Avril Lavigne - Smile single review

The Smile single by Avril Lavigne is one of the best rock singles of 2011. The single uses whole album uses a balanced portion of rock and cheery girly pop. The whole single is a fusion of pop rock. Avril Lavigne marked herself again as an international pop sensation.

Avril shows her gratitude and expresses thanks on Smile. She expresses gratitude for that special person in her life.

You know that Avril is a crazy bitch. She does what she wants when she feels like it. All Avril wants to do is loose control. But you don't really give a shit. Avril is fuckin' crazy rock 'n' roll. He stole Avril’s heart and he’s the one to blame. And that’s why Avril has a smile. It's been a while since everyday and everything has felt this right for. And now he turns it all around. And suddenly he is all Avril needs.

Last night Avril blacked out. She asks him what he put in her drink. “What did you put in my drink?” She remembers makin' out and then waking up with a new tattoo. His name was on her and her name was on him. She would do it all over again.

What The Hell (Bimbo Jones Remix) is an EDM remix of her 2010 hit What The Hell with high quality modern electronic elements and loud chords.

What The Hell showcases the more popish and sassy side of Avril Lavigne. The song lightens up the mood for her album. The acoustic guitars are stripped down with pianos to an upbeat tempo. She’s tired of being a good girl and following the rules all the time. She’s not afraid of being reckless or the consequences that come along with being reckless.

Her boyfriend say that she has been messing with his head because she was making out with his friend. Love hurts whether it's right or wrong. Avril can't stop because she is having too much fun. But honestly Avril just needs to be a little crazy. Her boyfriend is on his knees begging Avril to stay with him. He is begging her, "Please, stay with me."

Avril has been good all her life, but now she’s thinking, "What the hell?" All Avril wants is to mess around, be sassy, and reckless. She really couldn’t care less about his feelings or your feelings. You can't save her.

So what if she go out on a million dates? Her boyfriend never calls or listens to her anyway.  She’d rather rage than sit around and wait all day for his ass. Don't get her wrong. Avril just needs some time to play because she has been good all her life. Avril could care less if you hate or love her.

Her boyfriend say that she has been messing with his head. She tells him, “Boy, I like messing in your bed.” She clearly just wants to fool around and have sex with him.

She also tells him, “I am messing with your head when I'm messing with you in bed.”

Miguel Migs - Shaping Visions album review

Miguel Migs - Shaping Visions is one of the lesser known underground electronic albums from electronic producer Miguel Migs. The album has songs with sensual vibrations and beautiful melodies such as Sensations, Midnight Memories, Promises, Restless Nights, and Mood Lights.

Midnight Memories is about Miguel’s memories of midnight when he plays the blues. Miguel Migs is playin' the blues and it hits you like a bombshell. It's so fucking inviting. He play clubs until 2 o'clock in the morning. That’s 2 AM. Then he goes from there to a house party and continues to play until daylight comes at  8 o'clock in the morning. That’s 8 AM. And all the people wanna party. The police run us out.

The song Sensations has vibrations, sensations, and feelings you can feel in your body like midnight rain. You can feel it all over your body now.

When you look around, you can see the dark pass on by. Drift into the edge of the day. Just like the sunlight. Moving to your own beat under the streetlights Fade into a vision and close your eyes tonight. You feel this sensation in your body. It's takin' you home back where you belong. But you just can't stay long.

You need and crave someone’s physical touch in this lost and lonely world. Do you remember how it sounds? Do you know? Memories all around. Midnight rain is fallin'.

Promises explains how it's hard to look away from the future light outside when there are too many promises being made or have been made. But tonight so many promises disappear inside your sunrise. Think about it.

It's hard to look away from the future light outside when there are too many promises being made or have been made. But so many promises disappear tonight inside your sunrise. Think about it. Everything you say. All the voices drift in. They carry you away. You think you know the time but it passеs by you. It's hard to look away from the future light outside when there are too many promises being made or have been made.

You can hear the thunder and see the lightning. It's talkin' to you. You wanna make it outside and find the sunlight. You try to believe the promises. Too many promises. I can hear them. Think about it. Can you feel it?

Silver Sun is one of the sublime songs with a laid back feeling and vibe. The explains why you should let the silver sun guide you on your destiny through life.

Lookin' for so long. Feel it in the air. Wherever we're goin’, time will take us there as deep as the ocean. Like a memory. A diamond light falls over you and me. Let the silver sun take you away and feel the night lighting up the sky now. Let the silver sun show you the way in the diamond light. In the silver sun.

Whatever you're feeling, just take a step back. It's not about winning. What you give, you can't take back. And I want you to see that I'm movin' in my own way. Free like a Saturday. These lyrics explain how you want someone to see you are moving freely and independently. “And I want you to see that I'm movin' in my own way/Free like a Saturday.”

Let the silver sun take you away and guide you on your destiny through life. Feel the night lighting up the sky now. You feel free under the silver sun. And I feel free. Free like a Saturday. I'm movin' through the night in the diamond light.

Restless Nights explains how Miguel can see restless nights running through his mind during one of those restless nights.

Miguel can see the light. The light shines from a distance. The city stays awake through the night if you listen. Moving through the sky. Fall into space where the colors fly through the hazy days and the changing ways. Miguel sees restless nights running through his mind during one of those restless nights. Deep in the night.

Those blinding lights and sleepless nights are what’s bothering him. He’s gotta make his way into the future. That’s why he is moving faster than yesterday. He is chasing time deep in the night. So he can't slow down. The future is now.

It's a long way to make it there. After all the secrets going through your head if they let you rest. Sirens everywhere are lighting up the air. He’s gotta face the tide. The city comes alive during those restless nights. He just can't close his eyes.

To The Other Side is one of those songs about searching for a brighter day. We all want better days. It’s just another cloudy day and you’re looking for an answer. Still you gotta try and find a way. I can see in your reflection here. You wanna make it to other side. We can make it there you know. And if it's alright, we could take our time. Tell me what you're thinking.

Into The Red Sky is about leaving those problems you have in your life into the red light and under the sunrise.

Maybe you need reminding. We're runnin' out on the highway under the open sky. I know it's been a while You said you wanna get away and everyone needs some time away (off). So tell me when you wanna go. You've been playing it in your mind. Leave those problems you have in your life into the red light and under the sunrise. I know it's been a whilе.

We can believе and imagine into another day. Feeling a sweet sensation rising above the tide. Everything's alright. Like the color of the sky. Not underneath the shadows where everything comes alive. Into the red light. Under the sunrise. Leavin' it all behind. You don't wanna turn back now. I can see. I don't wanna turn back now.

Back Tonight explains how we want to break free from everything. Sometimes people can bring you down.

I just wanna be there for you. Come around back to me. I gotta break free from everything. Sometimes people can bring you down. We wanna break free from everything. That’s how it is in life.

Bring it back tonight. This is where I wanna be. Take me back tonight. Something to remind me. This is where you’ll find me. We can bring it back to this. More than just reminiscing. I can feel what you're thinking. We'll keep holding on to this feeling until they turn off the lights.

Running With You is about change precious moments in life such as moments with lovers.

Chasing a feeling is about change those emotions. Time is standing while we speak. Are we just playing the part? Are we just playing the part while other moments still remain? Like the pieces fall apart, a piece of you falls apart. Other moments still remain like the pieces fall apart.

Running against the tide all night. Looking for the last light. The sun is goin' down and the lights are burnin' out. But tomorrow will come around? Feels like falling. You are looking’ back to brighter days. Those brighter days from yesterday. You’re chasing a feeling while running against the tide.

Just keep holding on. Nothing ever stays forevеr. You never know until it's gone. Lookin' at all the ways. Waiting for summer days to come. Everybody's waiting for something.

Mood Lights is one of those tracks that brightens up the mood for the album. You will get lost in the melody Miguel Migs produced. When the story's between the lines and when you're running out of pages to turn, you gotta break free. Until the mood is right with you. Until the morning light comes shining through.

Follow Through is about going through some changes. I see you going through some changes. And I will follow you anyway. Walk into the future. Find your way out there. Listen to the voices talking to you everywhere. Moving like a tidal wave. That takes you too far away. Lookin' back to yesterday. I can see from your house lookin' down over the city lights. There is so much here to think about. Just gotta believe in something. Movin' like a hurricane. Walk into the summer rain.

Chasing Time is Into The Red Sky revisited. The song is about leaving those problems you have in your life. Feel it in the rhythm. Before I Go explains what the message in Miguel Migs music is. The message of love is in his music. It plays in unity for everyone. But some people that just don't understand.

Miguel Migs - Colorful You album review

Miguel Migs - Colorful You is one of the more colorful funky electronic albums of 2002 with a groovy and sensual seduction. Miguel Migs uses his trademark sensational production on the album.

The Night is about a love affair.

Here in the night is a love affair. The feeling is right tonight is a love affair. The mood is right in the air. The mood is all right. Is it all right?

Here in the night is where they are. Spinning around just like a star. And like the rain the night will fall. Where the mood is all right. Deep in the night is this love affair. This love's bizarre and bitter sweet. They’ve gone far too deep is this love affair.

Think It Over details Miguel Migs encounter with the girl in the room above him. She claims she is an actor in movies and stars in drama.

There's a girl in the room above Miguel Migs. They pass by on the stairs. This girl claims she's in some new movie and she acts like she's still there. She says she's in love with Elvis and she's reading Baudelaire

Miguel went up one Friday night just to show his face and to be polite. Looking back now, all that he recalls is dancing on the ceiling to King Creole. He stayed up a flight and had woke up in the morning in a different light. Miguel opened his eyes and who should he see? The girl upstairs right next to him. He is in over his head. Again.

That girl in the room above Miguel plays at drama all the time. She thinks this is Brief Encounter. But Miguel can't even think of him lines. Miguel is in over his head again. He can't go back and he won't go down. He only want to hangs around. A voice comes in. It’s right on cue. Miguel can't help falling in love with her. Miguel is in over his head.

Lil Sko - U Know Tha Sko album review

Lil Sko - U Know Tha Sko is one of the tightest underground Memphis rap junts of 1998. The album is super flaked out with a touch of acid rap similar to MastaMind and Tommy Wright III. That makes sense given how this album was released by Tommy Wright III’s label. Lo-fi synths and low quality drums are what make the album brehsive.

Lil Sko bit off of Outkast’s Southernplayalisticadillacmuzik style on the song Playeristic Music. Lil Sko has got that Southern fried funkalistic music with production from Maceo and Tommy Wright III. Clear enough for your ears to hear Psycho and Lil Sko. And when they’re through Memphisizing, you'll be begging them for more.

Psycho gotta have that revenue. Kicking up shit with the showin' up crew. You might fall flat when Psycho pops that gat. That's the way he’s got to live. He wants a new Benz and a brand new crib. Chiefin hay everyday. Better run because niggas don't play with the cheese at dope spot. Hittin' on nigga if he had coke.

Psycho’s gotta have that cheese on time. Making his money with the crime on rhyme. If it don't make dolla’s, it don't make sense. Quit wasting his time and money that's spent. He has got the plan to pull out his .9 and rob the man. He’d rather rob niggas for cheese and do that with ease. Bustas ass niggas that think that they want to run up when he’s got that yak in his hand. Don't waste no time. Don't fuck with the clan.

Lil Sko wants to make his cheese quick and fast. Even if he has to make a dash for the cash. Day after day, play after play. Somehow, someway he wanna make the shit last. Showin' up niggas achieved and believed by him making that motherfucking money. The American Dream is as close as it seems. Like a junky on crack.

Even if Lil Sko has to sweat the blade to get paid. Showin' up niggas that steal to make meals. Stage rappers stay gauged. Nothing can save him. Counting up cheese from all bitches that a nigga dogged out. His minds all up to having something new. And this just goes to show that Lil Sko is serious about his money. Money make the motherfucking hood go round. Shit got thick and they still count profits. You gotta respect this showin' up click.

Miss White Cocaine is about how cocaine has tempted Lil Sko to do some crazy and devious shit. He develops the feeling to get ready to dump another a body and to get addicted to cocaine.

The intro to the song uses the flow and cadence of Rick James - Mary Jane. Notice how the lyrics are arranged.

[Intro]
What's her name, what's her name
What's her name, what's her name, Miss White Cocaine
What's her name, what's her name, Miss White Cocaine
She keep me up all night steady *sniff* and draining

One of Lil Sko’s personalities have been tempted him to do some crazy and devious shit. Like clicking and having the feeling to get ready to dump another a body and to get addicted to cocaine it seems. He is quick to grab his grip, pop in the clip, and take buster boys chip off the other side. He is ready to kill.

With a gun to his head, he's better off dead. No comments were made. Instead Lil Sko sprayed and  painted that redrum when that slug hit his dome. And his body just lay deep in that grave. Putting everybody that was there up first.

Homicidal tendencies be killing Lil Sko and Project Playa. Building up pressure releasing the work from their steam with schemes of serial killers.Project Playa is popping in clips and then making your life a dream. So devious believing it's real. Project Playa is hearing little voices telling him to kill. He is constantly tempted to take your soul. Let your life fly by and your body burn while the candles light up in the underground turn. I guess you haters will never learn.

Never fire on the man with the profit. Shoot the nigga behind the man so that nigga can't rob. K-Rock signed the contract. It’s just a matter of time before he cashes that check. You player haters can hate. He grab his AK, robs the boy, and shoots up the car with the Glock. What the fuck? Some nigga took his cocaine. So K-Rock will do another drive-by and merk him down.

Selby Hood - SHP album review

Selby Hood - SHP is the underground album on cassette that was only passed in the Selby neighborhood of Flint, Michigan back in 1992. That album did not leave Flint for obvious reasons. This album was intensely darker than their 1995 album Patience. SHP uses low quality eerie soundscapes with low budget synths, loud creepy eerie whines, and crunched drum patterns similar. Selby Hood even talked shit about King Hood Cykoz on the album on songs such as Bloody Sunday and Fuck Selby.

Here is the history behind the name to the album. SHP stood for Selby Hood Posse which was the name used for Selby Hood’s underground albums beginning in 1988. The name “Selby Hood Posse” eventually changed to Selby Hood Productions to avoid legal intervention. The name “Selby Hood Productions” would be later used on their 1991 album Get Yo Bootie Licked. Selby Hood Productions was the precursor of Black Sunshine Entertainment.

Bloody Sunday is a diss song aimed at rival gangs and rap groups such as King Hood Cykoz, Raw Deal, and Freaky Live. Bloody Sunday was a diss to the song King Hood Cykoz - Bloody Murda. Gargamel goes around Flint killing members of rival gangs and rap groups in the song.

Gargamel even says, "Blood stainz on my shoestrings" in the song also. This is said during these lyrics, “It’s Bloody Sunday and you niggaz wanna gangbang/Left niggaz dead/Now Bloodstainz on my shoestrings” Bloodstainz on my shoestrings is a reference to the King Hood Cykoz song Bloodstainz on my Shoestrangz.

You can also hear him saying the lyrics, “Niggaz really suicidal/Looney tunes cyko/Maybe you can try but say hi to my rifle”. Those lyrics are a diss to the King Hood rap group King Hood Cykoz. Ironically that is the same neighborhood where The Dayton Family is from.

Selby Hood had a lot of neighborhood rivalries in the city of Flint at that time. Selby Hood were rivals with King Hood during the 90s as well as the 80s. King Hood is GD territory (Gangsta Disciples aka GDs). Selby Hood is Vice Lord territory (VLs).

GD’s and Bloods (VLs) often beef due to being from different sides of the rag. Both neighborhoods were rivals with each other as they caught up in the gang politics. That is why Selby Hood and King Hood have beefing for a lot of years.

Bloody Sunday is one of the darker morbid songs on the album. Bloody Sunday uses low quality eerie soundscapes with low budget synths, loud creepy eerie whines, resonating bells, and crunched drum patterns similar to music from Mr. Maceo, Tommy Wright III, Esham, Steve Pitts, Gee Pierce, and The Dayton Family.

Gargamel gets that money. So don’t you panic. You can bump that iron but if you waste it your ass is dying. Gargamel breaks into some nigga’s house somewhere on Dayton Street. For whatever reason, they gotta die. He grabs his gat and peels their caps back.

Gargamel is a killa from Caniff Street. I thought you knew? He left 6 cops in bloody blue. Snitches gotta die. He’s selling dope to niggaz that gang bang. You better check it before you wake up dead. He is pumping booties with a Ruger and an AR-5. His uzi shoots straight fire.

The next thing that happened was Gargamel and his bitch creeped up Trumbull Drive. He lets his bitch drive. This is in case he needs to make a clean getaway. She took a right onto West Stewart Avenue past Trumbull Drive. She drove up Fleming Road to hit Fleming Park next. Gargamel and his bitch hit the strip on Clio Road on a Saturday night. Soon enough, you’ll get your shit split. You can try though. Say hi to Gargamel’s rifle. So niggaz attempt to try Gargamel but they end up dying.

Members from Selby Hood killed everybody on Sunday at a house on Fleming Street in Selby Hood through the usage of weapons such as AK 47’s and Tech 9’s. They shot up the whole block. Blood was everywhere.

These cops got Gargamel mad as he is shooting everywhere. He leaves them cops dead by turning blue into bloody red. Those police officers in blue be ganking drug dealers and drug users too. Again this is Flint where this sort of behavior is tolerated. Then he goes back to macking hoes on the strip on Clio Road. He’s letting them bullets rip.

Selby Hood was hated as much as King Hood Cykoz were. The only people that really liked Selby Hood was Freaky Live and The Dayton Family. Why else would Selby Hood record a song called "Fuck Selby"? The song was a diss song aimed at those people in Flint who made derogatory remarks about the group Selby Hood and said, “Fuck Selby”.

Brothers Gargamel and Cutt both rap on the track. The samples used in Fuck Selby are Dr. Dre - Dre Day and Camel - Spirit of the Water.

Let Gargamel be who he wants to be. You flow on with that fuck shit. Gargamel lets us know who’s running shit. Gargamel and Cutt have been running shit in Selby Hood since 1985. It took them so long. And now it’s on. They can’t stop spitting that funky shit.

Damn it seems funny how homies act. They used to be down but now Gargamel wants to peel their caps back. They got him tripping from this bullshit by acting all tough when they are real not all that tough. Forget them niggaz. Let Gargamel take you to another level. A true Selby Dog.

Curt (Cutt) says do what you gotta do. He’s got the caps for his gun. And he is still a fucking mack. He makes tracks like whacks on a Cadillac. Cutt produced many of Selby Hood’s songs during the 1980s and 1990s. He was one of their earlier producers. But there ain’t no trouble on his no more. That’s he says, “Fuck it” and goes with the flow.

If you listen to the lyrics on Fuck Selby, you'll hear subliminal shots and disses at King Hood Cykoz. Cutt says, "badda boom badda bing" just like Marc Steele did on the King Hood Cykoz song called Drive Bye.  “I just say “Fuck it” and go with the flow/badda boom badda bing/And it’s on”

Nickel Bag is a Nickel Bag solo on the SHP album. Cutt produced the song and gathered the samples for his solo.

Just because he has the pussy doesn’t mean he’s a pimp. He shoots more dank because he is scoring bank. Nickel Bag smokes more dank than Shabba Ranks. The dough is dry because he is high. The first joint won’t last long. That endo in his system got the best of him.
