Swing Republic - Back in Time EP EP review

Swing Republic - Back in Time EP is one of the lesser known electro swing releases which is criminally underrated. This swinging electro swing release from Swing Republic has that vintage jazz sound over modernized electronic production and songs which follow an uptempo pace nonetheless. So expect to hear some upbeat swinging jazz. Swing Republic took us back in time as they experimented with swing and big band. All while using the electronic technology of the future. Their songs use a dedicated balance between contemporary electronic music and vintage swing influences. That is how their songs use a dedicated balance between contemporary and vintage.

Swing Republic took us back in time as they experimented with swing and big band on the titular track Back in Time. The song uses a dedicated balance between contemporary electronic music and vintage swing influences. Jazz meets electronic music in other words. Scat lyrics are used during various portions/parts of the song.

Swing Republic will bring you back in time with this song of theirs. The song will make you shake and smile. So bring that cooler style tonight as they bring the rhythm of yesteryear and swing to retro ears. Where all the cool cats and dolls go to be obscene. They ain’t got no chairs and no tables. Just move your feet. Back in time.

Their rhyming scheme is perfect on this song. Specifically these lyrics to Verse 1. Notice how the ending words used the suffix “-ear”. “Rhythm of yesteryear/Swing my retro ear”

Here We Go is about a gentleman and lady who fall in love out of temptation and energy.

This gentleman and lady got a thing in common. The lady feels the heat when she looks in his eyes. How can she be a fool and miss this gentleman when she doesn’t even really know him? She feels this temptation every day on a daily basis undoubtedly. She is so lost in this energy. She tries to be cool but it’s too late. This lady is burning up and he ignites her flame!

The lady tells the gentleman how she feels the heat whenever she looks at him and how she in love with him by saying, “You and I got a thing in common. Feel the heat when I look in your eyes. How can I be a fool and miss you when I don’t even really know you? Everyday feel this temptation. I’m so lost in this energy. Try to be cool, but baby, it’s too late. I’m burning up and you ignite my flame! Here we go! I'm in love. I'm in love! Wooh oh no! I'm in love. I'm in love again!”

The lady asks the gentleman questions which are, “What do you think would happen if I took your hand and then put it on me? Stop a sec! What is this?” She is saying she used to be such a good girl. Of course she knows he feels the temptation everyday.

The Big Band Theory is wordplay on “The Big Bang Theory”. You have a jazz take on the concept of the The Big Bang Theory which is appropriately titled “The Big Band Theory” given that this is a jazz song on an electro swing EP. The big band jazz sound of the 1930s and 1940s is prevalent on this song which is an instrumental.

Swing Republic - Long Legs EP EP review

Swing Republic - Long Legs EP is a swinging electro swing release from Swing Republic, one of the original pioneers of the Electro Swing sound. So one can expect to hear some upbeat swinging jazz songs which follow an uptempo pace. You have the vintage jazz sound over modernized electronic production. Swing Republic - Long Legs EP is one of the lesser known electro swing releases which is criminally underrated. Swing Republic is a Danish electro swing duo fronted by producer Per Edrup and vocalist Karina Kappel.

Long Legs about a long-legged lady who is a girlfriend to a gentleman that is harmful. She creates a scheme and plan to harm her man. She is daddy's little angel nonetheless.

This long-legged lady who is a gentleman’s girlfriend is alone in her living room. She is thinking about all the harm she wants to do. While she is in her living room, she is burning holes in old photos with a cigarette trying to get the world back. She never has no regrets. She is scheming and planning her man’s doom Twirling her hair while displaying a stoned up stare on her face as she's twirling the truth. This is lady is Daddy's little angel. Daddy's little angel alone in her living room.

Her man tells this long-legged lady who is his girlfriend, “Oh, don't you take it out on me, girl. Oh no. Won't you leave me alone now, my girl?” This long-legged lady has no intentions of ceasing her schemes. This long-legged lady has no intentions of letting him go and leaving him alone anytime soon.

This long-legged lady/girl has a smile and a grin. She sees that it's working. As she sees that it's working, her man is shivering out of fear. He is down on his knees as she has got him begging her to leave him alone. He begs to her saying, “Let it go and let me be me.” These lyrics show how their relationship is. “As she sees that it's working, I’m shiverin'/Down on my knees, got me beggin' her please”

She think this is cute with her superior style. She had him fooled for a while by her ambiguous smile. It's all in her head. The things she said were not true. Her man tells her she is delusional if she thinks he is not aware. Her man is very well aware of how toxic their relationship is, how he must break free in order to disassociate himself from her, and why he needs to break up with her.

The man tells this long-legged lady, “You think you’re kinda cute with you're superior style. Had me fooled for a while by your ambiguous smile. It's all in your head. It's not true what you said. You’re delusional girl if you think I'm not aware.”

Long legs are crawling all over the floor trying to find all the pieces of what was before. She is caught in a web reaching over her head.

Let Yourself Go is about dancing. It’s one of those relaxing upbeat swing jazz songs for you to listen to. The song is appropriate for the dance floor and perfect for a party. This song will make you want to enjoying yourself. Let Yourself Go is a cover of The Boswell Sisters - Let Yourself Go. Notice the classic vintage samples?

Come. Let’s get together. Let the dance floor feel your leather clothing. Step as lightly as a feather. Come hit the timber. Loosen up and start to limber. Now can't you hear that hot marimba? That hot marimba will make you want to dance. Why don't you let yourself go? Relax and let yourself go. You've got yourself tied up in a knot. The night is cold but the music's hot.

Na'shay – R U Ready album review

Na'shay – R U Ready is one of the rarer lesser known Ruthless Records releases which is quite obscure. Not too many people knew this digital album was released and streamed back in 2009. This is one of the rarer contemporary R&B albums. This album is filled with innocent teen pop and contemporary R&B appropriate for children. Brittany Nashay Watkins, professionally known as “Na’Shay,” is the type of teenager that epitomizes the phrase, “Positive Energy!” as she says.

My Mama Ain't Home is one of the more well known songs on the album. Na’Shay’s mother isn’t home. So she wishes she could invite her boyfriend over to her house because her mother isn’t home. She is hesitant to call her boyfriend to invite him over. You get the gist.

Na’Shay’s mother called and told Na’Shay that she wouldn't be coming home until late at night. But if she knew about Na’Shay and her boyfriend, she would surely be on her way. She doesn't think they would. Na’Shay is sitting at home and thinking by the phone wishing that her boyfriend was there with her because her mother isn’t home. She is hesitant to call her boyfriend to invite him over.

What would they do if Na’Shay let him into her room? Where do they go from here? Should she listen to her mother? Should she listen to what her mother said about having her boyfriend come over when she isn’t present there?

Na’Shay talks to her boyfriend on the phone. She tells him, “I don't know if I should let you come over tonight, baby.” Her boyfriend tells her, “She don't have to know if we keep it on the low.”

Here is how their conversation over the phone went and here is what was said.

Na’Shay’s boyfriend: Girl, I think it's time for you to break em down and kick it with me.
Na’Shay: I don't know if I should.
Na’Shay’s boyfriend: Or maybe I can come over and we can watch a little TV.
Na’Shay: I don't think we would.
Na’Shay: What would we do if I let you into my room? Where do we go from here? Should I listen to my mama sayin about havin you come on over when she ain't here?
Na’Shay’s boyfriend: Your mama just trippin cuz she know I wanna be your man
Na’Shay: She don't even know you that well.
Na’Shay’s boyfriend: Well while we are not around her she gon have to understand Just make sure you don't kiss and tell. She don't have to know if we keep it on the low.

Na’Shay finally makes a decision by giving into him pressuring her about him coming over to her house when her mother isn’t there. She invites her boyfriend over to her house when her mother isn’t around. Her mama is just trippin because she knows he wants to be Na’Shay’s man. Yet she don't even know her boyfriend (him) that well. While they are not around her mother, she is going to have to understand. Na’Shay has to make sure she doesn't kiss and tell.  She don't have to know if they keep it on the low.

Na’Shay never thought she would find true love or experience the meaning of true love. That is plot behind We Not Me.

Na’Shay never thought she would find somebody like him. She never thought she would find somebody to be true. She never thought someone could be this good to her. Someone who knows her every need. Na’Shay never thought that she would find love. Someone who was sent from above. That’s why she is telling him she is filled up with love.

I like the way that's sounding? Don’t you. Boy Na’Shay is down with his lovin. Just to say we not me. He makes her feel so sweet by his sound and smile.

Maniacal One – Who Am I / Muzick Hypnosis single review

Maniacal One – Who Am I / Muzick Hypnosis is one of the rarer lesser known Ruthless Records releases and singles which is quite obscure. Not too many people knew this single. This is an electronic single and not a rap single. This electronic single is similar to Prince and the NRG sound which you can hear in those beats and synthesizers. Far from the gangsta rap Ruthless Records was (in)famously known for. Clearly Eazy-E and Dr. Dre were obviously trying to cash in on the electro music craze which was popular during the 1980s. Pre-Jerry Heller of course. This single was pressed up on vinyl during the in the infancy of Ruthless Records when they were using Macola Records to press up vinyl releases. Just when you thought you knew and heard about every Ruthless Records release. You hear about this gem. Life is full of surprises.

Blulight – Blulight album review

Blulight – Blulight is an album with a unique blend of bass-bumpin' funk with urban "street" appeal. Blulight – Blulight is one of the rarer lesser known releases and R&B albums which never got released. The album was never released due to Eazy-E’s death and incompletion. The album was advertised in Billboard Magazine from 1995-1998. If their album had dropped it would have exploded!

Blulight was Ruthless Records first and only R&B group. A co-ed R&B group at that. This Los Angeles-based R&B group signed to Ruthless Records in 1996 by Tomica Wood-Wright.  Vivian Davis, Cory Cooke, and Swoop Brown were the members of Blulight. Vivian Davis is a "natural" talent who has the gift of song. Cory Cooke was and still sings in his father's church choir at Fort Mission Church in South Central Los Angeles. "Swoop" was raised in the theatre as his Mom was a professional dancer/choreographer. Blulight was managed by Robert Mitchell.

Some of you may remember that Blulight had a song that was used on the Set It Off Soundtrack called Sex Is On My Mind back in 1996. The song was used during one of the sex scenes with Blair Underwood. The song was a self-explanatory song about sexual intercourse.

Many have always wondered what Vivian Davis says in her adlibs. She did not say, “I just broke my condom”. She actually said, “I just bought my condo”. That was not actually was purpose. This was something the listeners misinterpreted. Her lyrics were never about not using condoms. There was never any subliminal messages either.

MC Ren - The Maxi Single single review

MC Ren - The Maxi Single is one of MC Ren’s rarest singles in his discography. The CD single was independently released and sold underground in Compton, California in 2004. The single had politically charged songs which showed signs of social consciousness such as America and Ghetto. That is where MC Ren comes with his politically charged realness. Ex-Ruthless Records signee Bigg Rocc can be heard all over the EP as he raps on all the songs. These songs would be later included on his Renincarnated/The Maxi Single EP.

MC Ren made a comeback in 2004 with his song Itz Nothin. MC Ren is a veteran in this rap game. So it’s nothing to him. This for mothafuckers growin' up in the ghetto.

MC Ren is the mothafuckin' boss nigga who spill at the villain. Presidents, dope dealers, the feds, and bitches are fuckin' with his head. What MC Ren’s gotta do is expose your ass with the realness of the world. Niggas are dyin' over the colors blue and red.

These lyrics serve as a symbolism of blacken-black violence. “Niggas dyin' over colors/Nigga blue and the red” This is his politically charged realness.

Gays and bitches on the mic be making him mad. Really who’s fuckin' with MC Ren? He’s with that nigga "Bigg Rocc" homey puffin' the green. Sick of the bitches always askin' why he loves weed. Then they got the nerve to ask what this is for. This for mothafuckers growin' up in the ghetto.

Bigg Rocc comes through reppin' while niggaz be half steppin’. Bigg Rocc will buy his own cheese. Smokin' in the Cali grease.

America explains how many African Americans are not free politically and socially in America. He discusses the mistreatment of African Americans in America of course.

Police sirens are heard at the beginning of the song. A dispatcher notifies all police units to be on the look out for a 16 year black male named John Doe. John Doe was last seen dippin' through Compton and the Watts neighborhood. The dispatcher warns police officers that he will shoot back. This is one example of how law enforcement views African Americans and what African Americans go through when dealing with law enforcement.

Bigg Rocc plays the role of a dispatcher during the intro to the song.

[Intro: Bigg Rocc]
Attention all units. Be on a look out.
John Doe, black male, 16 and certified.
Been on last seein' dippin' through Compton.
Then he was seein' dippin' through Watts.
We sent this mothafucker match head to L.A.
Don't shoot at this mothafucker, he'll shoot back.

MC Ren is that nigga that you've been warned about. That Villain talkin' nigga. He spits it with the best of them. And then shits it on the rest of them. He’s still that nigga for life.

Poor black people in America are taking chances by crappin' the dice lookin' for a better out (fiendin’) to make it. They say everybody is free in the America. However African Americans are still slaves culturally in America. Is it that fucked up in America? Ain't no love for the niggas in America.

Ghetto explores the grim realities of poverty.

MC Ren says there ain't no love for the niggas in the ghetto. Shit be fucked up when you live in the ghetto. It gotta be somethin' much better than the ghetto.

Bills are piling up and MC Ren just got laid off from his place of employment. He is in a dilemma.  But he’s gotta let these knuckle heads know that he ain't soft. Never will he try to swing in a gun fight. Police know the homies on a first name basis. So when something has happened, they the first ones to chase them.

Bigg Rocc knows nothing but the ghetto. He was born and raised in the streets of the Hub City of Compton, California. He smokes blunts to ease the kill of mentality when another motherfuckers tryin' to test me. He learnt to work with the strap.

MC Ren is thinking of the past. His nerve is drained. The Villain is sick and tired of staying in pain. That’s why he is tryin' to puff a blunt in the front seat of his car. But in the ghetto some niggas stick together to get through the bad weather while still chasin' cheddar. But haters appear out of sight.

Caravan Palace - Panic album review

Caravan Palace - Panic is one of those chaotic upbeat electro swing albums which will definitely make you want to dance. You have contemporary electronic music backed with vintage sounding jazz. This is evident on songs such as Queens, Rock It For Me, Dramophone, and Glory of Nelly. The album has a futuristic theme which revolves around robots. This is evident in songs such as Panic.

This lady is on the beat as she is out and about in this borough of New York City. It's a world where she has never been before. She is on the ramble for pleasure in search of "twins". That is what the song Queens is about. The song is a tribute to the New York City borough called Queens. Queens is a mid tempo electro swing song with big band style production similar to 1940s jazz. Notice how the vocals are muffled due to how the treble has been reduced.

The rhyming scheme is appropriately fitting for on this song. Specifically these lyrics. “Notice how the ending words used the suffix “-amble”. “My body's cold as I ramble/Ideas in shambles”

Queens is a place where nobody's looking for trouble. This lady is on the beat as she is out and about in this borough of New York City. It's a world where she has never been before. She is on the ramble for pleasure in search of "twins". She is looking to have a threesome with twins possibly. Her body's cold as she rambles. Those ideas of hers are in shambles. Facing walls that she never seen before. One thing this lady wonders is “Where are the dreamers gone?”.

Rock It For Me is a rambunctious electro swing song about the "bad boys" who want to fight in some brawl. However these "bad boys" aren’t as tough as they seem. They’re wimps.

All the "bad boys" want to fight in some brawl. And the girls enjoy watching the "bad boys" fight in the brawl. They feel so lucky to be able to watch the "bad boys" fight in the brawl. Yet someone is calling their mom when they lick the floor. These "bad boys" aren’t as tough as they seem. Basically they’re wimps. Look how those funky monkeys talk and walk in store. They're lost, sad, and brawny like an apple core. Who can believe that there will be some gore? With those wimps like I said before.

"Bad boys" are not so picky. They ride away and feel so happy to fight for girls they do adore.
Snorting like boars rolling on the floor with their leather jackets and their rocky voice. They hit, fight, kick, wreak havoc, and rejoice. Nobody knows what they are looking for. A kind of battle axe or maybe more.

Dramophone is about a pair of sassy sisters wearing racy garments such as but silk underwear. They are silly swingers who are swing dancers.

Dramophone is a uptempo electro swing song with vintage swing style production similar to 1940s swing jazz. The song Dramophone is played in the key of F minor (Fm). However a majority of the chorus is sung in the D key. Parts of the song progress and digress with the notes, chords, and keys of course. Notice how the vocals are muffled due to how the treble has been reduced.

A pair of sassy sisters are dressed in nothing but silk underwear. This pair of sassy sisters are silly swingers who often swing dance. They get your feelings under a spell somehow. Come and taste as sweet as can be. Say man, what's the matter? What's he doing standing up there shaking like that? The boys are gonna tell you what to do. Listen to them.

Clash is about partying. People are downing in the middle of the parties again. Getting the cool with the happy. Everybody talking about the power of the gospel. Seems to feel that beat you can't stop bouncing. In other words you can't stop bouncing to that beat and to feel that beat. Why don't we keep the rhythm just what it sounds? Now people wanna stop the frenzied happening. But I need you to stop the sound to get it right.

Caravan Palace - Chronologic album review

Caravan Palace - Chronologic gave a electro music a breath of fresh air with contemporary electronic music production and sound. Their sound is more modernized in comparison to their Panic album. In fact Caravan Place strayed far away from their usual electro swing roots by solely using modern electronic production and using a more electronic music based song.

About You is about how a big girl named Zoé Colotis who sweeps who sweeps a gentleman named Charles X off his feet due to her tall height and dominant traits. She dominates him in terms of height because she is a big girl who is taller than him when she doesn't wear her high heels. She doesn't give a damn about Charles X. He’ll never know how to deal with Zoé.

About You leans towards using a more electronic based sound rather than just solely using electro swing. The electronic based sound gives the song a modernized contemporary feeling. The song is a Zoé Colotis/Charles X duo.

Zoé Colotis is a big girl with cash and wheels. She is taller than her when she doesn't wear her high heels. She doesn't give a damn about her height. She doesn't give a damn that she is taller than Charles X when she doesn’t wear her high heels. Charles X will never know how to deal with Zoé. She doesn't give a damn about him. There is big trouble inside when she hits the spot. She likes to hang out and lay down her block. Zoé sweeps Charles X off of his feet due to her tall height and dominant traits.

Zoé Colotis tells Charles X, “Well, I'm a big girl with cash and wheels. I'm taller than you when I don't wear heels. And I don't give a damn. You'll never know how to deal with me. Big trouble inside when I hit the spot. I like to hang out, lay down my block. And I don't give a damn about you.”

Charles X admits that her high heels take him higher and sweep him off of his feet. He is taken aback by her tall height as her height difference is something he very aware of. She dominates him in terms of height because she is a big girl who is taller than him when she doesn't wear heels. He loves when Zoé wears her high heels.

Charles X persuades Zoé to let her talk not take him under. He asks her to give him one night to keep him over. What he really intends on doing is taking her on higher level of love and trust in their relationship.

This is what Charles X tells Zoé, “Still, will you let me over so your talk won't take me under? Now can you give me one night to keep me over? So I can take you higher as the world goes up in fire”

Zoé tells Charles X she is a tough girl who doesn't need anybody. She does not need a gold digger, a sugar baby, or a sugar daddy to be in her life. Zoé tells Charles X he’ll never know how to deal with her. She also tells him that she won’t be the loser if he still wants to play the game. Everyone knows Zoé would never choose Charles X to be her man. She tells him that she does not give a damn about him. She also tells him he cannot find a proper way to please her.

Zoé turns Charles X by saying, “But I'm a tough girl and don't need anybody.N ot a gold digger. Not a sugar baby I don't give a damn about. You'll never know how to deal with me. Still wanna play the game? I won't be the loser. Everyone knows I would never choose ya. I don't give a damn about you. Can't find a proper way to please me.”

Charles X asks Zoé to help him as he cannot help the way he feels about her. He never said to her that his love was foolproof. But Zoé knows that he know that she love him. This is something he is fully aware of.

Charles X asks Zoé to help him. He asks her, “Can you help me? And if the car comes equipped with a moon roof, then the stars will surely help with the mood we're in now. I can't help the way I feel. Because I never said that my love was foolproof. But you know that I know that you love me too, now.”

He also asks Zoé, “Still, will you let me over so your talk won't take me under? Now can you give me one night to keep me over? So I can take you higher as the world goes up in fire”

Melancolia deals with the pressure of dealing with fame and how being famous is not all what it’s cracked up to be. Living the famous life is not always glamorous and glorious.

Zoé remembers driving her 80 kilometer (50 mile) journey. She saw no lines on her way while driving down the road. She was feeling guilty and losing ground as she was on her high bar. Zoé was setting up her own shame and self-pity. What Zoé wanted was to do was bring back her old flame or she would be long gone. She was just not getting used to all the things she pushes through. In other words she feel unplugged from life itself. Suicide is something Zoé contemplates on doing. There are no more words she can use to explain how she feels.

She was up ahead. No one could've chased her as she going at a high speed when she was driving down the road. Zoé didn't feel that fame would change me. She was facing old fears. Losing more sleep. For whatever the reason(s) may be or may have been, Zoé’s life of fame is now gone. She should've seen it coming her way because nothing lasts forever. What a lifetime.

The lyrics explain how the famous life is not always glamorous and glorious. And how it’s not all cracked what it’s to be.

[Pre-Chorus: Zoé Colotis]
Anyway, I'm setting up my own shame
Bring me back my old flame
Or I'll be long gone, love me world
Just not getting used to
All the things I push through
I feel unplugged, no more words

[Chorus: Titus]
I was up ahead, no-one could've chased me
Going high speed, didn't feel that fame would change me
Facing old fears, am I gonna stay here?
Losing more sleep
Surely gonna die before I wake
I was up ahead, no-one could've chased me
Going high speed, didn't feel that fame would change me
What a lifetime, nothing lasts forever
All is gone now, should've seen it coming my way

Zoé sees how much her fanbase misses her. She is writing lines every day even if there is nothing to say. Yes, she is feeling guilty. She was aiming so far and was feeling awesome herself.

Waterguns explains how the members of Caravan Palace will fun using water guns. The song is about being young and carefree. They tell us to be young in the present moment and to be carefree. That is why the song Waterguns has a carefree vibe, feeling, mood, and sound. Overall Waterguns has a youthful nostalgic theme. Think about how you live and think about what you give is the message of the song.

Has anybody ever shared the news? You ain't as big as you say. Tom Bailey of Caravan Palace has got a vision worth something in him. He is not too worried about a thing. So tell him what you really believe in. Always caught up in your own mind. He’s got a feeling that something's about to change.

Tom Bailey says the members of Caravan Palace will be dumb soon save the world. So we should be young right now. We would be more fun with waterguns.

Has anybody ever shared the news? Two can live in different ways without a care and with nothing to prove. Not too worried about a thing. Everything's gonna be alright. Be young in the present moment and be carefree. So we should be young right now. Think about how you live and think about what you give. Think about how we lived together. Think about being kids forever. Just think about this. Remember. We would be more fun. We will be dumb soon. We would be more fun with waterguns.

Plume is a bright electro swing song about having a good time.

The lyrics at the very beginning of Plume are in Spanish. Compare the Spanish lyrics to the English lyrics below.

[Spanish lyrics]
Mira hacia el cielo pajarillo
Hasta que puedas alcanzarlo
Hambre, miedo, frío alondrita
Ya se acaba tu calvario
Pajarito

[English lyrics]
Look up to the sky little bird
Until you can reach it
Hungry, afraid, cold lark
your ordeal is over
Birdie

When riding on my feathers, I can lead you through the patterns we now follow. Lying on the floor, life between us lights a solid afterglow. We are gonna have a good time. Waving by and by. Oh we found fun over there. I'll take you to the sun all the way. It’s gonna be crazy all night. I can see us through the starry night when riding on your feathers. Our shadows are high above the floor like two demons trying to find a brighter soul.

Caro Emerald – Just One Dance single review

The single Caro Emerald – Just One Dance has 2 swinging upbeat jazz numbers that will make you want to dance. The upbeat jazz numbers are Just One Dance and I Know That He's Mine. The single was released and issued as limited edition 7” inch vinyl for Record Store Day in 2012.

Caro is a burlesque performer who has been eyeballing a man she wants to have one dance with. Caro knows that the man she has her eyeballs on and has been eyeing is the one. That is the plot of Just One Dance.

Caro asks this handsome man who she’s been eyeballing if he would like to dance with her. She’s been watching him since the moment he arrived. He is wearing expensive flashy clothing which is a white suit from London and shoes from Paris. A silk tie from Siam which displays and shows elegance and class. She asks him for the time. “Hey, handsome. Have you got the time?” “Don't you wanna spend about an hour with me?”

The scent and the aroma refuses to breathe. It's more like a haze that's trying to succeed. His scent is what’s drawing her in and pulling her to him. And every thought she has turns the language blue.

All it costs for him to dance with Caro is $1 dollar and 1 minute. She’ll make his dreams come true in  one dance. She tells him, “All it costs is just a minute now. For one dollar you can show me how. I'll take your hand and then your worries too. In just one dance I'll make your dreams come true. But underneath the mask I see the skin of a man smooth and seductive who's really got a plan. It's drawing me in magnetically to you.”

She doesn't know why he plays hard to get. Caro is here to kiss away any thoughts of regret. She says to him, “Don't know why you play hard to get. I'm here to kiss away any thoughts of regret. A silk tie from Siam shows elegance and class. Handsome as the heavens that a film would never cast.”

He is handsome as the heavens that a film would never cast. But underneath the mask she sees the skin of a man who is smooth and seductive. A man who's really got a plan. It's drawing her in magnetically to him. Caro is like the smoke on his fire. Smoldering endless desire. How long will his flame burn?

Caro knows that the man loves genuinely loves her clearly. That is what I Know That He’s Mine is about.

It’s 3 o'clock (3 PM) on a late Sunday morning. The candles have burned to their end. She found the pictures they’ve taken. And now she has awaken and sleep's her invisible friend. So she’s staring the hands off her wall clock. Seems both of them just hang around. Sadly she’s got no one to warm her and nothing to hold. Her body needs what it doesn't have.

Without him she really doesn't mind. However it is a little bit lonely. But he'll make up in time as long as he loves Caro. He'll answer to his crime. The door stays wide open. Caro knows that he's hers.

The tracks of her tears keep on freezin’. Caro is now melting the cold in the halls. There's no one around. Perhaps if she played the seductress, a passionate woman of guile, then he'd be there in a minute. The heat won't diminish. He'd wear nothing more than a smile.

Charlie keep singin' that chanson pop music. Your words always make so much sense. And though they're in French, Caro has got no defense. She knows that she is reaching the end. He's right around the corner. He knows that Caro is home now.
