Harmon Eyes – Iodine Sky EP EP review
Harmon Eyes – Iodine Sky EP uses that classic trance sound with those techno pads and intense electronic patterns, and high quality beats. The individual sound of trance is what stands out about this EP. Harmon Eyes – Iodine Sky EP is a unique Swedish trance EP which was released in 1994 from the underground techno label Loop Records from Stockholm, Sweden. All tracks recorded for this EP were written and produced at the Globe Studio Stockholm in Stockholm, Sweden. Who knew that Sweden could produce such beautiful trance? Such trance is pure perfection.
Pattern Propulsion uses such cold yet intense electronic patterns and techno pads. The song uses an upbeat rhythm as well. Now Pattern Propulsion is one classic retro techno track. Pattern Propulsion was produced, arranged, and produced at the Globe Studio Stockholm in Stockholm, Sweden.
Iodine Sky is an old school trance gem many from the underground of Sweden remember. The song is known for using such hypnotic synths and strings. Iodine Sky its quite advanced and updated for a trance song from 1994. The song was definitely ahead of its time and that’s just an understatement. Most Swedish trance was not as advanced or “up to date” as this song or Harmon Eyes.
Desert Landscape is a spacious futuristic electronic trance song that is a trance gem without a doubt. Those synths are absolutely angelic.

DJ Sneak – Funkadelikrelic EP review
DJ Sneak – Funkadelikrelic is a funky disco house single sprinkled with some groovy songs. DJ Sneak was in his prime back when he was singed to Cajual Records in 1994 as he was still coming up in the underground as a DJ. Funkadelikrelic serves as an example of some of his earlier releases among his catalog. The singe has some dance floor movers such as Funky Enuff
Funk meets the sounds of disco house on the magnificent superb disco house tune Funky Enuff. The song uses a superb melody which is quite unique. Funky Enuff will remind you of those good old days you used to spend at the club. The song is still a banger in these modern day times.
Groovadelic has a gentle mellow feeling due to DJ Sneak’s unique yet sophisticated method of sampling different songs. A guitar sample is what gives this song a funky groove and edge. A filter is what gives this song low quality audio. You can see and hear that Daft Punk got his style from DJ Sneak.
The first sample used on this song interpolates the finger snapping from a Lil Louis song called Thief. That is where the finger snapping sample came from. The finger snapping sample can be heard at the 0:01 mark. The second sample used on this song came from a classic jazz fusion track by Ramsey Lewis which was called Sun Goddess. This over-pitched vocal sample classic jazz fusion can be heard around the 1:30 mark. The third sample used on this song Earth Wind and Fire - Beijo aka Brazilian Rhyme which can be heard at the 1:55 mark.
Groovadelic samples Lil Louis - Thief, Ramsey Lewis - Sun Goddess, and Earth Wind and Fire - Beijo aka Brazilian Rhyme.

Felipe Gordon – Sample Colossus album review
Felipe Gordon – Sample Colossus is an amazing electronic deep house album from the country of Colombia. The album uses thick drums layered over calming synths backed by a great variety of African sounds. Sample Colossus is album that travels through time re-signifying the past and visualizing the future. Fans of house music will surely enjoy this album. Felipe Gordon is an amazing producer.
Presencia y Plata uses thick loud drums layered over calming synths and funky bass. The song uses a great variety of African sounds.
Records (Original Mix) repetitive angelic calming synths which lead into an intense buildup. You can feel and sense the intensity as the buildup increases. A sustained piano is what keeps the mood calm and mellow. So do those infectious finger snaps. There is some serious going on with this song.
Poser Selim Sivad (Original Mix) uses super heavy bass over an over-looped piano sample underneath a bit crushed synth. The song gets repetitive and annoying rather quickly. One has to wonder this song was produced in a brusque manner or not. Certain parts of this recording sound a bit distorted.
Mambiando a Naima (Monomite Remix) is a song which uses a great variety of African sounds and percussion based instruments.

Who knew such beautiful house music could come from Portugal? The Best Of Me is a breathtaking electronic house release from the country of Portugal that is way ahead of the current time presently speaking. Funk meets electronic house music on The Best Of Me.
What is different about this Xinobi release is that he decided to go in a different musical direction by incorporating and using funk music in his songs. Groovy, funky, and happy are three words best used to describe this release.
Best Of Me (feat. Josh JAKQ) uses a tremendous touch of funk vibes. The song is similar to 80s funk. The song has a happy summery vibe that will uplift your day and your spirits. Some nice thick bass lines are also used in this song. Groovy, funky, and happy are three words best used to describe this song. His fans called Best Of Me an instant classic when the song was uploaded to Xinobi’s Soundcloud page in 2011.

City Of Gold is one of Xinobi’s more deep and darker songs which has a dark mood. The song uses tribal house beats behind some ultra loud thumping bass with a touch of funk. The bass line is what makes this song funky. Xinobi did not sample anything. Here is how he produced the song City of Gold. Kev Brown – Allways single review
Kev Brown – Allways is a single men can definitely relate to. Any of you single men can relate to this single. These are notes from the intelligent side of hip-hop. All of the songs included on this single interpolate that smooth downtempo hip hop sound. Kev Brown is one of the dopest MCs in hip hop right now. He is also a dope producer. Sadly he is a slept on producer who does not get the credit or recognition he truly deserves. He is the beat surgeon of hip hop and is one of hip hop’s best kept secrets.
The original version of Allways is acoustic opposed to the 9th Wonder Remix. The lyrics are slightly different than the 9th Wonder Remix. Notice how there is no chorus. The song is played in B major and uses a tempo of 92 BPM. This here is some smooth downtempo hip hop.
Now the original version of this song was not as favorable as much to his fans as they favored the 9th Wonder Remix a lot more. His fans catered more towards the 9th Wonder Remix than the original version.
Allways is a song men can definitely relate to. Any of you single men can relate to this single as this song should hit hard to home. These are notes from the intelligent side of hip-hop. So pay attention, take notes, and listen closely. Kev Brown explores relationships, escapism, and heart break while reflecting on his own personal relationship issues.
Kev Brown has never been in a serious relationship before. That is probably because he can relate to women. This of course makes things difficult for him to connect to women. Being lonely is a regular thing for him as he spends his days isolated. He stays busy in the studio recording, composing, and producing songs.
These lyrics hint his experience with heartbreak. “Seems like every girl I've chosen, heart's frozen/Or maybe I don't know how to pick, tho/Seems like every chick I know is out to get dough/And I ain't gotta lot of that, and I don't front about it/You think I'ma be hittin' you off without it?Crazy/Where they come off at?” He is tired of having bad experiences with women.
He tells women to leave him isolated if they have nothing offer in him in return for their reciprocated love. Read these lyrics below.
I'ma 'bout to start lettin' these broads know off the bat
If you ain't bringin' nothin' to the table, then leave
Give a dude room to breathe, and then maybe you can proceed
Somethin' real instead of the fake
Somethin' you feel and appreciate
Worth the wait
It's always got to be somethin'
It's like... what the heck is this?
These lyrics explain how difficult it is for Kev to understand woman. He has experienced all types of temptations.
You know I'm really tryin' not to be a pessimist
But on the other hand
I cram to understand your plan
Feminine ways is like a maze with a Minotaur in the middle
Women be thinkin' we all dogs without the kennel
You don't even know what I've been through
Cuz y'all be comin' wit' all types of drama I don't wanna get into
All types of temptations,
With your small waist... and thick hips...
Allways (9th Wonder Remix) is a song men can definitely relate to. Any of you single men can relate to this single as this song should hit hard to home. These are notes from the intelligent side of hip-hop. So pay attention, take notes, and listen closely. Kev Brown explores relationships, escapism, and heart break while reflecting on his own personal relationship issues. This song deals with a lot of drama we go through in relationships. I know Females go through the drama too. But, it's wild though sometimes how things turn out in a relationship.
Allways (9th Wonder Remix) is the best version of Allways and is the more sought after version that his fans catered towards. You know there is going to be pure dopeness whenever you hear a song produced by 9th Wonder. This here is some smooth downtempo hip hop. Allways (9th Wonder Remix) sampled Heatwave - Mind Blowing Decisions.

Got to be something
These lyrics explain how difficult it is for Kev to understand woman. He has experienced all types of temptations.

Being heartbroken is aggravating for any one. Even Kev Brown. A heart can break or be broken in the smallest amount of time. This is emphasized in these lyrics. “It's like you be trying see how many hearts/You can break in the smallest/Amount of time/Or maybe I'm......exaggerating/But it gets aggravating”
Lyrics to Verse 2 are much different than the original.
[Verse 2: Kev Brown]
It's like...the heck is this?
You know I'm really trying not to be a pessimist
But on the other hand, I cram to understand your plan
Feminine ways is like a maze, with the Minotaur in the middle
Women be thinking we all dogs without the kennel
You don't even know what I've been through
'Cause y'all be coming with all types of drama
I don't want to get into
All types of temptations
With your small waist...and thick hips...
Psssh, man...
Look...
Too much to deal with, for real
You got too much to deal to see if it's real, or not
A couple of ladies I met was on point, though
A lot of y'all be getting me annoyed, though
It's like you be trying see how many hearts
You can break in the smallest
Amount of time
Or maybe I'm......exaggerating
But it gets aggravating
You talking another language, and nobody's translating
And you can walk a mile in my shoes
But you can never understand my blues
And that's real

Kev Brown explores relationships, escapism, and heart break while reflecting on his own personal relationship issues on the song Albany. Kev Brown wonders why his relationship to his girl didn’t work out. He is just wondering about her but not crying over her. Albany uses a capo transposer over the acoustics.
They were close to starting something but life got in the way. There was some courtship going during the beginning of their relationship. They went on a couple of dates. However their lives took them both on different directions. This happens in our lifetime. He would loved to have gone further in their relationship but some things aren’t meant to be.
Kev thought about his ex today. It's been a long time since Kev seen her last. It's like time moves too fast to keep your grasp. At least sometimes it does. He was going to call her but she is busy. He keeps thinking about their first date. The whole vibe was chill. They both had a lot in common. Now they are worlds apart. He misses her goodnight kisses.
He laments about what led them break apart from their relationship in these lyrics. “I wonder what it was that made you fall back?/I wonder what it was, but I won't dwell on that/We never hung out that much, still/When we did hang out”
He doesn’t even know what to say. Kev went back to his hometown for a minute. However he ended up staying down here indefinitely. He has questions but no answers. Sadly he had to roll on a brand new friendship. It could have been a little romance too.

Take – Pieces From The Puzzle EP review
Take – Pieces From The Puzzle is a downtempo electronic EP with chill trip hop vibes which has some excellent high quality production and sound. Any fans of downtempo electronic music will want to purchase this EP. Buttermilk Records always seemed to have used these very chill etherial beats. This EP served as the album sampler for Take – Third Story which would be released in 2003.
L.A.T. is one of Take’s most memorable and favorable songs to date. The song uses a classy mellow piano solo that is well memorable. A jazzy saxophone solo is also what makes this song memorable. The beats are also what makes this song nice. Now the number of instruments used on this song are remarkable. Several layers of instrumentation are used on this Take song.
Now some of you have been listening to this song from the Scion CD Sampler V.8 - Beat Constructors Past Present, And Future that was given out for free at the Scion display during the 2004 International Auto Show in San Francisco, California. I know I have.
Next uses a chill mellow sound over some ethereal beats underneath a low bass line. The beats are what make this song nice.
Frustrated uses a mixture of cut-up broken beats which are perfect for DJs. This song is one of the best songs off this EP next to L.A.T.!
