Electric Swing Circus - Electric Swing Circus album review
The Electric Swing Circus album is a fusion of saucy 20's swing and stomping electro beats with sound that reverberates back through time. Swing jazz and the sound of big band both meet each other on this album. The horn section is absolutely beautiful. Now most of the drums and beats you hear are quite modern as they have been electronically processed and filtered.
ESC is the Electric Swing Circus theme song. The song is filled with swing jazz and vintage big band samples from the 1920s. The muffled horn section gives ESC a vintage big band jazz feeling with the production and sound. The horn section is absolutely beautiful. Bella Belle about this girl named Bella Belle who is soft and smooth like caramel. The boys all love Bella Belle. However this girl named Bella Belle is trouble.
Here is the storyline of the song from the third person point of view/third-person narrative.
A man is on the train to see and visualize how it's all the same. He is looking out the window pane. And then sees amongst the gray and rain.
He thinks about his wife again. He can smell her cooking. He longs for that woman’s cooking. But then he sees a foot and a leg of another girl. He feels attracted as he scrambles like a scrambled egg. She walks by his seat. He wants to weep and beg. This girl is lookin' good!
She dropped her lipstick on the floor. Her lipstick rolled along the corridor. She now heads for the bathroom door. He follows her blindly to the women’s bathroom. He knocked upon the pearly gate. Before you know it, it's too late as this girl knocked his teeth out for following her to the women’s bathroom. She thinks he is a pervert. He took the apple and ate a big ol' bite!
He now falls in love with her. So he introduces himself to her. This girl said her name was Bella Belle. She was soft and smooth like caramel. However this girl named Bella Belle is trouble. Can you tell? And one by one the boys all yell, "Let me be ya fella 'cause you're looking mighty swell, Belle"
She's so sweet enough to eat. He has a fetish for her feet. He was incomplete without her. You can tell he loves her dearly. But he knows she's all alone. She never nags and she never moans. Bella Belle tells the man he is her precious stone.
He shines up nice! Now they married under the apple tree. You're sure you're who you wanna be? But now it's on. He feels so guilty about being married to her. He wishes he could resign away and not have gotten married to her. Or find a way to hide away. He knows the little runaway has strangled him.

Harvey is about man named Harvey who works in the circus. He makes the magic happen with animals.
Harvey works in the shadows. He waits in the wings. Miracle make and the magic begins beneath a lamppost as he beckons you near with a furry white claw and magnificent ears. It might be a bat or a rhinoceros. Maybe a horse or a pet octopus. But I think it's rather convenient to find a friend in the circus of your mind. What will you do when he comes for you? What will you do when that pooka chooses you? So don't be afraid to follow his lead. He'll show you the ropes of our reality. He ain't gonna hurt you. Not in the least. So a toast to a most benevolent beast.
So, here's to you, Harvey. Raise a glass to old Harvey. The weaver of dreams. The stopper of clocks. The unpicker of seams.
Where will I be when he comes for me? What will I see when that pooka chooses me? Don’t be scared of ghosts in the night. Lap it all up with delicious delight. An ocean of time where we can run free. In our grand fantasy.

This man has got no carriage but he's got his song. He’s got no money but he's got his soul. He’s got no silver to his name. Basically he’s got nothing but he's got his soul.
Minnie is a modern take on the jazz classic Cab Calloway - Minnie the Moocher. However the lyrics are altered. This is because Electric Swing Circus used their own lyrics for the song. You heard the story. Now this is the song.
Folks, here's a story 'bout Minnie the Moocher. She was a red-hot hoochie-coocher. She was the roughest and toughest frail. But Minnie had a heart as big as a whale. She was a good girl but men have done her wrong. Now they took away. They put the crazies. Now poor Minnie is kickin' up them daisies. She was a good girl but they've done her wrong.
Put Your Smile On is about a woman not being able to find the perfect guy. There is not enough time for this man and woman to make their relationship work because the romantic possibilities were strangled at birth.
There is not enough time for this man and woman to make their relationship work despite the romantic possibilities. The romantic possibilities were strangled at birth. Now he tells her that he want her. That only makes it worse. There’s nothing she can do.

Her mother tells her to put her lipstick and smile on as she has to dance to the rhythm in order to sing the song. Her mother asks her, “What happened to the perfect guy? Now put your lipstick on. Now put your smile on. You gotta dance to the rhythm. Gotta sing to the song.”
She sees his face the moment that they climb up the stage. Yet she feel the sadness welling up. So she brushes the sadness away. They smile and dance to music to help to soothe their pain. But her head and heart keep spinning in the mess they made. Dancing is addicting. Her nicotine distracts her from everything that’s hurting her.
Her man later tells her, “I’m sorry that I wasn’t who you'd thought I’d be. I’m sorry that you thought that you could count on me.”
Ruby is a short acoustic electro swing song which is backed by a guitar and lively horns. This song is one of their lesser known songs.

Here in the jungle I can be so free. Holding the papayas from the papaya tree. So bounce with me to the bongo beat. Deep in the jungle is where I wanna be! When the music starts to play. You got to swing then you got to sway. You got to swing from the jungle from tree to tree. Swing your hips and tap your feet to that jungle beat and now bounce right back to that jungle beat.
Everybody Wants To Be A Cat is about how everyone wants to be that cool person that knows what’s hip and trendy.
Everybody wants to be a cat because a cat's the only cat who knows where it's at. Everybody's pickin' up on that feline beat because everything else is obsolete. You can set music back to the caveman days. Heard some corny birds trying to sing. But a cat's the only cat who knows how to swing. Who knows where it's at. When playing jazz he always has a well command because everybody needs a swinging cat.

Electric Swing Circus - It Flew By album review
The Electric Swing Circus - It Flew By album is a fusion of saucy 20's swing and stomping electro beats with sound that reverberates back through time. Scuttlebutt is about rumors and gossip.
Can we reveal a validation? I know that's what I'm looking for. A flicker of the flame so scandalous. A full on the fiction feed to us. A scuttlebutt. A puppeteer of the population. Would you be so inclined to tell me where you get your information?
Well we seem to require a scuttlebutt interpretation. Who are you trying to fool? We haven't even got any clue. There are so many sides that I get confused. You dig a little deeper to uncover the truth. You fell down that rabbit hole. The deeper you go down!
Golden Hour is about how we get caught up with living in the moment sometimes.
A story that unfolds this way is only bound to be away Illuminating our concern. Exaggerated when the light hits you that way. Was it comfy under the wing? Your sacrifice to reign supreme? But it’s easy to forget its over now in the golden hour. We get caught up with living in the moment.
You're back here for trouble again. We know just what you're like. We see you struggle when you squeeze your way into my life and other people’s lives. Time to quit your wriggling. When will you be satisfied? Now I see you in another light due to such ecstasy in my escape. The light hits you that way. It's easy to forget it's over now.
Here is what the song Mr. Magpie is about. Mr. Magpie is a deceptive man who into certain things for the thrill of the chase.
Mr. Magpie is a very deceptive man. He'll learn your face by heart. But you'll be in black and white in his eyes. Playing the part to memorize the lines. In the flick of a feather, he flies to your side. Mr. Magpie won't change his ways. Mr. Magpie was in it for the thrill of the chase. This is because he is a thrill seeker. I saw it coming. I should've raised the alarm. Girl, are you gonna be another victim of his charm?
He is making waves in the same old way. Times are changing yet he is still playing the same old game. Recognize the way that he moves. It's the very same lines that took a hold of you. Could you dismiss and deny while his eye's on the prize? Why would you give it up? Why cut a deal with his desire? Times are changing yet he still is playing the same old game. Mr. Magpie was in it for the thrill of the chase. Recognize the way that he moves. The same old game in the same old way.
Why would you give it up? Why would you give it all away? Why would you give it up now? Why would you give it all away now?
Mamacita is about a little mama who is a danger. This little mama. She wore a flower in her hair. She's a friend of beauty too. You better believe that she's a Mamacita. She'll make you plead insanity. She's a little ripper on the tambourine. Especially when she plays that melody on her guitar. I see that you keep coming back for another taste. Why won't you satisfy yourself again?
