The Rhythm Slaves – Lounge Excursion EP EP review
The Rhythm Slaves – Lounge Excursion EP uses a beautiful classy fusion of jazz house and funk. This is a classic slice of jazzy goodness on top of deep house and lush dance beats. Styles of music such as jazz house, electronic house, deep house, and jazz house were used on this EP. The piano gives the EP a classy touch and sense of class. This Rhythm Slaves EP was written and produced by Richard Gow in 2001 and was remastered in 2021 by Davide Disanto at TOW Records, Bari, Italy.
Lounge Excursion is a beautiful jazz house jammer. The piano gives the track a classy touch and deep jazzy goodness. The track uses a beautiful flute piece accompanied by some soft lush posh dance beats.
Grooverim uses a classy touch and fusion of jazz house and funk with catchy synth notes overlapping a piano. The piano gives the track a sense of classiness thus retaining that deep jazzy goodness. Now this track is more funk oriented as grooves are used everywhere. A beautiful xylophone solo is performed during the middle of the track.
Knock Jazz gives jazz music a breath of fresh air with a classy piano, atmospheric pads, and lush dance beats. This is jazz house at its finest.

One Shade - The Beginning album review
One Shade - The Beginning is a funky soulful R&B album with a combination of soul and funk. The album is littered with sultry love ballads and slow jams. Being that this is 90s R&B/Soul, the album will be filled sexual innuendos among other explicit themes catered to the adult audiences. One Shade came out at a time where everyone and their mom had a group or was in a group.
One Shade - The Beginning was of the many Rap A Lot albums that was supposed to be released in the 1990s. One Shade - The Beginning was an album that was supposed to be released in February 1996 on a subsidiary label of Rap A Lot Records called Sing A Lot Records. But sadly that album was never released for whatever reason(s). One Shade was a southern soul quintet that was their first group to sign onto the label. Sing A Lot Records was established to branch into the R&B/Soul market.
It seems as if One Shade got lost in the shuffle of the over saturated R&B/Soul market of the 90s. It was probably bad timing on the label’s part. Sing A Lot was a subsidiary label that was never meant to be due to the oversaturation of R&B/Soul market.
One Shade - The Beginning is one of the rarest Rap A Lot albums which is considerably rare and impossible to find. This is the most rarest albums from Rap A Lot albums next to Def IV – Nice And Hard. Not many people know about this album. Only collectors have this album.
Flava 2 Sava is about savoring the flavor whether it be food or sexual intercourse. Knowing that this is 90s R&B/Soul, the song will be about sexual intercourse. It’s the flavor of the month right here. One Shade supplies us with the flavor to savor. Or in this case Flava 2 Sava.
Sweet Love is an uptempo love song with catchy beats which definitely grabs the listener(s) attention. The relaxed synths fit in with the piano chords perfectly. Those piano chords overlap sick bass despite the bass being louder than the piano chords. The song Sweet Love is about sexual intercourse.
I Luv U is a love song dedicated to all the ladies out there with babies. I Luv U is a mid tempo slow jam. One Shade gives nothing but love to all the single ladies out there. The song celebrates the goodness of childbirth and parenthood.
The acappella on Ooh Girl was perfectly sung to suit the smooth nature of this soul song. The song itself is a slow downtempo soul song. If you enjoy music that is very downtempo, then this song is appropriate for you. You won’t be disappointed!
Freaky 2 U is a perfect song to play at midnight while you have sexual intercourse with your lover. Hence the sexual innuendo in the song title. The acappella is smoothly sung.
The relaxed synths on How Many Lixx are sure funky for a slow jam. Their singing is perfect. The song is a mid tempo slow jam. Funk meets soul and R&B on How Many Lixx.

Dead At Birth – Genesis Of A Madman album review
Dead At Birth – Genesis Of A Madman is a rare hip hop album that is not necessarily suited for everyone or all audiences. The album gets very, misogynist, and homophobic at times. This is an album hardly anyone had ever heard of. All those guitar loops, samples, and beats leave much to the ears to be desired. If you are a fan of my 90's hip hop and rap, then you will love this album.
That's What You Get has those funky guitar echoes over a hazy vibe perfect enough to get high to despite not being one of those “get high songs”. Whoever engineered and mixed the guitar samples should be praised. That's What You Get is one of those homophobic rap songs which attack and disrespect homosexuals. Dead At Birth discriminates against homosexuals throughout the whole song. Dead At Birth has some extreme views about homosexuals which makes the song interesting and entertaining listening to.
The beginning uses some spoken word and comedy from Sam Kinison from a comedy routine of his called “Rubber Love. Safe sex?” from his album Have You Seen Me Lately?.
"Because a few fags fucked some monkey. They got so bored that their own assholes weren’t enough. They had to go in the fuckin’ jungle, grab some fuckin’ money and fuck him in the ass. And bring back the black plague of the fuckin’ 80's. Thanks guys!”
Renee is a song which revolves around this chick (bitch) Renee who likes dick.
The song begins with the classic catchy lyrical line, "Renee sweet Renee/Wash out your bush and come out and play/‘Cause this is about time that we hit the hay/ Let's do the nasty, Renee"
Now what can Loco say about Renee? Beside that she likes to suck dick everyday. Renee is a brown skin sista with a body too flat. But the best thing about Renee is that she likes it in the backside. She likes it when you talk dirty to her. Loco is here to warn you about the fun if you decide you wanna screw her. Sticking your dick in Renee is like sticking your dick in a sewer. She won't budge. She’s guarantee to lose control. Her pussy is smoking.
You can go fishing with her leg spread open I'm not joking. Wear a rubber because her pussy will make your dick a little leaky. She loves her pussy like a child. Renee is the lightweight of this middle class trend.
50 Ways to Pimp Slap Yo' Bitch is one of those misogynistic rap songs which openly shows disrespects women. Dead At Birth has some extreme views about women which makes the song interesting and entertaining listening to. Not to mention disturbing and controversial. 50 Ways to Pimp Slap Yo' Bitch is laced with a vibrant organ over heavy hip hop beats and “borrowed” vocal samples.
You must be thinking to know that many methods, Loco must be an expert in some sort of obscure marital art that consists entirely of pimp slapping. You’ve been doing something wrong all these years. Not just the 2 ways which are front hand and back hand.

Sedeuce - Freaky Ways album review
Sedeuce - Freaky Ways is a mellow soothing R&B/soul album which contains bedroom jams and slow jams. Their entire album was produced by Ricé. Sedeuce - Freaky Ways was an R&B/soul album that was supposed to be released but for whatever reason(s) was never released.
Sedeuce gets kinky and freaky on their song Freaky Ways in a slow sensual manner. Lil Sin is featured on the song. So creep inside on this slow ride so Sedeuce can show you their freaky ways. Sedeuce has got you trippin from your head to your feet. There ain’t no rushing this. Bump and grind. Sip on some wine. Listen to Sedeuce sing. Don’t try to hide your tales from the freaky side.
Sedeuce definitely moistens ladies panties on the song Wet' Cha. They moisten ladies panties with the smooth sultry vocals and their singing. The song is full of romance. So give Sedeuce a chance.
In My Bed is a super laid back slow jam with some funk synths. Sedeuce doesn’t want any confusion or to abuse you. They just want you in bed with them given the title of this song. So give Sedeuce a chance.

Twiztid - Unlikely Prescription album review
Unlikely Prescription is Twiztid’s second rock album next to their 2000 album Freek Show. They embrace a rock sound with this album. This is evident on songs such as Corkscrew, Confused, Comes with an Apology, Twist and Shatter, Rose Petal, and Comes with an Apology.
Confused is about how people use Twiztid as a scapegoat to lay the blame on for their problems due to their music.
People love to hate Twiztid because now they’re horribly famous. People need a scapegoat to lay the blame on and they can feel good about the things they do. So people pick Twiztid as the scapegoat since they are different. Twiztid does not care about people’s sick opinions.
What would it take for them to try to fit in your reality? They’re the ones you hate. Twiztid are viewed as frauds and pretenders who are fake. That is what people believe in their hearts. Here is how people judge Twiztid. People judge a book by a cover or the title of a song. You judge a book by a cover or the title of a song you probably never even heard.
Perfect Problem explains how no media-logical rhetoric or any pathetic etiquette can destroy Twizted in any way, shape, form, or fashion. Twizted could care less about what anyone says about them using social media networking on the internet whether positive or negative.
No media-logical rhetoric, no heartless, weak and pathetic etiquette can destroy Twizted. Call it bravado instead of calling it ignorance. He bleeds to the rhythm in words, paragraphs, and sentences. He is word heavy and the deadliest with a killa mind frame. It hits heavy while bullshit covers the top like sediment. It's evident that hard work versus benefits.
So Jamie Madrox doesn't even question a bit because no one gives a shit. According to what he sees on the internet such as comments, thoughts, prayers, likes, and shares. With a link in the bio in case anyone even cares. Jamie Madrox could care less about what people say about Twiztid using social media networking on the internet. He could care less about the comments and shares. This world is cold enough and unaffectionate. Just like you expected it. Do you listen to what they tell you? Is Twizted the perfect problem that you're looking for?
All the hate and all of your fake issues will get laid to rest. And won't nobody miss you. Life will move on. Better days surround us.
Jamie Madrox has improved significantly with his vocal as the lyrics to his verse in Verse 1 imply and indicate. Jamie Madrox has come a long way with his lyrics.
[Verse 1: Jamie Madrox]
Ah, no media-logical rhetoric
No heartless, weak and pathetic etiquette
Call it bravado instead of calling it ignorance
Last panel, first appearance before birth and the death of the Genesis
The negative nemesis
And I bleed to the rhythm in words, paragraphs and sentences
Word heavy the deadliest
Killa mind frame and it heavy hits while bullshit cover the top like sediment
It's evident that hard work versus benefits
Leave an empty situation feeling full of shit
Just like you expected it
Signal has been lost, we're reconnecting it
World is cold enough and unaffectionate
So I don't even question a bit 'cause no one gives a shit
According to what I be seeing on the internet
Comments, thoughts and prayers, likes and share
With a link in the bio in case anyone even cares
Rose Petal deals with breaking away from conformity and also breaking away from mediocrity.
Breaking away from societal conformity is something a person needs to do sometimes. One cannot focus when they sink into a sea of conformity. One cannot focus when they sink into a sea of mediocrity in a society filled with fakeness. One cannot the hurt and the hate and the reason they make that person the things they despise.
People are judgmental. So why settle for normalcy? This conformity is a rose petal that fell from the stem. So gather all of thosе dark thoughts and your mistakes and your inhibitions. It's time to explain to thе world who we are again.
Are we the reasons? Blame us. Go ahead. You walk with your comment(s). Who are you to criticize actions of other when they do the same shit almost all the time? That is a lack of respect. They're judgmental and why settle for normalcy?
Twiztid adds their own twisted touch of rock on the song Twist and Shatter. They embrace the rock sound perfectly.
Twizted adds a touch of gruesome horrorcore to the chorus with these lyrics.
[Chorus]
Falling faster
Back to the patterns
I'll be your cadaver
Perfect disaster
Push the dagger
Twist and shatter
You pull me apart again
The wound is ever bleeding and is nowhere close to healing. It's like Twizted is markеd for death. Is thеre a chance to complain? The lyrics to Verse 2 explain how painful the wound is and how the wound is nowhere close to healing.
[Verse 2]
The wound is ever bleeding
It's nowhere close to healing
It's like I'm markеd for death
And death ain't just don't care 'bout your feelings
Is thеre a chance to complain?
Or tear me down for some fun
I'll be the butt of them jokes
Them words are bullets in loaded guns

PFG - PLAYA'S FROM THE GHETTO album review
PFG - PLAYA'S FROM THE GHETTO is an extremely hardcore gangsta rap album with a tough edge of street knowledge. PFG has this “in your face” no holds barred attitude about who they are and where they represent. Day-K, Drank, and Kurod are the members of PFG who are players from the ghetto. Ricé's production shines all over the place as he is solely responsible for producing their album.
Die Too is about getting revenge for a friend of PFG’s that had been killed by an enemy. So PFG had to engage in revenge. PFG are taking lives as they are the undertakers. So beware. Die Too uses a super mellow acoustic keyboard over thickened bass.
Slippas Go has a cool chorus behind some crisp beats. But the chords and synths sound way off key and out of tune making the song unbearable to listen to. This song is the worst song off their album.
Playa's From The Ghetto was PFG’s anthem. You can’t fuck with PFG as they are real players from the ghetto. PFG has this vocal “in your face” no holds barred attitude about who they are and where they represent. They make that clear and understood.

Ms. Versachi - Freaky Ways album review
Ms. Versachi - Freaky Ways is a mellow soothing R&B/soul album which contains bedroom jams and slow jams. Her entire album was produced by Ricé. Ricé's production shines all over the place as he is solely responsible for producing her album. The album featured her husband Kalab aka Mr. Gucci who also her label mate on Big Ballin’ Recordz.
Ms. Versachi - Freaky Ways was an R&B/soul album that was supposed to be released on Big Ballin’ Recordz in 1998 but for whatever reason(s) was never released. Ms. Versachi - Freaky Ways was advertised in the Down South Playaz Click Volume 1 compilation and the 1998 compilation album Playa Circle.
Freaky Ways is a slow sultry bedroom jam perfect for a romantic night. Some funky thick guitars are throughout the song. The song revolves around phone sex and actual sexual contact. Freaky Ways was one of the buzz singles off her album which was issued onto vinyl as a promotional vinyl single to radio stations. Her song Freaky Ways was used on the 1998 compilation album Playa Circle. Freaky Ways featured Kalab aka Mr. Gucci and Nino of PKO.
In My Bed is a super laid back slow jam with some funky synths. The song is super seductive and provocative.

Lil Flip – The Takeover album review
Platinum Houston rapper Lil Flip flossed his freestyle skills on his 2004 album Lil Flip – The Takeover. The tracks were produced by TJ Music, Hump, and DJ Screw. This was his underground album which included unreleased tracks (regular tracks), screwed tracks, freestyles, and flows. Lil Flip took over Texas rap back in 2004.
Lil Flip – The Takeover was released on CD by BCD Music Group in the summer of 2004. Yes that BCD. The same BCD that was sued by Universal Music Group in 2007. BCD didn’t get the clearance to release most of Lil Flip’s albums even though they are a distributor. BCD Music Group was so blatant with their violations. Somehow the distributor got away with releasing his albums.
Swang 4’s is a freestyle none other than the Swang Glass 84's Freestyle over Notorious B.I.G. - Juicy in a screwed style. His cousin Big Shasta raps a verse on the freestyle. The most iconic and memorable lyrics to this freestyle are “Fuck a home run, I come with my chrome gun”, “Never-ever-ever sniffing a line/
We blow endo, that light green shit”, and “Watching Freddy Kruger strong like Lex Luger/Man, I fuck Mariah Carey and Cynthia Cooper/Av Trooper/I seen them on the highway”.
Lil Flip swang glass 84's and pimps hoes. He sports platinum teeth and not white gold. He sleeps with his Glock because niggaz ain’t acting right.
I know you heard of his style A lot of these niggas don't think Lil Flip deserves his style. But anyway, it's time to get in the limelight. Ya'll niggas got a deal but ya'll can't even shine right. He’ll break your mics. He’s just that tight. Lil Flip got skills to pay the bills. The only reason he raps is to get some money. Fuck a record deal. Southside still holding.
You can't see his diamonds because his windows are tinted. Rolling glass and swangin' glass 84’s.
Lil Flip takes his chain to get a trillion cuts. Lil Flip is worth a million bucks. He just bought a Winnebago. I'm telling these niggas (you niggas) Lil Flip is about his money. The Freestyle King will sit on his throne. Lil Flip will sit on recline in his recliner chair/seat. Now there’s a lot of shit on his mind of course. You’ll never see Lil Flip sniffing a line of cocaine. He blows and smokes endo better known as that light green shit. That is what these lyrics are a reference to. These are drug references. “Never-ever-ever sniffing a line/We blow endo, that light green shit”
Lil Flip is playa made. He pulled a lot of stunts like Super Dave. It's the home of the brave where the trunks, open up like ass. Watching Freddy Kruger strong like Lex Luger. He fucks Mariah Carey and Cynthia Cooper.
Ain't shit never been funny. Dummies get baked when the bricks get low. Lil Flip needs five g's (5 grand/$5,000) for a show. He stands on the stage to freestyle for about 30 minutes off the track. He doubles my money. Some niggas like to cover their money.
When he freestyles, he never loses his composure. He blows the best weed. He’s always blowin’. He would chuck the deuce out the roof. Trunks crunch hard like Nestle. That's a candy bar. Call it with the handlebars.
Big Shasta is a paper chaser a hoe eraser. Check his damn pockets you could see big money. He’s trying to get rich. He rides behind tint. Watch him come through and the haters bust slugs. Bust at a bitch and ride on the switch. He sell rhymes and hooks. He’s got money all over his books.
Lil Flip’s Lean Wit Me with Will-Lean of the Botany Boys was his own rendition of Club Nouveau - Lean On only with more drug references revolving around drugs. This is one of his overlooked and underrated tracks. One of the most humorous and hard hitting lyrics to the song were "I'm not drug free but I do free drugs" and “Lean with me”.
Flippin was a track Lil Flip recorded for the ladies sometime in 2004. Lil Flip lets the ladies know if they want to come kick it with some real pimp, a real man, and young boss that they can go to Lil Flip. You can be his fly girl. The #1 fly boy Fliperachi is in the building with his girl Mya fo' sho. So come and roll wit a fly boy. This kid is ballin' like Jim Jones. Lil Flip is a certified mack in the streets. How many rappers got ice on the back?

Phil Storm - Quiet Storm album review
Looking for something soothing, calm, and quiet to unwind your night down to? Then Phil Storm - Quiet Storm is the perfect album for you. The album has quiet storm songs, romance songs, bedroom jams, and slow jams. The album has quiet soothing melodies. You can hear the 90's in this album. This is sexy classic R&B for grown folks.
Heart In Your Hands is explains how good loves feels both physically, mentally, and emotionally. The song explains how Phil lays his heart in his girl’s hands.
It started out as friends. Then Phil felt her touch and his heart began to melt. He wrapped her in his arms. He couldn’t believe the way he felt. Then they felt the love and undoubtedly fell in love. She brightened up his world. He has been searching for a soulmate for so long. He gives it all to her. He lays his heart in her hands.
Phil talks to his girl on the phone. They go out for fun. Never realizing a new day had begun. He felt her touch and his heart began to melt. Then they felt the love and undoubtedly fell in love. She brightened up his world. He has been searching for a soulmate for so long but he found it in her.
Any Way You Want It has an incredible bass line which puts it down on da slow grind. You can just hear the 90's in this song. Phil lets his girl know that when he arrives that it’s going to be any way she wants it.
He can make her feel good all night. Any way she wants it. Phil is on her mind. She says to Phil that she is all alone by her lonesome. Her body is ready for psychical and sexual contact. She talks dirty to him on the telephone. She knows that he is on his way.
Phil just what she likes and desires. That is why they have so much fun. They have no time for disturbance. Freaky is as freaky does. There’s no need for her to blow up his pager. Phil dedicates his time to freaking her. Clearly he wants her tonight. He needs her loving. He’s been waiting for her call all day. Phil does anything to keep her satisfied.
All In Your Name teaches us that if we ask and believe that all things are possible. All things are possible all in your name. That is the knowledge which Phil Storm drops. He also takes it to church on this one with the organ.
