The album has that trademark dark Memphis sound. Everything in this album fits together perfectly. You have the most gangsta tracks such as Watch Out For Da Click and Kickin N Doors. This is one of the best DJ Sound albums of all time.


Watch Out For Da Click uses some haunted chilling basslines and bells over rigid crunched synths over lo-fi soundscapes. Those basslines make the song haunting especially over those lo-fi soundscapes. Watch Out For Da Click warns us to watch out for the Frayser Click. This is some deep Frayser shit and playa shit. Real nigga shit. One of the most gangsta tracks on the album.

Niggas betta watch out for the click because this shit is thick as ever. Frayser shit and playa shit. That's what pimpin's all about.

DJ Sound - Negative Thoughts is yet one of the many legendary Memphis rap albums from the mid-1990s. DJ Sound displays and showcases his legendary ethereal beats throughout the album with his production. Listen to the beats. Those beats were way ahead of their time. His sound was visionary compared to other rap that was coming from Memphis during that time. The album has that trademark dark Memphis sound. Everything in this album fits together perfectly. Negative Thoughts is just as good as the Hatred album is. That is no coincidence given how both albums were released during the same year.


I.N.T.R.O. is the muthafuckin' intro, bitch. Yes this shit is bumping, mane. DJ Sound's Intro is quite esoteric, whimsical, and violent in nature.

DJ Sound is gettin' fucked up with his nigs' in the click.They ain't takin' no bullshit. They are servin' junkies and slangin' dope. When you caught in the wrong, your ass die by the rope. Or by these haymakers or the fuckin' pistol. He won't fuck with you if you don't fuck with him. But a lot of bustas seem to always fail the test.

See DJ Sound is the quiet type. Layin' low in the cut and on the creep.DJ Sound is making these niggas drop it off or catches them while they’re sleep. Frayser Click Is Getting Thick is about the Frayser Click is getting thick in this rap game and drug game. Mad Maine says the Frayser Click is gettin' thick and the posse is gettin' thicker. DJ Spanish Fly – Black Radio album review

DJ Spanish Fly – Black Radio is one of the most overlooked Memphis rap albums of 2001 which hardly got any recognition or credit deserved. That signature trademark dark Memphis sound is used throughout the album. Thick beats over lo-fi eerie synths coming from the original king of Memphis underground rap. Type 1 tapes make bass sounds lot more bombastic. Classic junts such as Smokin Onion, Triggamanzz Revenge, Buckdance G Walk Jukin, Playin On Deez, and Shot Gun are included.

Triggamanzz Revenge is a follow-up to the Memphis rap classic Trigga Man. The song is quite dark, esoteric, graphic, and violent. The song is about a serial killer getting revenge. Trigga man got away before his family died. Trigga man is running but he can't hide. Ask him where he at. If he say he don't know, pull the trigga fast. Time is running out. Don't let him see you.

Smokin Onion is about smoking an ounce of marijuana. Smokin onion is Memphis street slang for smoking marijuana. Onion is Memphis slang for ounce. DJ Spanish Fly refers to smoking an ounce of some kind of drug throughout Smokin Onion. That what the lyrics “smoke that onion, keep on smoking that onion” are a reference to.

Uzi Tool is one of the more violent but slower junts on the album. Niggas tryna act cool. DJ Spanish Fly got the Uzi Tool. Black Heaven is down with the baddest. I heard you was jealous. So now DJ Spanish Fly carries a fucking Uzi Tool. He’ll blow your ass away with that Uzi Tool. But all the time a nigga tryna get a little bigger. Rolling round Memphis like they ain't doin' shit. Stick into this music living by the fucking trigger. Now how many niggas wanna act real bad? So don't even try that shit. That's the reason why he tolds his Uzi Tool.

The Jacksons - Goin' Places is the most over looked Jacksons album of all time in their career as a family singing group. Even more than their self-titled album which was released in 1976. The album spawned hits such as the positive cheerful worldly Goin' Places, the joyful Jump for Joy, and the danceable Music’s Takin’ Over. Michael and Tito take over on the vocals once again.


The Jacksons explain how music is an/plays an integral part in people’s lives on their song Music’s Takin’ Over. Music’s Takin’ Over  is about how music can take your soul over and make you want to dance as well Music is a teacher that can teach you right from wrong because if you listen closely there's a lesson in the song. This is one of their more dance oriented songs of course.

Goin’ Places was the upbeat popish hit song which used a dash of funk with the horns section and drums. Michael Jackson truly shined as he had a huge vocal presence and role throughout the song. He really stood out sporadically. The song was a #9 hit on the Billboard for weeks back in 1977.

A few people have misinterpreted the lyrics to the chorus over the years. I know I have because I was one of those people who misinterpreted the lyrics over the years. I always thought the lyrics to the chorus were,

Jump for Joy is the bright and joyful pop song on the album filled with happiness and joy. The Jacksons explain how people have misunderstandings and how people put values in the wrong things in life. This is all a frame of mind state.

People have misunderstandings of what life is all about. They put values in the wrong things. They lose out in happiness which comes along in/with life. Being happy is a feeling. A frame of mind. Pleasure Seekers is a new Electric Swing Circus album with modernized production for 2022. Their sound is more modernized on this album in comparison to their other albums. Yet Electric Swing Circus stayed true to their roots by solely using a dedicated balance between contemporary electronic music and vintage swing influences. Pleasure Seekers gives electro swing a breath of fresh air with contemporary production and sound.


To Russia for Love is about a man who is a Secret Service agent who got a call to fly to Russia. He's heading to Russia for love.

A man who is a Secret Service agent who got that call to fly East to Russia where there was a sense of danger around every corner. In a land drenched in mystery. He has been sent on a mission tonight. Imagine what it would be. Living life inside the Secret Service while on a mission. He’s got a job to do. Don't act suspicious as this agent is hired out to kill. He is so deadly with his charm. He's heading to Russia for love. A call from above Your secret is safe. He won't give it away.

Then this lady appeared out of nowhere. She's beautiful. Now that means troublе. He doesn't need a distraction such as her because he's got a job to do. His world is so pristinе while on a mission in a land drenched in mystery with his charm deadly so. He never blows his cover. Don't let him catch you.


Expectations explains how people set their standards too high. It's just trial and error.  Sometimes you have got to pick it up and just start again.
