Dale Cooper Quartet And The Dictaphones - Metamanoir album review

People say dark jazz is another dimension. That’s what they say. This album called Dale Cooper Quartet And The Dictaphones - Metamanoir is one of those albums with a dark edge of jazz. Fans of jazz music will surely enjoy this album. Examples of some of the best compositions on this album are Une Petit Cellier, and Eux Exquis Acrostole. Each composition on the album is worth listening to. No composition on this album is worth skipping.

The composition Une Petit Cellier, which serves as the opener, uses low-pitched sustained sounds and notes which is known as drone music. The composition Une Petit Cellier serves as the albums dark opener.

A smooth jazzy saxophone is used throughout Eux Exquis Acrostole. This gives the composition a dark jazz edge. Low pitched monotone notes are used throughout the composition as they were on Une Petit Cellier. Krystian Sarrau is the performer playing the saxophone.

The composition Eux Exquis Acrostole explains how American freedom is isn't worth a dime in other countries. Even when you want to leave the city life behind.

The darkness won't cover you when you try to run away. Especially when you drive a big smooth car too far. You want to leave the city life behind in the American city you are departing from to live in another country. You keep driving until you find a way out. City neon hums around what you'd think you've left behind. Your American freedom isn't worth a dime. The night's not dark enough to cover you. It's not dark enough to cover you.

Ma Insaisissable Abri is an irresistible piece of jazz music with a beautiful pristine woodwinds selection consisting of oboes and clarinets. Not to mention how angelic the vocals are.

Sa Prodigieux Hermitage is a dark jazz composition where the instrumentation is set to a low level. The instrumentation for/of this compositional piece is very dark given that this is a dark jazz album. The woodwinds selection consisting of oboes and clarinets is what gives this compositional piece of dark jazz a dark edge.

Le Implacable Gentilhommière uses a drum selection which follows a mid-tempo pace commonly used in time signatures many jazz songs. The song uses a mixture of brightness and darkness in terms of mood and feeling.

Le Implacable Gentilhommière is about a woman who wakes up sober after a night of drinking and partying. Yet she is thirsty for yesterday. Today's the end of the party.

Today, she′s sober, but still she's thirsty for yesterday. What could it ever be like? Could she ever like this? You wonder if could she ever like this. I wonder if could she ever like this. So many questions that need so many answers.  What if this delights the unknown? Because the other light is firework. Today's the end of the party.

Today, she′s sober, but still...
She's thirsty for yesterday
What could it ever be like
I wonder, could she ever like this
What if this delights the unknown
′Cause the other light is firework
So is that the owner of the party
Today's the end of the party
Today's the end of the party

Elle Agréable Rendez-Vous De Chasse is a unique dark jazz section. Elle Agréable Rendez-Vous De Chasse is a mixture of a jazz-rock combination where jazz meets rock. You have a gritty distorted electric guitar playing in the background behind a strings section and piano section.

Mon Tragique Chartreuse picks up where Elle Agréable Rendez-Vous De Chasse left off. Mon Tragique Chartreuse served as the dark reprise to Elle Agréable Rendez-Vous De Chasse musically speaking. This composition is a jazz-rock combination where jazz meets rock. You have a gritty distorted electric guitar playing in the background behind a strings section and piano section. Only Mon Tragique Chartreuse is much darker sounding than Elle Agréable Rendez-Vous De Chasse.

La Terrible Palais is a muffled dark jazz composition with an experimental sound and feeling. This is another unique dark jazz composition.

The composition Il Mélodieux Manoir serves as the rainy closer with lo-fi production and low volume in the instrumentation. The composition is brighter in comparison to the other compositions that are on this album.

Manet - I Sense Owls In The Moss album review

Manet - I Sense Owls In The Moss is one of those surreal and ethereal dark jazz albums with an experimental sound. People say that dark jazz is another dimension. The album has a mixture of brightness and darkness in terms of mood and feeling. Each song on the album is worth listening to. No song on this album is worth skipping.

Skurming is a mixture of jazz, rock, and blues. The gritty guitar serves as and represents as the rock and blues portion of the song. The upright bass, saxophone, and drums serve as the jazz portion of the song. The song has a mixture of brightness and darkness in terms of mood and feeling.

The title track, I Sense Owls In The Moss, abruptly calms the mood down for this album. The song skirmishly avoids using and elements of rock music. Mr. Effektive Detective uses contemporary 70s rock sounds to a soft slow tempo rhythm followed with a set of quiet drums with an edge of dark jazz.

DJ Greg Cash - Consolidate The Soul EP EP review

DJ Greg Cash - Consolidate The Soul EP is early Greg Cash before he moved to Chicago, Illinois. He recorded, produced, and arranged this EP when he was living in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. This was some of his earlier work which did not use the Chicago house sounds of acid house and dance.

Happy Days uses samples of scattered vocals and crunched drum sequences heard in house music. Jump Up & Down uses low bass notes that follow a house rhythm and pace. The song gets amazingly deep in the middle specifically. This just proves good music never dates. Shaw Avenue is one of the best songs on the EP.

Caro Emerald – Live single review

Caro Emerald – Live is one of the best live singles to date. This digital live single has that bossa nova sound performed by a big band and Caro Emerald herself. The single was released as a free iTunes download on the 9th day of Apple's 12 Days Of Christmas. Fans of jazz will enjoy this single.

My 2 Cents is about information Caro dishes about on a gentleman who is impossible to get with. She gives her two cents about this gentleman.

This gentleman. He's like a whip hat doesn't crack. You take a sip and you're on your back. Those big blue eyes are hard to reach. This gentleman is so impossible. It makes you meek like a guitar that cries for days and seduces you in a thousand ways. You feel his strings. Now you're uptight from the first night. It makes any girl and lady weaken at his sight because he's not undercover. He walks past his lovers. Other people know there's no defense. There is no evidence because he creates an illusion that leads to confusion and you give up your common sense. Well that's Caro’s two cents about this gentleman.

He's like a wall that's made of steel. He is like a wall that is too cold to touch. There is not much to feel. His sullen smile he shares with few. The tricks of the trade he's glad to lose. He disappears into thin air. He gives one last look and a frozen leer. Your heart is good as gone. Love's the TV set that says there's nothing on.

There's no PI (private investigator) with a promise of a glint. All the cores and private investigators dissipate when there are no fingerprints. Don't retrace your steps because he's staring right at you. A one man casino. If you spin the wheel, you lose. Because he's not undercover. He walks past his lovers. Other people know there's no defense. There is no evidence because he creates an illusion that leads to confusion and you give up your common sense. Well that's Caro’s two cents about this gentleman.

Little Violet shows deep love, admiration, and affection to a gentleman who has she fallen in love with on I Belong To You.

Under the stars the shines and glistens one light to the whispers of the night. When skies are black and full of despair, Caro asked the sun to tell the moon that two of them are there. The afterglow that's down below is when she sees his smile. Forever is a word that cries that Caro belongs to him. Caro belongs to the man she loves and admires.
That endless nights are far away.

Caro sees he doesn't look down and now she feel the truth. They overlooked as ocean deep. But now this river that they’re swimming through is promises we keep. There is no heart that chance will break. Nothing else could ever stop the now. There are no inhibitions or unexpected interruptions in his ways. She’ll let him ask for every turn

Caro Emerald – Live At Le Poisson Rouge, New York single review

Caro Emerald – Live At Le Poisson Rouge, New York is one of the best live singles to date. This digital live single has that swing jazz sound performed by a big band and Caro Emerald herself. The single was released to commemorate the context of Queen's Day 2013 and the crowning of Dutch King Willem-Alexander. Fans of jazz will enjoy this single.

The man Caro loves doesn’t really love her. However Caro already knows this yet she still loves him. That is what You Don't Love Me explains.

Another day, another night has got her thinking, “What is it with him? He's naturally moving slow. I see him at the corner bar. Am I dreaming? Surrounded by friends. it's got to end. I need to know. Am I just a night of lust? A lost temptation? Is someone like me his destiny he'll never know? I gotta find a way to show my expectations. He ends it where it begins but I won't let go.”

She sees him at the corner bar surrounded by friends. What is it with him? He's naturally moving slow. Caro needs to know if she is dreaming, just a night of lust, or a lost temptation. It's got to end. Is someone like her his destiny he'll never know? Caro has to find a way to show her expectations. He ends it where it begins but she won't let go.

Caro knows he doesn't love her. But still she burns for him. This flame will die. Her soul beared completely. Doesn't seem like enough for him. Caro knows he doesn't love her but the message can't get through to him.

Any man can see that Caro worth the talking Love can be bittersweet when a girl hears "no". Opportunity knocks, but your doors don't open. But she feel a fire inside that's about to blow. So sweep her off my feet and show her something different. You know all the tricks. Come get your kicks. You know Caro is fair game. You gotta understand a girl needs more than romance. How many chances lost until you just run away?

Caro goes lusting after a man she wants to fall in love with on That Man. He knows he's got it made with Caro.

Caro is in a little bit of trouble and is in real deep. From the beginning to the end. He was no more than a friend to her. The thought is makin' her hazy. Because like the sweetest serenade, he knows he's got it made with Caro.

Twisting around on a carousel. This speed's too much to stop. One second she is thinking she is feeling the lust and then she feels a lot. That man is like a flame. A flame to her fire. That man is who she wants, desires, and lusts after. However that man plays Caro like a game. He plays her like checkers. Her only sin is she can't win. She wants to love that man. That man is on her list.

Now it's like Caro on a mission. Headed everywhere in every possible direction. And if it takes a little long and feels a little wrong, who cares?

My baby He fits the description of what Caro wants out of a man. She wants a man like the actor Fred Astaire. That is what the lyrics, “A little Gable, some Astaire” indicate/imply. She can hardly breathe when he dances. And does it easily. Someone call a doctor as Caro needs some help to rescue her. One second she is thinking she might be lost and he keeps on finding her.

Adele - 19 album review

The 19 album by Adele was under-appreciated and overlooked when it came out similar to how the Reasonable Doubt album by Jay-Z was under-appreciated by fans at first. In that aspect, Adele released her debut album and no one really appreciated it similar to how fan didn’t appreciate Reasonable Doubt by Jay-Z when that album came out. Despite selling millions of units, fan didn’t appreciate the 19 album the way they did the 21 album in 2011. The only reasons why the 19 album received the time of day was due to her songwriting skills and her singing vocals.

Melt My Heart to Stone was written when Adele broke off her relationship with her previous ex-lover. She wrote Melt My Heart to Stone from the heart as she was extremely sad during the recording process. Melt My Heart to Stone is about giving everything for someone, which is what love is all about.

Adele felt weighed down by the toxic relationship she was in with her previous ex-lover. She blames herself for their relationship turning toxic. That is what these lyrics implicit/imply.

Right under my feet is air made of bricks
That pulls me down and turns me weak for you
I find myself repeating like a broken tune
And I'm forever excusing your intentions
Then, I give in to my pretendings
Which forgive you each time
Without me knowing
They melt my heart to stone

However she realizes that she is only imagining things in her head. She tries to quit on forgiving him subconsciously. He builds her up and leaves her there alone. He’s burnt her heart to stone without her knowing.

Many Shades of Black is an upbeat soulful jazzy Adele song about how there are so many ways for people to act. Adele herself will no long worry about the wasted, worried year she spent with her ex-lover their relationship. Everybody sees and agrees that Adele and her ex-lover are wrong about being together.

There's so many ways to act. There's so many shades of black.

Adele tells her ex-lover to leave and get out of her life. She tells her ex-lover to take whatever's left and take it with him out the door.

She tells her ex-lover, “Go ahead. Smash it on the floor. Take whatever's left and take it with you out the door. See if I cry. See if I shed a single sorry tear. Can't say that it's been that great. No, in fact, it's been a wasted, worried year. Everybody sees and everyone agrees that you and I are wrong. And it's been that way too long. Take it as it comes. And be thankful when it's done. There's so many shades of black.”

Adele herself will no long worry about the wasted, worried year she spent with her ex-lover. Everybody sees and agrees that Adele and her ex-lover are wrong about being together. These lyrics explain why.

See if I cry
See if I shed a single sorry tear
Can't say that it's been that great
No, in fact, it's been a wasted, worried year

Everybody sees
And everyone agrees
That you and I are wrong
And it's been that way too long
Take it as it comes
And be thankful when it's done
There's so many shades of black
Let it out
Let it all out, say what's on your mind
You can kick and scream and
Shout and say things that are so unkind

He can kick, scream, shout, and say things that are so unkind. Adele will stand firm through it all because in the back of her mind and on the tip of her tongue is the answer to it all. He cannot take it back. It's been that way too long. Everybody sees that and everyone agrees.

Fool That I Am explains how much of a fool Adele was for falling in love with a man who she thought loved her but he did not really love her ever.

Adele is a fool for falling in love with him. She was also a fool for thinking he loved her too. He took Adele’s heart and then played the part of little Coquette like in Les Misérables. All of her dreams disappeared like the smoke from a cigarette. She was a fool for believing and hoping he would understand and listen to her. But they couldn't see eye to eye. This is goodbye.

Rick Wade – Quantum Expression single review

Rick Wade – Quantum Expression is one of the bangin Detroit deep house releases on 1999. This single is a fine representation of the sound of the underground. Any real house heads will want to purchase this single due to the sophistication in his production. Stand out tracks on this release are Thought Process, Bangin', and Forever Night.

Thought Process is driven by a thin kick drum and bongos behind a calming layer of angelic electronic synths. Those angelic synths will make you want to slip away into this song Rick Wade forever and forget everything that is currently going on in life. Thought Process is one of the deep songs on the single.

Bangin' is the stand out track for this Rick Wade release which contains some deep house dopeness that is surely classic thanks to that signature Detroit sound. Those shakers blend in perfectly with the processed electronic beats. Rick Wade is a genius at programming drum sequences. Bangin' is a fan favorite among Rick Wade fans and has been for decades on end. Bangin samples the kicks and hi-hats to Daft Punk - Revolution 909 which is where those 909 beats specifically come from.

Pimp Factor is a 70s soul inspired Detroit deep house song. That is no coincidence as the song is backed by the sample of The Brothers Johnson - Smilin' On Ya. The song uses 70s style synths and a guitar.

Alton Miller – Soundscapes & Vibes single review

Alton Miller released another deep sublime deep house release called Alton Miller – Soundscapes & Vibes in 2002. Songs on this release are perfect for a soothing late night. The sound is perfectly sublime. Exactly how he produced those laid back house grooves are amazing. This is Detroit house at its finest. This entire release is soulful and deep in nature and sound which adds to the richness of his production.

Alton Miller – Soundscapes & Vibes is an overlooked release from the catalog of the prestigious Moods & Grooves label of Detroit deep house. Only so many people know or knew about this release of his.

Movement has that deep house sound along with those summer vibes. The song has a retro feeling and a contemporary feeling that which can be partly attributed to the synths, chords, and beats. You can feel this song all the way because of that.

Chasing Dreams has the deepest deep house vibes. This song is perfect for a soothing late night. Those laid back house grooves used here are amazing. This is Detroit house at its finest. A few ways to describe the sound of Chasing Dreams are soulful, deep, and rich in nature. Chasing Dreams uses soft treble reduced shakers. Notice how soft the shakers are in comparison to his other songs.

Fusion Meltdown uses some extremely chilled out soundscapes behind soulful instrumentation and production. This can be to the synths, chords, and beats used throughout the song.

Danny Boy - That Was Then, This Is Now was a Danny Boy album that was supposed to be released by WIDEAwake and Death Row Records sometime in February 2010. However this album was never released for whatever reason. That Was Then, This Is Now was supposed to mark his comeback into music. However this album was substituted for It’s About Time.

That Was Then, This Is Now is one of those perfect albums for when you and/or your lover is a romantic mood. Danny Boy is known for his soulful romantic mood ballads as that is what he was primarily known for back in the 90s.The mood for this album is relaxing.

The album features pre-recorded songs from the 1990s with contributed production from DJ Quik, DeVante Swing, and Dimitrius Shipp. Jodeci member DeVante Swing produced songs such as If U Don't Mind, It's All About You, and Just Ride. DJ Quik definitely had a hand in all of the production to his album. The album was recorded during the analog days from tape into the console and other keyboard gear. That’s why that album sounds how it does.

WIDEAwake and Death Row should have  released this album. We need his voice in R&B/Soul today because most R&B/Soul sucks today.

Welcome To Death Row! uses smokey soulful singing from Danny Boy as he graces the song with himself singing the chorus and singing a couple verses. The song uses a fusion of soul rap which you can vibe to. Welcome To Death Row! was the anthem for Death Row Records in 1995. This one's for the OG’s, hardheads, gangsters, squares, churchgoers, and knuckleheads. You know what time it is.

Welcome To Death Row! was a/is a Danny Boy song featuring 2Pac, Jewell, Michel’le, and Stacie Smallie. Welcome To Death Row! was recorded on October 30, 1995 at Can-Am Studios (Studio B) in Tarzana, California. The producers for Welcome To Death Row! were Hurt-M-Badd, Kurt Kobane, and DJ Quik.

The beginning of the song uses a sample from the intro of Dr. Dre - The Chronic. Dr. Dre’s dedication might ring a bell to you. “This is dedicated to the niggas that was down from day one./Welcome to Death Row.”

People in the ghetto, don't you know it's Death Row? Danny Boy explains to us that a new breed has arrived. So please get your groove on. You ought to be sanctified. If you know what I know about the people stranded on Death Row. You might wanna ride. Rock on, brothers and sisters.

2 Pac tells us don't never underestimate the power of brothers. Convicted felons and gangbangers from outta the gutter. 2 Pac and Danny Boy are stranded on Death Row for real. Tricks come and get their pictures taken. There ain't nothing left to say but pray. Try to keep ya head up and look for better days on Death Row. Just throw ya hands up and feel good with this one right here. Your boy 2 Pac is spittin' out for his homeboy Danny Boy. Letting y'all know what time is it here on Death Row. Y'all need to peep how they are rollin’.

Beautiful Lady was produced by Devante Swing of Jodeci. The song was beautifully arranged and sung. Danny Boy did a wonderful job singing with K-Ci. This song was a hit which won him over many fans on an international scale across the globe.

The song takes place in March of 1995. Danny Boy was high. A beautiful lady spoke to Danny Boy. She then turned and walked away. He hasn’t seen her since that day. Danny wonders where she went as he hope it’s near and not that far. Hey beautiful lady.

Danny Boy wants that beautiful lady to be his baby. He thinks about her everyday. He just wanna see her lovely face. Her body and her face are so damn tight. Without hesitation Danny asks her to spend the night with him. He asks this beautiful lady, “Won't you come over and stay with me tonight?”

He dreams about her everyday. Sex is not the only way for him to get to her. He wants get into her mind. She is so damn fine.

It’s Over Now was a smooth R&B solo hit for Danny Boy back in the 90s. It instantly won him over many fans on an international scale across the globe. It was included on this album, the Gridlock’d soundtrack, and It’s Over Now. Babyface had also co-wrote this song.

The song is about a smooth man comforting a female. This is song is so comforting towards females whom had been done wrong in some many ways and a guy is there for them. He motivates them to move on from whatever the situation is at hand. Three words to describe this song are comforting, smoothing, and motivating.

Danny can see the pain on her face as indicated in the lyrics. Read the lyrics to Verse 1.

[Verse 1]
I can tell that you're worried
It's written on your face
And it tells your story
Girl, I can feel your pain
It's unspeakable what he did to you
He don't deserve one bit of you
Girl, we're walking out, it's time we're through
He might as well get over you

Lyrics to the bridge explain how some women don't recognize that they can't survive without their man when in reality these women can survive without their man. All they have to do is have some will power to get the respect back in their lives.

[Bridge]
Some women don't recognize
They don't exist (Oh, they don't)
They feel like that they can't survive without their man
It's time we all realize it's not worth it if you treat it so bad
Lift up your head, show somebody
Get back the respect in your life (Re)

Now I know ya'll know about Danny Boy. That's that singin' ass nigga from Death Row. Danny Boy did a spectacular job covering Bobby Womack - That's The Way I Feel Bout Cha with his song That's The Way I Feel Bout Chu. Danny Boy sang his ass off on the cover and rendition of Bobby Womack - That's The Way I Feel Bout Cha.

You know life is funny when you look at it. Everybody wants love. But everybody's afraid of love. If you get anything out of life, you've got to put it with the toils and strife.

Danny Boy tells the lady digging on him, “You're pushing my love little bit too far I don't think you know how blessed you are. And your friend, Annie Mae tell you all she see. Have you ever thought she was trying to get close to me? Think it over, girl. That's the way I feel about 'chu.”

However he doesn’t mind this. Danny Boy knows she’s been hurt and so has many others too. But that's a sacrifice that life puts you through. He tells her to put her trust into him and to not have any fears. He tells her to think it over.

That's the way I feel about ya (that's the way I feel about 'cha)
Please, please
Please answer love
If it ever comes knocking at your door (well, I don't care)
'Cause what's out there knocking, baby? (darlin')
The world don't give enough of, don't give enough of
I know you've been hurt and so has others too. But all you got to do is ask about the changes. That life has put them through.
Lord, have mercy
This is just the way it is.

Danny Boy tells the lady digging not to take his love as a sign of weakness. Danny Boy tells the lady, “Listen. Don't take my love as a sign of weakness. Check into the situation, girl. Dig a little bit deeper. 'Cause that's the way I feel about 'cha.”

Come When I Call is an original Danny Boy song with a Michael Henderson sample used. Come When I Call samples Michael Henderson - Let Me Love You. Come When I Call was used on the soundtrack for the 1994 movie Murder Was The Case. The song was also used as a promo single too.

Come When I Call is a perverted love song about a girl who has sex with all the guys. She is on a date and this guy is trying to get with her. Pleasing her sexual desires (making her cum) is his only mission. The lyrics tell it all.

[Verse 1]
Chi-town winds blow so cold
I can't imagine not having somebody to hold
But in the nick of time girl, you knocking at my door
So come on in take off your blouse
No need to panic 'cause this is my house
Climb in my bed, leave your clothes on the floor
Now I may be very young
But I'll get you sprung, if you let me play with your pearl tongue
('Cause that the way I feel about ya')
'Cause that's the way I feel about you
I can't deny, I might decide to lick between your thighs
Girl you good like the Chronic
I swear you get me so high

I can't control this pleasure now
I got to have you in every position
So turn down the lights, baby come close
To make you cum is my only mission

Take My Breath Away is Danny Boy’s magnificent cover of Norman Connors - You Take My Breath Away. The song uses a smooth jazzy upbeat sound which is nice because the song fits Danny Boy’s persona and image. DJ Quik and G1 produced Take My Breath Away. DJ Quik’s leaves much to be desired and cherished.

If Danny Boy had castles built on high, he’d find a million ways to write her name against the sky just to let her know she caught his eye. And if he had more than wealth could buy, he’d sell it all and start again for just a chance with her. He would give his all to win her love. And he would be rich. And he would build all his world around the lady he loves just to show her how she takes his breath away.

Nobody else this side of heaven knows how she take Danny Boy’s breath away. She turned an ordinary man like Danny Boy into a king. He’ll do anything to win her love. I think there's something here worth saying. His breath has now been taken. Danny Boy’s got to overcome this achin' to win her love.

Love & Happiness was a cover of Al - Love & Happiness. As usual, he sang his ass off on this cover song of his. Some of you may remember that this song was used in the movie A Thin Line Between Love And Hate. Specifically in the scene when Martin was in the mirror.

Love and happiness is something that can make you do wrong and make you do right. That’s what people say. Happiness is when you really feel good about somebody. There's nothing wrong with being in love with someone. Love'll make you do wrong. Love will you come home early and stay out all night long. That is the power of love.

I Can't Wait has the sultry Death Row sound everybody misses. The song is a masterpiece with clear and divine production. I Can't Wait is an original Danny Boy song.

The song is about Danny Boy not being able to wait to see the lady he loves and cherishes. He cannot wait to see her face after he gets off work. He thinks of her when he is and at his place of employment. So he thinks of all the things they could do.

The Church Interlude is a Danny Boy solo which was an interlude written and performed by himself with no outside help or extraordinary features. Danny Boy takes it to church with his smokey vocals and soulful singing on the Church Interlude. You know what time it is.

The producers for Church Interlude were Hurt-M-Badd, Kurt Kobane, and DJ Quik. The Church Interlude was recorded right after the recording process of Welcome To Death Row! was completed. Church Interlude was recorded on October 30, 1995 at Can-Am Studios (Studio B) in Tarzana, California. The producers for Church Interlude were Hurt-M-Badd, Kurt Kobane, and DJ Quik.

So in Love is about how Danny Boy is so deep in love with this beautiful lady that is irresistible.

Danny Boy doesn't know what you she has got or what keeps her on his mind. He just knows that she can do the things she does to him each and every single time. He is so in love with her.

She needs Danny Boy’s love. He’ll be right there by your side. Danny Boy tells her, “ You don't have to be so particular with me, honey. I’m the one who's beggin' this time. 'Cause I'm so in love with you, baby.

Yet there are time when Danny Boy thinks that she can’t understand their love. He doesn't think she does sometimes. Danny Boy keeps telling her that she is the one who's gonna be with him through endlеss time. To the end of time.

Ooooooh tell me can you understand me girl
I don't think you do sometime
I keep tellin' you that you're the one
That who's gonna be with me through endlеss time

It’s All About U sounds like a Jodeci song which makes sense because Devante Swing produced the song. The Vocoder (voice box) used in the middle of the song is what makes the song very hot and steamy.

I know that sounds outdated but understand it’s a 90s song. Devante Swing produced and arranged a genius breakdown at the 2:12 mark. The song was recorded during the analog days from tape into the console and other keyboard gear. That’s why that song sounds the way it does.

The G-Funk Remix of Steppin' called Steppin' [G-Funk Remix] was a reprise to Something to the Mood and was produced by DJ Quik and G1. The song is a smooth upbeat soul song perfect for a late night.

Do Me is a smooth Donell Jones and Jodeci sounding love song with sultry production. Without a doubt, Do Me would’ve had a classic R&B single on Death Row if it was officially released. Death Row fucked up by not making this song be a single. His vocals fit in perfectly with the harmonies and melodies.

5/5*****!!
