed smoking song to chill out to. Roll up a fat blunt and pass it around. Lay back, smoke down to the funky sound.

The weed be hitting so strong. MC Breed wishes his dog would hurry up. He hasn’t made it home yet. Breed waited a long time. So he blows up his phone. He doesn’t answer. He beeped his pager. Breed got beeped back. It must be on. Straight to the dope spot is where MC Breed goes. He stays at the dope spot for the rest of the night. Cannabis and sativa is what he is smoking on. His mind is on the sheeba and shabbu-shabbu.

Channel Zero blew ICE’s mind. It’s the weed up in him. Do not get froze, shocked, or surprised. So let’s all get high. Roll up a fat blunt and pass it around. Lay back, smoke down to the funky sound. It’s the flavor of the month.

D Wood is have dosia and hydro for breakfast. He smokes dosia with a glass of milk. His eyes be flaming like fire. Weed got him so high that it put D Wood on a Bayou jet to where landed and ended up in Flint. Poppa Breeze came through with the trees.

The song Imperial Way is about the finer things in life such as materialistic things and bitches. Imperial Way is laced with boom bap synths and jazzy bass notes. D Wood is on the song.

ICE and D Wood are enjoying the finer things in life such as materialistic things and bitches. That talk about cars. Money gets the best shit. This is for the ballers that go to work too worldwide. They kick rhymes that are out of this world due to their lyrics.

D Wood is getting hella bent and fucked up. He kick rhymes that are out of this world over boom bap synths and jazzy bass notes. So prepare that ass for some real heat.

Buttabean - Bean The Diary of Patrick Lykins album review

Buttabean - Bean The Diary of Patrick Lykins is a compilation album of both old and new songs from Buttabean that were gathered from different albums in his catalog and discography. This compilation album was issued in CD format and came with 2 CDs. CD 1 is filled with new songs that had never been released before prior to 2008. CD 2 is filled with songs from previous albums in his discography and the Wreckin Tha Mic catalog.

The album is filled with stories and tribulations of Buttabean’s life. Most of these songs are based off actual events that happened in his life or happened to him. Welcome to the world of mischief, mayhem, and growth. Hardcore rap songs are included too. There is something for everyone here.

Buttabean calls this country rap album the start of something great. Waco rap has never been any better than this! Welcome to the diary of Patrick Lykins.

I Wouldn’t Shed A Tear is a country rap love song backed by a blues driven electric guitar. The song is a story about a young couple who fell in love for all the wrong reasons. Buttabean schools us on this story.

The song is a story about a young cute female named Karen and a boy named Cory. She always stuck beside him. They were just 2 friends at first. Karen could be a bitch at times. Cory was a punk who lost his mind. He claimed to love her with his heart and soul. When the true came out he was declared a hoe. He tried to run game but that didn’t work out entirely well for him. He never learned his lesson the first time. Baby mama drama is what he had going on and issues with fraud checks. She cooks and cleans just to impress him.

Kim had Cory’s back all along. So he moved in with her. He acted like the man of the house. Domestic abuse happens. He strangled and punched her too. And now he’s crying like a bitch because she ain’t around. This is what she said to him if he was with her in bed, “If you died tonight, I wouldn’t shed a tear. I would be happy that you’re no longer here.”

Everything was looking lovely as things were looking up. Cory had a good job. Kim would make him lunch and call him at his job site. Kim would sit at home. The phone line to his job site was disconnected. The next thing you know he has a brand hoe. He’s rolling in a new car and he didn’t pay off the car note. But the joke is on Kim because she thought she had some good friends. Cory claims to be hard because he’s from New York. Any gun sounds the same in any city you roll or live.

Cory never learned the true meaning of support. Kim’s dad passed away. She smoked 200 Newports while sitting out side crying wishing he was back. Cory’s only concern was getting money. Cory’s quick to run his mouth but not fight.

Sticks And Stones came from the 2007 album Buttabean - The Album.

Dusted Her Off is about Buttabean’s luxury car. Dusted Her Off is driven by lively new school beats and sounds over a looped Fabulous sample. The song definitely has that new school rap sound.

Buttabean just wants to roll in a new luxury car. 24’s on the Escalade is how a true player rides. Don’t touch the candy paint as he dusted that off. His Escalade is looking sweet. A phone is sitting his lap. He is expecting a call from this chick right about now. This chick plays these little games. Buttabean is the best thing for her as he can make her a star. All she has to do is smile as Buttabean sits at the bar. Have her looking fresh when he takes her to the mall.

Buttabean can be seen in this brand new whip on chrome. A cool ass white dude behind dark tint. Rolling up on Bentleys. His brand new whip on chrome is a luxury car. You bet your sweet ass that this is an expensive ride. So don’t be surprised.

You Deserved It is a tale of betrayal based on a true story about Buttabean’s homeboy Duce aka Chris Adams. Duce betrayed Buttabean by sleeping with his woman behind his back and Buttabean finding out later. Buttabean was 17 years old when this happened to him.

The story begins with a young man named Duce. Duce was Buttabean’s best friend and right hand man. Just a scared kid. Chris knew better than to get him pissed. He’s seen Buttabean hurt people for less than this shit. They were supposed to be brothers as they ran with the same click. Chris betrayed his trust. One day he will pay for his actions.

Buttabean was crushed and devastated because Duce was supposed to be his homie. The one person he could trust when he needed help the most. Duce was a true friend that he could come to for help.

Buttabean remembers the time that bitch broke Duce’s heart. The hate was misplaced though. He raped other women that he claimed to be with. He locked Crystal in the trunk for the whole weekend. Buttabean has hurt people just to protect him.

Duce betrayed Buttabean by sleeping with his woman behind his back. Buttabean finds this out eventually. He steps in the front door of his house and didn’t say a word. Chris’s Camaro was sitting outside by the curb. He heard laughs and giggles among other noises going on. As soon as he sees both of them, Buttabean goes to retrieve his 9 millimeter and his sawed off pump. He can’t believe this feeling he has. He can feel the hate.

Buttabean kicked open the door. He shot Chris in the chest 3 times. Maybe 4. He killed him. Buttabean kills Duce because he deserves it. Buttabean is not sorry for his actions as he feels no remorse, guilt, or sorrow for killing Duce. Now he is buried in the ground.

Drives You Crazy deals with every day insanity of how much you give and give to the point where it drives you crazy.  It’s the same thing day in and day out. You wait fo reach day to change yet things still remain the same despite the fact that change is a part of life.

Buttabean doesn’t want to live anymore but he’s not ready to die. Something is wrong with his brain. He got too high. He requests a bottle of gin. His family thought this was a phase. The doctor said Buttabean could change. He is just totally deranged. There is nothing doctors can fix. His life is full of disgust and it drives him crazy. This bugs him extremely.

The line “I don’t want to live anymore but I’m not ready to die” deals with Buttabean’s outlook and perspective on his uncertain feeling about life in existence. He is uncertain about life.

Smile is about getting that person you love to be happy and satisfied. Buttabean gives his example of who he wants to make happy and make smile.

Since the day Buttabean seen her eyes and her beautiful face. Her friends don’t understand that her man is a waste of time and energy. Who could ever take her place? Things are personal now. She is an A1 game dime piece to Buttabean. Other chicks just want dick. But she is satisfied with just Buttabean. He loves the little trips they take out of town. Once they hit the motel with a bottle, then you know it’s going down. Ladies, can your man do it like that?

He wants to see her smile. He’s nothing like her man. Her man is not the right one for her. He is everything she needs. Her friends don’t understand that her man is a waste of time and energy.

Buttabean knew that she was unique from the moment he met her. On the streets she is his lady and at home she is his freak. Her essence is what makes her steelo. Buttabean never had a woman that made him feel like this. All the ladies get pissed and want to take her spot. But that won’t happen. His goal is to make her happy.  Location does not matter.

Buttabean will never let her down. He sees potential in her. She has real potential to be his down ass chick. Enough to cont the stacks he makes and ride in his brand new whip. Let the haters get sick. That don’t matter. He just wants to see her smile. He ain’t nothing like her man.

I Just Want Some Ass is about Buttabean’s quest for some rear end both figuratively and literally. The beat is as fresh as a brand new Chevy Camaro riding in a car commercial. The song can still fresh today as it was back in 2008.

Since the first time Buttabean seen her, he fell in love with her demeanor. He really does need her. She could be his señorita or caramel queen. She could be a preppy school girl walking in tight jeans. It seems she never trusted him all that much. People talk behind her back and call her a slut. She slept with plenty of other guys who didn’t know her. He protects her. He’s around for the good stuff but doesn’t understand everything else.

Buttabean doesn’t really love her or like her. He just wants some ass. Badly.

He would fuck her but yes scared of getting an STD. She finds out that Buttabean is a bad guy as time goes by. She can act real tough and pretend all day that she never gave a damn. But we all know she really cares. All Buttabean wanted was to make her smile. That other guy she is having sex is a stupid motherfucker who she should not be giving it up to. He’s down for her because she is one cool ass broad. She tried to play a player like Buttabean.

I Never Asked For This is about how Buttabean never asked for this life and things are the way they are. I Never Asked For This came from his 2008 album/mixtape Texas Slang Reloaded.

He never knew as a child that this world would change. These days are so rough. There is no love or comfort. Kids with guns and hate.

Jail hath no fury. Hell hath no fury. Life may not be worth much but he knows it’s worth living.

Keep Your Eyes Open has a chilling vibe due to the viola selection and shakers used. The song teaches men to be aware and keep their eyes open on untrustworthy females.

She says he can trust her. But Buttabean doesn’t think that he can. She wants all his love. She should get the back of his hand for showing disrespect. He let all those other hoes go. Buttabean doesn’t need the drama. He’s sweet as a Jolly Rancher but he’s mean to her. There’s such a thin line between love and hate. Clearly her motives are fake. She was just after his money. Buttabean makes it clear to her she ain’t getting a fucking dime. Love will make you blind but Buttabean has seen the light.

Keep your eyes open. Don’t trust a soul. Keep moving.

Buttabean wonders if he can make it in this life. Can he handle life alone? He has his eyes open. He doesn’t trust a hoe.

She doesn’t care about the despair, pain, and anguish Buttabean has been through all while dealing with her ass. Buttabean is sick of fake bitches. It’s time for a change. It’s a hard thing to two because he cares for her. He can only say goodbye. So it’s fair for her. Buttabean makes it clear to her that she’s a waste of time. A man’s lost cause.  Most relationships are pure but not theirs. He was warned about her. But little did he know she had the talent to deceive.

It Feels So Good is known for its mixing and turntablism. The DJ uses some killer cuts on this song. The song explores the pleasures and joys of having sexual intercourse. It Feels So Good came from the 2005 album called Texas Slang.

Missing You More is a guitar driven country rap tune about missing that person you love more as each day goes on by.

I Never Wanted To Let Go deals not being able to let go of that person you love or once loved. You never wanted that person to leave or let go. You’re afraid of letting go because you don’t know if they will come back into your life. You are met with uncertainty. The pain is unfathomable to hold.

5/5*****!!
