Lil Romeo – My Baby single review
Lil Romeo – My Baby was one of the best selling pop rap singles of 2001. My Baby was Lil Romeo’s biggest hit of 2001 and is his biggest hit to date. The music video to this song was constantly played on television channels such as Nickelodeon, BET, VH1, and MTV back in the year of 2001. The single included hits such as Little Star, Where They At, and The Girlies.
My Baby is about how girls be jocking Lil Romeo because they want to be his girlfriend. But he is too young and he says he doesn't need a girlfriend. My Baby also explains his success in music and sports.
Ex-No Limit label mate and songstress Ms. Peaches sung the chorus on Lil Romeo’s biggest hit. The song is heavily backed by the sample of The Jackson 5 - I Want You Back. My Baby was Lil Romeo’s biggest hit of 2001 and is his biggest hit to date. The music video to this song was constantly played on television channels such as Nickelodeon, BET, VH1, and MTV back in the year of 2001.
They call Lil Romeo Lil P. He represents the CP3. Calliope, ya heard me? Straight from New Orleans, Louisiana. Lil Romeo has been engaged and participating in the sport of basketball since the age of 3. That is why he has got game like Kobe Bray and is dunking like his father Master P. There ain't no stopping Lil Romeo because he is in the zone. The clothing he wears is P. Miller wear and No Limit Gear from head to feet. It's like that, Whodi.
Girls be jocking Lil Romeo because they want to be his girlfriend. But he is too young and he says he doesn't need a girlfriend.
Lil Romeo was 11 years old making A's and B's at the time of his success and at the peak in/of his career. He had girls passing notes in class tryin to be his wife. Even at that age, he had grown women wanting to be in his life. By the time he was 18 he was not gonna be nothing nice. These little mami’s couldn’t keep their hands off him. He was a little boy but was living a big man's life. He is part of the the next generation who came to lock it down.
As soon as Lil Romeo finishes high school, he will skip college to join the NBA Basketball League and the elites in hip hop/rap. During the time this song was being recorded and produced, basketball players were able to go join the NBA as soon as they graduated high school. That is what the lyrics, “After high school, I'm goin' straight to the pros (bounce, bounce)” mean.
Little Star is Lil Romeo’s take on and cover of the children’s nursery song and lullaby Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star. Erica Fox covers the chorus with her. Lil Romeo is searching around for puppy love in this song. Similar to how Lil Bow Wow was during that time.
Now not many people know this but Erica Fox was singing under the alias of Allusion. That is her singing the chorus. Interestingly enough Erica Fox was off the No Limit label by this point. So Master P must have made the executive decision to change her name in the songwriters credits to Allusion instead of her legal name.
Notice the way Lil Romeo starts off the song. He starts off the song in a militaristic style which is a militaristic chant.
[Intro: Lil Romeo]
Hut 1, Hut 2
Hut 1, Hut 2
Hut 1, Hut 2
Lil Romeo is looking for a girl who can show him around and hold it down for him. Lil Romeo is looking for puppy love. He can't explain the way he feels. He’s a little young for this. When he sees her, all he seems to feel is happiness and her beauty. Her beauty is unusually extravagant. That is how beautiful she is. Lil Romeo won’t stop until he gets through to her. He shows how persistent he is with these lyrics, “Ain't gone stop 'til I get thru to you”. He will bring her everything in her life she can think of.
What's ya name Ma
I wanna hang Ma
Feel like takin' a ride on the swang Ma
You my queen Ma
Be ya king Ma
I bring you everything in ya life you can think Ma
If we were older I'd give you a ring Ma
Take you to the concert where they sing Ma
For now I'mma let you do ya thing Ma
But if ya man turn out
He's not getting' a thing Ma
Erica Fox sings and covers the chorus with her own twist.
[Chorus: Allusion]
Twinkle twinkle little star
How I wonder where you are
Let's bounce to the spot
Baby take a ride
This song is just for you and I
Twinkle twinkle little star
How I wonder where you are
Let's bounce to the spot
Baby take a ride
This song is just for you and I
The girl Lil Romeo is looking for and getting after is hot from her feet to her braids. Dimples in her cheeks. She love to eat sweets. Lil Romeo purchased himself a baby Hummer so him and her can creep. Lil Romeo has a cell phone incase she wants to speak to him. Every time she speaks, he swears my heart skips. It’s warm inside and hot like July. He get butterflies when he looks in her eyes. This can't be wrong. It feels too right. Turn the music up. Dim the lights. Rome-e-rome is in the zone tonight.
The Girlies is the Caribbean inspired love song about how girls love Lil Romeo. The song is backed by a beautiful harp and a beautiful acoustic guitar over pop rap beats. The song called What Y'all Want was notable for having those hot beats. Now those hot speaker pounding beats were produced by Myke Diesel himself.
Where They At was one of the rougher songs on the album with that Dirty South sound in the production and lyrics. For those who didn’t know, Lil D was the one rapping and chanting during the chorus. A bunch of references to simplistic children’s nursery rhymes are made throughout the song in the form of rap. For example, Nick-nat-patty-wat give a dog a bone and big bad wolf.

Lil Romeo - Where They At single review
Lil Romeo - Where They At is one of the lesser known Lil Romeo singles which hardly gets any mention whenever people bring up his discography. This pop rap single had that Dirty South sound in the production and lyrics. The single had two song which were Where They At and My Baby.

Mustard Plug - Big Daddy Multitude album review
The Scottish album Mustard Plug - Big Daddy Multitude is one of those provocative shock rock albums. Songs such as Ball Park Skank, Too Stoopid, Thigh High Nylons, Mr. Smiley, Skank By Numbers, and Dysfunktional are examples of how provocative the album is. Think shock rock added with ska rock. The album is extremely fast paced and has upbeat positive vibes. Ska music's set to fill the room.
Mustard Plug pays tribute and homage to ska music on Skank By Numbers. The song follows an extremely upbeat fast paced rhythm. Mustard Plug explains to their audience what the concept of skankin' is. Mustard Plug is skankin' by numbers every night and day.
Get off your seat, stomp your boots to the beat, and throw your knees in the air like you don't care! Mustard Plug doesn't want to see you slammin' in the pit. Mustard Plug doesn't want to see our girlfriends kicked. Mustard Plug just wants to see you movin' faster and faster to the beat of the super ska master. Phoneys like to slam to the beat of ska. Mustard Plug not against that, but for them there's more to dance with them.
You needn't act like a jerk. Skankin's meant for fun. Not for getting hurt! Skankin' by numbers every night and day. Skankin' by numbers is the only way. Get off your seat and take a chance. Skankin' by numbers is the only way to dance! Mustard Plug is skankin' by numbers every night and day.
You can shave your head or pierce your nose, NOSE! Dress up in flannels or rudeboy clothes! But where it matters is with your shoes. That's where ska's for your stylin' moves. Skankin' ain't just dancing. It’s our way of life. Away from trouble and away from strife. Afraid of fun? Then you had better beware. Because on the dance floor, we don't have a care!
These lyrics explain what the concept of skankin' is.
You can shave your head or pierce your nose, NOSE!
Dress up in flannels or rudeboy clothes!
But where it matters is with your shoes
That's where ska's for your stylin' moves
Skankin' ain't just dancing it's our way of life
Away from trouble, away from strife
Afraid of fun? Then you had better beware
Because on the dance floor, we don't have a care!
Time to hit the floor. Do it soon. Ska music's set to fill the room. Have never skanked? Well it's time to start! Soon you will be a rudeboy hot! Skankin' by numbers every night and day. Skankin' by numbers is the only way. Get off your seat and take a chance. Skankin' by numbers is the only way to dance!
Mustard Plug pays tribute and homage to ska music with these lyrics.
Time to hit the floor, do it soon, SOON!
Ska music's set to fill the room, ROOM!
Have never skanked? Well it's time to start!
Soon you will be a rudeboy hot!
Finally we'd like to stop and thank our roots
Respect the Specials, Maytals, and Toots!
Wailing Wailers, Laurel Aitken, and Beat
But most of all the Skatalites, they're music complete!
Skankin' by numbers every night and day
Skankin' by numbers is the only way
Get off your seat and take a chance
Skankin' by numbers is the only way to dance!
Mr. Smiley is a goofy horn driven ska rock song explaining how a man named Mr. Smiley snapped into a state of insanity and went on a killing spree. So many questions are asked as to why he committed the heinous act of murder.
I remember how it used to be. Mr. Smiley always taught people right from wrong. Wrong from right and right from wrong. The he suddenly went on a killing spree and killed his whole family. Why is this the way things have to be?
How could it be true? What has happened to Mr. Smiley? I can't believe it. I took my time while thinking it through. Digging through facts. Believing in Mr. Smiley. Oh, Mr. Smiley, come give us a clue. I can't accept it. Tell me it's not true. Because you were once so good to me. The things they say that they knew. Oh, Mr. Smiley, tell me how it could be.
He always had a smile on his face that was so big. I never thought Mr. Smiley would be a criminal case until I saw your his on my TV. Was it just for entertainment? Because now he faces solitary confinement in jail. Why is this the way things have to be? Tell me.
Brain On Ska explains what your brain is like when you are listening to ska music and how one can get easily addicted to ska music.
Here is one example. You’re drinkin' in the pub just the other night. This girl comes up to me and says, "What would ya like?" You said another beer another pitcher or two. Then you drank a few more rounds and the night was through This is your brain on ska. Dancin' on the floor just hoppin' and skankin'.The DJ on the mic won't stop crankin’. Give me any music that'll Then you move your feet to any music with a two-tone beat.
Pork pie hats and Fred Perry shirts. Drinkin' cheap beer and chasin' skirts. But what it's really all about is plain to see. Simply havin' fun and unity! This is your brain on ska!

Thigh High Nylons explained the band’s fetish thigh high nylon stockings.
Apparently poodle skirts and saddle shoes don't mean a thing to Mustard Plug. It's thigh-high nylons that bring them to their knees. Bring back the classic bob and drop the shaggy crop. Their eyes are spinning and they won't stop. Thigh-high nylons are alright. Thigh high nylons are out of sight.
Where'd you get those thigh high nylons tonight? Forget the floppy hippy skirts and lose the sloppy dyes. No it's not the days of old ironically. Thigh high nylons is all you need and nothing more. In your thigh high nylons you'll always catch my eye. Thigh high nylons are stealing the show. Thigh high nylons are the fabric of life.
Pantyhose? No, we need thigh-high nylons. Black tights? No, we need thigh-high nylons. Bobby socks? No, we need thigh-high nylons. Nothing compares to what I’ve got my eyes on. Whatever happened to the mini skirt? That meant so much to me. Your thigh-high nylons. That's what I want to see.

Prick - The Wreckard album review
Prick - The Wreckard is one of the lesser known industrial albums of 2002 filled with dark subject matter backed by glam rock and new wave influences.
Without It explains how a woman controls a man’s body throughs acts of sexual activity.
His shadow rose from the wall. It took a stroll down the hall without it into the streets where it finds no common ground. Cold common ground. Spirits are low. There's sex control. Her body rocks over him like a wagon tail. An erection is drowning in her head. She puts this drowning and his little stars. Turn into scars on heaven's chest.
Actress exposed the horrifying details of how a fully grown adult man fell in love with a preteen female child who was an actress. The man who is a pedophile finds a hard time getting a fair trial.
It's hard to get a trial for a pedophile. At least a fair trial. The girl is a preteen actress but she looks so sweet. She dropped her bobby socks and fell in love which inevitably led into an illicit relationship just for a grown man. It's obviously a case of endangering a minor, sexual conduct with a minor, involuntary subliminal television, and intoxicated insanity. All this sex and this violence came from TV. The man’s excuse was in his words, “She looks too good to leave alone.”
You're pretty but you don't got brains. You got rotten dummies. You tell me it's cool to dress like a tramp in 10th century France. Tie the sexual noose.

Kristin Lems - Oh Mama! album review
Kristin Lems - Oh Mama! was one of the woke folk pop albums of 1979. The album had songs that stood up for women’s rights and songs that called out injustice in politics with nice feminist lyrics. Her album is also filled with hilarious humor.
Days of the Theocracy explains how the patriarchy that is the United States Government will go after women’s rights in order to revoke women’s rights. Days of the Theocracy explained how religion ruled as a system of government. We’re going back to the good ole days when men were really men and women knew their place. Back a couple of centuries. Welcome back the days of the theocracy!
The song explains how those olden days were not so golden. The good old days were not so good. Even if those were the good ole' days. Yes. We’re back to the bad ole days when men were really masters and women were their slaves.
The patriarchy that is the United States Government fights against abortion rights which makes abortion illegal. Birth control is next. Then comes sex if you’re not married. And then finally sex out goes! These are the same people that want to put prayers back in the schools and install "parochiaid". Allow for corporal punishment and then you got it made!
We’re going back to the good ole days when men were really men and women knew their place. Back a couple of centuries. Welcome back the days of the theocracy! The family is so holy. There must be no divorce. And if a wife is not content, she must adjust of course. And if he’s forced to beat her, it’s all for her own good. She must know what her limits are as any woman should.
What could be more fulfilling than a child, wanted or not? A woman’s world is housework, God wanted it that way. A salaried job degrades her since she never works for pay.
They teach us women’s lot is "love honor and obey"
And while their crusty notions seem like jokes to us today
They’re sitting in the Capitol, they’re voting on our lives
If we don’t stop them soon, our freedom will not long survive!
These lyrics explains how women’s rights will not survive long if people, especially women, do not go out and vote. “And while their crusty notions seem like jokes to us today/They’re sitting in the Capitol, they’re voting on our lives/If we don’t stop them soon, our freedom will not survive long!”
Let's go ahead for future centuries and build a world that’s based on true democracy. And build a world that’s based on true equality!
The Fifties Sound is a song which visits the nostalgia of American culture of the 1950s. The song follows a fast pace poppish soulful doo-wop sound. The song explains how those olden days were not so golden. The good old days were not so good. Even if those were the good ole' days.
Think of all the folks who miss the fifties (1950s) sound. They say the fifties (1950s) are comin again! Kristin Lems has got out her bobby socks and ran to the gym! The fifties band has got them out on the floor! Hey wait! She been through this nightmare before! Those olden days were not so golden you know.
Girls who got in trouble had nowhere to go. There were not women’s shelters back then. They couldn't take their lives into their own hands like they can now. They spent their time a swoonin over rock n roll bands. Girls wore thick makeup and boys wore thick grease. Swearing and sex were mortal sins.
These lyrics explained what place in American society (United States) that colored people (African Americans) during the 1950s. “In those days colored people knew their place/Didn't try to barge into the human race” and “They're dancing to what oppressed us 20 years ago”
Why the hell you think we brought the sixties (1960s) in? Everybody looked, thought, and talked the same. And learned all of the details of the dating game. Boys were lettermen or else they were queer. If males were small or shy they lived in constant fear. Being gay was something people keep secret because homosexuality and lesbianism were considered scandalous. And back then women really knew their place.
These lyrics explained what role children had in American society during the 1950s. “Administrators missed the days when students obeyed/Didn't meddle in the world the grownups had made”
These lyrics exposed how the United States Government would brainwash young American men into fighting pointless meaningless wars that occurred throughout the 1950s by drafting them or getting them to volunteer to serve as soldiers. “The Pentagon's nostalgic for the days of yore/When every kid would rush to join their latest war!/The millionaires whose profits have been going down”
So all you kids soakin up the scene, sorry to break in on your American dream. But we lived through it and it ain't no fun. No one's gonna take back what we won!
For All Women In Struggle tells the unnamed and unknown heroines that they will not be forgotten or overshadowed. This song is for all women in struggle.
This song is for all women in struggle. Forced to make their troubled ways alone. In the courts, in the homes, and in the factories. Our heroines unnamed and unknown. They knew they'd never change the world without fighting. Even though they had a lot to lose. If you can stand the pain, it's worth deciding. To defend a woman's right to choose.
These lyrics showcase the importance of women’s rights. It's worth deciding to defend a woman's right to choose.
This song is for all women in struggle
Forced to make their troubled ways alone
In the courts, in the homes, and in the factories
Our heroines unnamed and unknown
They knew they'd never change the world without fighting
Even though they had a lot to lose
If you can stand the pain, it's worth deciding
To defend a woman's right to choose
There were women fighting one by one. There are mothers and their mothers to thank for the sake of ourselves and our daughters to come. It is time for us to join in the ranks.
The song called Cuyahoga River exposed the pollution that poisoned the Cuyahoga River in Ohio back in the 1970s. The series of factories that clustered the shore of the Cuyahoga River dumped their waste into the Cuyahoga River.
Kristin Lems lived upon this river shore since she was very small. She’s watched the seasons turning and has watched the trees grow tall. She has seen the factories coming. They cluster on the shore. These factories dump their waste into the lake and the Cuyahoga River. And every day there's more.
These lyrics exposed how factories clustered the shore of the Cuyahoga River and dumped their waste into the Cuyahoga River.
I've lived upon this river shore since I was very small
I've watched the seasons turning and I've watched the trees grow tall
I've seen the factories coming, they cluster on the shore
They dump their waste into our lake, and every day there's more
Oh lovely waters that have carried my canoe
Cuyahoga River, what have they done to you?
Once people would go fishing in rowboats every dawn
Now all we see is tanker ships, and all the fish are gone
We could see trout swimming full twenty feet below
But now the water's turned to ink no matter where we row
Our river it was clean and clear, we'd swim there everyday
Now it's far too dangerous, a fence keeps us away
The sun upon the water shone sparkling and royal
But now we see a rainbow from reflections in the oil
Late last Friday I drove home, smelled fire in the air
Couldn't tell the origin, the smoke was everywhere
A sheet of flame rose through the clouds, it cut them like a knife
I saw the river up in flame and giving up it's life
Now the ashes settle on a charred and cindered lake
Staying by this shoreline is a terrible mistake
But the Cuyahoga's seen me grow, and now I've seen it die
Figure I'll stay by it, though I cannot tell you why
Long ago people would go fishing in rowboats every dawn. Now all people see is tanker ships and all the fish are gone. People could see trout swimming full 20 feet below. But now the water's turned to ink no matter where anyone rows. People would swim there everyday. Now it's far too dangerous and a fence keeps people away. The sun upon the water shone sparkling and royal. But now we see a rainbow from reflections in the oil.

Shane MacGowan and The Popes - The Church of the Holy Spook album review
The Church of the Holy Spook is one of the eclectic Celtic rock albums from Irish band Shane MacGowan and The Popes. The album has a semi-religious vibe and tone to it.
The Church of the Holy Spook has a religious vibe and tone to it. Quite similar to Catholic music because the song has a theme of the religion of Christianity. Hence the Christian based beliefs.
The lyrics “I think of Jesus on the cross and I scream out for his pain” is a reference to how Jesus was nailed to the cross and died for our sins. A mention of he Holy Ghost is made. “When the sacred blood of the Holy Ghost is boiling in my veins”
Interestingly enough, a nod to the religion of Taoism is given with these lyrics. “The Tao is like a river, so float along with me”
Shane MacGowan’s Father was a sinner, but his Mother was a saintly person. Shane ruined his life by drinking taking pills, bad wives, and cursing. These lyrics show how his parents personalities contrast with each other. “My Daddy was a sinner, but my Mother was a saintly person”
Rock and roll crucified him and left him all alone. He never should have turned his back on the old folks back at home. Shane wants that Church of the Holy Spook. The Church of the Holy Spook is good enough for him. He don't need nothing new. He believes in the Church of the Holy Spook which is based on Christian beliefs. When the sacred blood of the Holy Ghost is boiling in his veins, he thinks of Jesus on the cross and he screams out for his pain.
Rake at the Gates of Hell explained how God delivered the rake at the gates of hell tonight.
God will nurse them at the hour of death. To have a moment more to curse them. Watch the maggots crawl out of them. Hear the angels call above them. Watch them as the cold air sucks them down to hell. God loves them. If any should escape above, beg and cheat until they are trusted, God will drag them down to be damned. Mother's eyes are sparkling diamonds. Still the moon shows no light. This rose is withered. May God deliver the rake at the gates of hell tonight.
Raise their hopes so sad and sunken. Slash them up as they lie there drunken. Push them down into the foul mud. Drag them out before their last breath to take away the mercy of death.

Shane MacGowan and The Popes - The Snake album review
The Snake is one of the eclectic Celtic rock albums from Irish band Shane MacGowan and The Popes. Some of the songs on the album have a semi-religious vibe and tone to it such as The Church of the Holy Spook and Rake at the Gates of Hell.
The song A Mexican Funeral in Paris was a vulgar Celtic rock song about a funeral of a Mexican person that took place in Paris, France.
Don Alvaro Jose Sanchez was the Mexican person that a funeral was held for in Paris, France. Don Alvaro Jose Sanchez was bathed in holy water. He said a lovely good-bye to his lovely daughters, to his sons, and to the killers with no names. A scar tattoo and a blood line scorned. Revenge was the only game!
Father McGreer arrived with the gear. There was a chat and a bit of a smoke. He initiated people into The Church of the Holy Spook. He said "Death will follow anywhere until its found its plan"
Then he laughed and said good-bye. The he said, "Stay lucky while you can!" Suddenly machine gun fire split the silent softness of the day. Five wetback jerks in tuxes got fucking blown away.
The Snake With Eyes of Garnet shared a James Mangan story. This story brings people comfort with laudanum and PoitÃn (Irish moonshine whiskey).
James Mangan flew us back to Dublin, Ireland in 1819 to a public execution being held on Stephen's Green. The young man on the platform held his head up and he did sing.
Take this snake with eyes of garnet. This snake cannot be captured. This snake cannot be tied. This snake cannot be tortured, hung, or crucified. It came down through the ages. It belongs to you and me. So pass it on and pass it on.

One Gud Cide - Contradictions album review
One Gud Cide - Contradictions was one of the best Fort Worth rap albums of 1999. The songs are deep and dark with real messages that have real meaning. The album had that classic remarkable Funky Town production from the legendary producer Ernie G and T-Mix. Southern soul and G-Funk are blended in with the sounds of dark gangsta rap. Funky Town rap from Fort Worth, Texas always seems to fly under the radar which is truly a shame.
Now the original OG 1st press edition of this album with no barcode from has skits and songs that were not included on the 1999 version of the album.
The song and title track Contradictions deals with the concepts of contradiction, regret, decision making, and hypocrisy.
Twisted Black ain’t feeling right. He wonders if he will regret what he did today the very next day which is tomorrow. It seems that everything he does today, tomorrow he will contradict. He expresses that he is tired of living so selfishly and in contradiction. Is this the same feeling that every real playa gets? It seems that his bad side has a mind of his own. He knows this is wrong. Every man reaps what he sows
Not too many people know this but this song uses a sample from the 1992 psychological horror-thriller film Raising Cain. The sample begins with Dr. Waldheim talking.
Dr. Waldheim: Every time there is another trauma, there may be another personality. Pretty soon there are scores of them running around inside your head, squabbling amongst themselves as to which one gets to control the consciousness. Only one personality can control the consciousness at one time.
Lt. Terri: So now they're talking to each other.
Sgt. Cally: This sounds like one messed up guy.
Hell On Earth is a calm and fast paced rap song with smooth chords and beats to fit the sad mood which is displayed throughout the song. Hell On Earth was produced By Ernie G and Davina. Davina was the songstress singing on the chorus. Davina did a lot of singing on underground releases during the 1990s. The duo describe their hardships they’ve experienced and encountered in their lifetimes. They explain how we are living hell on Earth.
This was the song where Twisted Black told his whole life story. Twisted Black moved from the ghetto of Detroit, Michigan to Fort Worth, Texas when he was 12. He was rebelling against the system and wouldn’t listen to adults. 1988 was the year Twisted Black learned how to box while incarcerated in a juvenile detention facility. There he learned how to do over cuts and upper cuts while giving blows and punches when boxing. All this was stated in a section of an article on the Ozone Magazine.
These times be so challenging. Even Evil Seed is struggling strolling through life. Evil Seed is not challenging God’s words. He just doesn't understand why God choose him to be surrounded with this drama. And let his old man put his hands on his mother. He wishes he had the nerves and the physical fitness so he could just get the strength of his legs. Because these days we in the wrong frame of mind. Circumstances he has made grown man cry. They killed his homie Arnell (?) and they was like blood. Even though that's what he supported, it wasn't what Evil Seed was. It even takes a man to even face these burning sands. We all live in hell on Earth.
Down Here was the classic Port Arthur-Fort Worth collabo that was included on the album. This was a country rap tune. Ernie G and T-Mix produced the song. They don’t do it like this anymore! This was the song that had the classic lyrics which were "I got no emotions/Benz coastin’/Your girl rub me down in the hotel with lotion". Pimp C’s verse is legendary.

Shane MacGowan and The Popes - The Crock of Gold album review
The Crock of Gold is one of the golden albums from the Irish band Shane MacGowan and The Popes which is considered to be a Celtic rock classic. This album is just as good as their last album.
Come to the Bower pays homage, tribute, and respect to the great nation of Ireland. The song discusses what makes Ireland great and the cultural significance of Ireland.
Will you come to the bower over the free boundless ocean where the stupendous waves roll in thundering motion? Where the mermaids are seen and the fierce tempest gathers. Erin the green is the dear land of our fathers better known as Ireland. Will you come to the bower?
Ireland is the land of O'Neill and O'Donnell. Ireland is the land of Lord Lucan of old and immortal O'Connell. The country where Brian drove the Danes and Saint Patrick (St. Patrick) the vermin. And whose valleys remain still most beautiful and charming. You can visit Benburb and the storied Blackwater where Owen Roe met Munroe and his Chieftains did slaughter. Where the lambs skip and play on the mossy all over from those bright golden views to enchanting Rostrevor.
You can see the city of Dublin and the fine groves of Blarney. The lakes of Bann, Boyne, and Liffey and the Killarney. You may ride on the tide on the broad majestic Shannon. You may sail round Loch Neagh and see storied Dungannon.
You can visit New Ross, gallant Wexford, and Gorey where the green was last seen by proud Saxon and Tory. Where the soil is sanctified by the blood of each true man. Where they died satisfied that their enemies they would not run from. The air will resound with hosannahs to greet you on the shore will be found gallant Irishmen to greet you.
Ceilidh Cowboy is about a rogue cowboy named Father Emmett who has been banished from his own home because all the women loved him. He behaves in a coquettish manner.
Father Emmett is a ceilidh cowboy. He’s a stranger in this town. You should hear your women squeal with joy. When he get their knickers down, he’ll dance them and romance them until they're nearly out of breath. Then when he taken them out for air, he’ll fuck them half to death.
Father Emmett been sitting on a fridge close to the edge. Running out of coke and dying for a poke. Don't lock up your wives and daughters. Don't lock up your cats and dogs. He came down here with his feet all bare and sleeps in a hollow log.
His name is Father Emmett. He has been banished from my home because all the women loved him. He could play the concertina, guitar, bouzouki and cittern. When he dances the Siege of Ennis, the floor beneath him starts to burn. He’ll take care of your missus all night long the whole night through while you jump on that young one over there that's making eyes at you.

Frenchy And The Punk - Hey Hey Cabaret album review
Frenchy And The Punk - Hey Hey Cabaret is a spunky electro swing album mixed with folk and pop sounds on top of steampunk. The album has fun extravagant cabaret songs such as Hey Hey Cabaret, Steampunk Pixie, and Tie You Up.
Hey Hey Cabaret is about a fun extravagant night at the cabaret. The song explains what goes on at the cabaret. This is a mysterious Bohemian cabaret song.
This lady wore a feather boa. To see was to adore her. His suit and hair were perfect. There was a tattoo on his neck. They filed in through the door. Dressed to the nines all in their formal wear. A mysterious cabaret. Soirée déroux. An exquisite masquerade.
Inhibitions cast out. Buoyant spirits drawn out. Lights and gazes flashing. Anticipation is mounting as the music soared. They all ducked to the dance floor when Frenchy and the Punk played the Bohemian cabaret. Mais bien sûr. Hey hey cabaret!
Petticoats were a-flying. Gents and ladies were chanting. Fists in the air were pumping. Everyone was jumping in the music hall. Bodies dancing wall-to-wall. Welcome one and all to the masquerade ball. A carousel of flirting anxious suitors vying. Cupid's arrow piercing. Liaisons are forming two by two. The romantics left the room. No need for a crystal ball there to know it was the best masquerade ball of them all.
Steampunk Pixie is about a steampunk pixie on a cabaret stage that/who live in Bohemia with Bohemian friends.
She is a steampunk pixie on a cabaret stage. She lives in Bohemia with her Bohemian friends. A place where people are all kind of nuts but that's ok because they have got science and magic in their blood and brains.
This steampunk pixie wears combat boots, crinoline, fishnets, and lace. Her fishnets are torn. She like them that way. She’s got bat wings under her skin. They come out at night when adventure begins.
Fly with her to the moon. We’ll eat blue cheese with the man in the moon. Carry on with no care in the world because time is our friend and we can fly anywhere. It might seem funny but she is wired that way. She wouldn't trade this life for a life of mundane. There is too much mischief and fun coming her way. She wants to be anything but ordinary. An ordinary life is boring.
She has got pixie dust in her raven's cage and brass gadgets put together in mischievous ways. This steampunk pixie is anachronistic bi-linguistic, not to mention wholly mystic in the most spirited way. Fly with her to the moon. We'll ride in her big hot air balloon. We'll look down at the earth from there, spread our wings, and glide high in the air. We'll look down at the earth from above, blow it kisses, and send it lots of love.
She fries her frogs in a brass frying pan. She likes men with leather armbands. She likes women with wings, velvet corsets, and fans. Going both ways whenever she can. Whether by magic or by steam. She’ll get there in style with glitter and gleam. Fly with her to the moon. We'll ride in my big hot air balloon. We'll explore the heavens above, make it back for crumpets and tea. And a little love!
Lunar Frenzy explains how Frenchy wants to conspire with Sir Joe because she has her eyes set on Sir Joe.
Frenchy wants to conspire with Sir Joe. This is because Frenchy has her eyes set on Sir Joe because he is so intoxicating. Sir Joe is so far and free with no boundaries in a lunar frenzy. He has gotten her into a lunar frenzy.
From deep within her heart, he disinters the silver gold. Melting through that open door. A portal to their world where everything is possible. Though such thing is diabolical and visions can be real. Questioning the one who chose to ride the golden ray of the sun no need to set ablaze a path. The gentle kiss to an expectant bride. The union is complete.

Jill Tracy - Quintessentially Unreal album review
Jill Tracy - Quintessentially Unreal is one of the most quintessential jazz albums of 1995. The albums is filled with sophisticated romantic love songs for adults. Or those for those who are sentient enough to understand.
Make It Burn is a song that explains how desires can burn. The song primarily deals with desire and obsession.
What’s the fascination with the flame?. Jill can sense something getting hotter again. They call it an obsession. Orange, yellow, and blue. A little dose of friction another nights work is through. Make it burn. Let the fire ignite your mind. Just a slight indulgence is a crime. I know you got your methods to illuminate the sky. A little dose of friction takes you up so high. Can’t quench your desire? A little passion for fire. A little passion to make it burn.
An incandescent funeral pyre. Pyrotechnically inspired. They call it a fixation. Keep the matchbook closed. Little fix of friction. Combustion overdose.
Some people may interperate that Jill is a pyromaniac who is obsessed with fire with these lyrics. But that is not the case because Jill is not a pyromaniac.
What’s the fascination with the flame?
I can sense something getting hotter again
They call it an obsession
Orange, yellow, and blue
Quintessentially Unreal explains how quintessential and unreal her man’s love is towards her and how behaves towards her. Jill explains that she wants her love to be quintessentially unreal because she knows exactly how she wants it to feel.
Jill kinda likes the way her man moves her. Sleek and slick. And upside down. This blur of colors comes rushing through her, but he can’t utter a sound. Jill kinda likes the way he pushes her into a state of disarray. She knows what it means to be a dreamer. She knows what it means to be alone. Jill knows exactly how she wants it to feel. She wants it to feel quintessentially unreal.
Jill also kinda likes the way he shivers, shakes, and quakes. Jill kinda likes the way he pulls her farther and farther away in the kingdom of the mind’s eye. She does think they will always stay this way. She can chart the course of flights of fancy as she immersed in ideality. Who says you can’t pretend? That is quintessentially unreal.

Allison Moorer - The Duel album review
Allison Moorer - The Duel is a crossover album where country and rock meet pop music. The songs have a balance of sadness and happiness. The album is average at best.
Melancholy Polly showed how Polly’s life is filled with sadness even though she is a singer that everyone cherishes.
Melancholy Polly spills her guts on stage. She can't get her jollies any other way. Safe inside the music and the melody. Polly gets to lose it and no one can see. She is not a starlet (star) with a red guitar. Just an easy target for a broken heart. Peddling her story up there all alone. This is another allegory carved in stone.
These lyrics explain how Polly gets loose with the melody in her music. “Safe inside the music and the melody/Polly gets to lose it and no one can see”
She would ransom her fate if she had some escape. But her words are a curse. Every rhyme every line and verse. Polly takes a bow waves, and says her goodnight to the drunken crowd in front of the footlights. When the house is clapping she knows what it means. Her life only happens for a song to sing. Music and singing are the only things that keep her going in life.
Louise Is in the Blue Moon is about how the coolsville country sheriff Danny quit his job as a sheriff for marriage.
The coolsville country sheriff Danny got tired of that Southern charm and traded in his lonesome badge for a lady on his arm. Old Danny leads the well-dressed in a god box by the sea aimed only with an ancient tongue and a gut string on his knee. Danny marries a woman named Louise. Louise is in the blue moon. Putting up her dukes, walking on rocky socks, and punching numbers on a juke. That is what she is known for.
The handsome riverboat gambler is holed up in some motel dealing with new players who know the game real well. And Skinny's off his rocker. He left it on the road. And even though he'll miss it, he had to let it go.
These lyrics explained why the sheriff quit his job.
The coolsville country sheriff
Got tired of southern charm
And traded in his lonesome badge
For a lady on his arm
