Anja Kotar - Songs From Isolation EP EP review
Anja Kotar - Songs From Isolation EP is an EP of tracks released throughout the past year that journals life during a global pandemic called the COVID pandemic. Serving as a musical diary, the acoustic-led pop songs offer an intimate insight into one of the most tumultuous years of our lives which was 2021. Anja Kotar - Songs From Isolation EP is a Slovenian pop EP filled with American pop influences. The production is lively and is very much modernized.
This song “Tuscany” was written approximately three months into the 2020 coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19) and describes the strange state of a world stuck in limbo. As the world went into quarantine lockdown and countries closed their borders, seemingly overnight, people tried to distance themselves from the reality of the situation. “Tuscany” illustrates how the news became not just depressing but soul-draining, how even places like Times Square were empty, and how through it all we tried to hang on to any semblance of normalcy. The world just fell apart so we each retreated to our own slice of heaven.
Anja woke up this morning with the mistake of turning on the TV only to hear and watch. Nothing but bad news. Empty avenues rolling on the screen.
Then she walked to the kitchen to make herself a cup of coffee. She waves at the old man getting a sun tan on his balcony. They’ve both have been stuck in their apartments for 2 months which is too long. They don’t even get along but the world just fell apart straight out of the blue.
So in her mind she whispers “ciao” and she takes herself toTuscany, Italy. Riding on a Vespa in a sunflower field. Warm wind blowing and birds are singing in cypress trees. Eating carbonara and reading Machiavelli while the world ends. That’s where Anja will be. What a fantasy.
Anja goes back to her room and picks up the laptop to join a work call. Karen doesn’t knows that she’s wearing. Her sweatshirt is inside out. After the work call is over, she goes to water all her plants. She might just might take up painting and read every book. Then she’ll learn to cook from videos online.
Anja talks about keeping her life simple on her song appropriately titled Simple. She wants to keep things simple because there is so much we can do at home. The song deals with being trapped at home with family due to a global pandemic.
She used to get her hair done and have her nails long. She was used to wearing makeup every day. Anja used to rush to work and have no time for fun She would spend half her life on full highways. Then the world closed down. Anja was stuck inside this town at home with the family Our new reality. Four walls and a door. Nothing like ever before. You, me, and no distractions.
Let’s just keep it simple. There’s so much we can do at home such as build a fort in the living room, have a pillow fight, eat grilled cheese in our bed at noon and look at stars at night. Let’s keep it simple. Disconnect the tеlephone. Rip up all the calеndars. Cancel every plan. Catch up on The Bachelor. We’ll say life began the day we kept it simple. Let all of the minutes just fly by.
Anja always used to worry because she was always in a hurry. She had focused on the wrong things. She would fall asleep while asking herself why.
Let’s just keep it simple. There’s so much we can do at home. Such as build a fort in the living room, have a pillow fight, eat grilled cheese in our bed at noon and look at stars at night.
Anja explained how her life was like an apocalyptic movie on her 2021 song called Movie which showcased how the ongoing COVID pandemic.
Anja guesses this was kinda fun when it all started going down. Walking around in PJs and nappping on the couch. Watching TV all day and spending time inside the house. However inactivity is not all it’s cracked up to be. Specialists and professionals said the COVID pandemic was all gonna be over by the end of May 2021. But here she is with a face mask on every day. The way this year is turning out like a Michael Bay cliché.
They used to see all these cheesy action flicks on Netflix
Now you and me are living in it. Life right is a movie now. Anja wishes the soundtrack was groovy but that is not the case. The soundtrack is a dysfunctional dystopia. Anja is super frustrated and moody about this. She just needs a happy еver after story to end all the chaotic state of the world.
Anja got theatrical with these lyrics.
Can I speak to thе director of life?
Think he made a mistake with his design
This was supposed to be a comedy (haha)
Not an apocalyptic tragedy (aww)
Everybody on the set is confused (wait, what?)
This used to be fun now we’re not amused (nope)
Cast and the crew demand to be removed cuz (dude, seriously)
We used to see
All this on Netflix
Cheesy action flicks
Now you and me
Are living in it
Life right now is a movie
Oh yeah
Wish the soundtrack was groovy
Too bad
I’m frustrated, I’m moody
Oh yeah
Just need a happy ever after
Alone Together discussed how Anja spent her time alone with her man during lockdown during the COVID pandemic. Being alone together is how they got through the pandemic.
She really bought a Sims game. It was on sale for $4.99. Man, what a weird sign of the times. She needs to keep busy. That’s why she is trying to eat the hours away. Who knew that she liked Milky Ways? She is feeling so good and is in control. Then she think of the places she could be. So she gives up and watches TV. Anja is going stir crazy pacing around her room. The world is upside down and she is turning inside out.
Yesterday feels a year ago. She is sitting by thе window catching the sun and tracing clouds. She can’t believе she is missing crowds. Time is moving so slow. However her are eyes are getting numb from staring at her phone for a long time. She’ll never take for granted them dancing in the rain or a stocked up supermarket. A date night at the movies. Meetups in coffee shops. Cities alive with people.
These lyrics show how Anja copes with being on locked down in her apartment and sharing her loneliness with her man. Being alone together is how she (they) got through the pandemic.
The world is upside down and
I’m turning inside out
Tell me that it gets better
Being alone
Alone together
Alone together yeah alone together yeah
I think I’m going crazy
Pacing around my room
Tell me that it gets better
Being alone
Alone together
The world is upside down and
I’m turning inside out
But I know it will get better
Being alone
Alone together
Midnight in Paris was a vintage French Chanson pop inspired track about the celebration of post-COVID life and times, portrayed as dancing through the night streets of Paris. The song is about Anja having a picnic with her best friends at midnight in Paris.
Now life’s back in color and everything’s feeling brand new. The French always say what’s on their mind. Leaving lipstick stains on tall glasses of wine. Practically invented being nonchalant for fun. They tear apart Voltaire just like afternoon croissants. Strolling over bridges that were built in Renaissance. Isn’t that what every romance-loving 20-something woman wants?
She always heard there’s magic in the air as you’re watching peoplе dance by Seine at midnight in Paris. Oh, what a feeling. She stеps on cobblestones hinking ‘this must be la vie en rose’. Maybe Anja will get a place that’s right across the Notre Dame. The roof will be leaking but she’ll be as happy as they come.

Ginuwine - 100% Ginuwine album review
Ginuwine - 100% Ginuwine was one of the greatest R&B/Soul albums from a male solo artist for 1999 due to being such a huge commercial success. The album had commercially successful hits such as So Anxious, What’s So Different, Same Ol' G, and None Of Ur Friends Business. His entire album was laced with Timbaland’s sultry production which consisted of his ultra thick drum patterns, loud claps, and prosperous snaps. Not to mention Ginuwine’s singing. Each song is worth listening to on this album. The album has slow jams for the bedroom at nighttime such as So Anxious and Wait a Minute.
So Anxious was the midnight mid tempo slow jam that had both men and women doing the bump and grind (bump n grind/grinding) back in the spring of 1999. Ginuwine is who is “so anxious” for his lover to return his calls so they can meet up and have sexual intercourse until the early morning. Ginuwine describes and explains how he is a sexaholic. That is the plot behind So Anxious. Ginuwine wrote this song for the grown and sexy people out there.
The music video for this song was played in constant rotation on BET during their Midnight Love hour. Heck the music video was played even during the day sometimes.
Ginuwine is home alone at 9 o'clock (9 PM). He is so anxious for his lover to return home. He has been paging her nonstop wishing that she would come over to his place. That is why he has been paging her nonstop from his pager. They can just keep talking about the last time she was here. What they did was only bubble baths and back rubs. They also had sexual intercourse which resulted in them having no sleep until morning came.
Ginuwine is so anxious. So he wants her to meet him at 11:30 PM. He loves the way she is talking dirty. Ginuwine wants her to quit stalling around because she knows and is well aware of the fact he is a sexaholic.
It's 10:10 PM. Ginuwine wonders where his lover has been and if she did get his message. Her expression is telling Ginuwine that she’s been thinking the same thang he’s been thinking. She says she is working. Ginuwine tells her to hit him up just as soon as her shift is over. He’ll be waiting because he can't sleep because he has been reminiscing about her and what they do.
As soon as she hits the door, Ginuewine will pull her down on the floor before they get to touch the bed. And before they get to hit the lights and before they start the candle lights. Ginuwine just wants to bump and grind. This is something that's been on his mind.
The song What’s So Different? is about Ginuwine avoiding getting caught up in drama of someone else’s relationship. This woman who already has a man loves Ginuwine. But Ginuwine does not want to get involved with her. She was feeding him all this rap about how it's different. But it's not mentioned what she is doing is wicked. Now Ginuwine is having second thoughts about him and her because this is not he wants or it should be. He does not want to get caught up in drama. If she cheated on him, she’ll do it to Ginuwine.
Timbaland’s sultry signature production and beat programming is what made the song What’s So Different? catchy, enjoyable, and captivating to listen to. Timbaland’s spectacular beat programming and production is what made the song a hit and commercial success. Those drum sticks, infectious hand claps, thick toms, and snares are what helped made this song catchy, enjoyable, and successful. You can tell Timbaland put his foot in programming the beats. He was in his prime in the late 1990s. Timbaland used his signature production of thick drum patterns, infectious loud claps, thick toms, prosperous snaps, and snares.
This woman says she loves Ginuwine. But at one time she loved another man. So what's so different? Ginuwine asks her, “Tell me if you were in my shoes. What would you do or think of me? Would you trust me?”
This woman says she wants Ginuwine’s trust and had told Ginuwine she was leaving her current lover which is her man. But Ginuwine does not want to get involved with her because he does not want to get caught up in drama which is related to her current relationship with her man. It's not mentioned what she is doing is wicked. Now Ginuwine is having second thoughts about him and her because this is not he wants or it should be. If she cheated on him, she’ll do it to Ginuwine. But what the hell is different?
Like the saying goes, you reap what you sow. And what goes around comes back around to you five times harder. Ginuwine is pretty sure that he's thinking. But she is here in Ginuwine’s rimmed-up drop top with him. All hugged up and all over him. Kissin' all of him. Is that to get Ginuwine where she wants him to be? Ginuwine doesn't want this to happen to him. So he drops her off for her to go back to her current lover.
Ginuwine tells his lady why they don’t have to fight. He explains how they can talk things over and resolve their problems in their relationship. That is the plot of Wait a Minute.
Ginuwine and his lady have been fighting lately due to problems that have risen in their relationship. Ginuwine tells his lady they don’t have to fight. He tells her, “Wait a minute. Don’t you hear me, baby? It's gonna be alright. We don't have to fight.”
Ginuwine’s pager rings. He picks it up and his lady is telling me that her girl peeped him rollin down the ave in his Range Rover pumpin out his new hits. It's his lady saying that she saw him cheating. Now he is all confused. Why is she hating on him? Ginuwine doesn't really know what this is all about but he is going to find out.
Then his mind wanders. He starts thinking back at the party when she was all up in his face and grabbing on his arm telling him things like how she was the bomb. Now for him it's clearer instead she doesn't see the truth. But she wants Ginuwine near her. Ginuwine tells his lady the truth by saying, “Now don't believe a thing your girl says. She wants to have what you have all. It is jealousy. Baby, put your trust in me. She really wants to ride my pony, but you're the one I’m giving it. You're the one I’m living with. Giving all my stuff and shit. So why you wanna doubt our love? Don't let her break our world.”
He tells his lady to check her girl. He tells her, “Before you question me you need to check your girl. She done dished out more than she can take and her ass can't handle it. But you're my woman and we're one. And I'm not having it. I'm sure you believe in me and I’m sure you can see the truth in me.”

Ginuwine - The Senior album review
Ginuwine - The Senior was Ginuwine’s comeback album for 2003 after a two year long hiatus from the music scene. This was the album that spawned the minor hit In Those Jeans. One thing that is noticeable about this album is the lack of Timbaland’s production which could have attributed to low album sales for this album. Which is a shame because the album had good bops such as In Those Jeans and Stingy. Songs such as Our First Born had marked his growth and maturity.
Ginuwine is singing his love for a girl who he loves more with everyday and won’t ever stop and would do anything for in his song Love You More.
There's really nothing left to say. There's really nothing more Ginuwine can say since she came inside his life she has given hi the best of herself everyday and night. He felt his happiness in her. That makes him wanna ride to the end of any valley. She brings him comfort to his soul. That gives him such a high. That makes him want to fly to the top of every rainbow. No he will never let her go.
Ginuwine loves her more everyday. More and more everyday She shows him love in every way. There's nothing left for him to say. She is my wife and best friend. Something they both can treasure. In the mean time Ginuwine is gonna put in work. That's how it's supposed to be.
Our First Born had marked his growth and maturity since he had become a father at the time this song was written. The song explained the joys of parenthood especially for a first time. Words can't explain it alone.
His daughter made him the proudest daddy. Ginuwine can't explain the feelings in him. He was proud when they heard that they were having a little baby girl. He couldn't wipe off his smile. Heaven went and told the world that his wife was having his child. Ginuwine just can't explain how he feels about their firstborn child.
Ginuwine will always love and care for his firstborn child that is his daughter. He will never neglect his daughter. He will always stand right there since he is the father. The most precious thing in the world to Ginuwine is his daughter.
In Those Jeans was Ginuwine’s biggest hit for the year of 2003. However the song was actually a minor hit due to the lack of Timbaland’s production which is really sad. Timbaland’s presence was missed by Ginuwine fans. Nevertheless the song was a hit in the clubs across the world.
The girl Ginuwine has his eye on is looking good and plenty tight. He wants to know if there is any more room for him in those jeans she is wearing. He likes it really thick. There is something looking tasty and really scrumptious in those jeans. Is there any more room for him in those jeans?
He has seen her from a far when he got into his ride. And he couldn't stop himself from looking hard. She wore these jeans. That girl doesn't know what those jeans do to him. Ginuwine doesn't know the words to say to her. All that he knows is that he is loving what he sees and is feeling her. Doesn’t matter if her jeans are Levis, Prada, Baby Phat, Calvin, Iceberg, or Sergio. He loves the way she is wearing them.

Yuki Saitou - Axia album review
Yuki Saitou - Axia is a beautiful pop album from Japanese songstress Yuki Saitou. Pop from Japan during the 1980s were beautiful and in its prime. There were several beautiful blazing cold singles off her 1985 album that are still covered by artists today. Many of her songs are love songs.
白い炎 (Shiroi Honō) (White Blaze) was one of those beautiful blazing cold singles off her 1985 album with a mixture of synth-pop and new wave. The song explains the nature of a taciturn girl.
Embrace the love of a lost child wandering around the city of ink paintings. At that moment, the city lost its color.
She is waiting for her bus. She couldn't press the last 5 on the telephone for whatever the reason may have been. Her bus with two people goes to her room on the other side.
She is a sad girl. Her tears turn into snow on her cheeks. She voiced her love for the first time At that moment, a gale tore off the dream. Bleeding tears are white flames. A burning chest is a hot pain. She was always a taciturn girl.
卒業 (Sotsugyou) (Graduation) was one of those beautiful blazing cold singles off her 1985 album with a mixture of folk and pop music. The song continues to be popular over 30 years after its debut, having been covered by multiple artists. 卒業 (Sotsugyou) (Graduation) is still covered by artists today.
The song is about Yuki befriend an underclassmen at her high school graduation. She held out her little finger and says that she’ll call him even if they’re apart. Yuki promises to him that they’ll still be friends even after graduating high school. Yuki wants to connect the stopped time with a sailor's thin scarf but he can't bind his future to her changing in Tokyo, Japan. But she wants to save her tears for the saddest moments. For the first time Yuki walked silently on the long way to the train station. The two of them were standing on the opposite platform. But she knows that she won't be able to see him because she swept away by the passing seasons.
An underclassmen begged Yuki for the button on her school uniform's chest to a male underclassmen (kouhai) grade below them. That is the Japanese tradition in high school graduations. He’s running away while scratching his head, aren't you? He carves his initials on his desk in an empty classroom in the afternoon. Yuki muttered that she should stop engraving her memories that are only in her heart.
She held out her little finger and says that she’ll call him even if they’re apart. She shouldn't make promises she can't keep. Yuki wants to connect the stopped time with a sailor's thin scarf but he can't bind his future to her changing in Tokyo, Japan. But things change in Tokyo because your future is unbound.
If Yuki doesn't cry at the graduation ceremony, she’ll be called a cold person. But she wants to save her tears for the saddest moments. The seating order changed and Yuki even got jealous of the girl next to him the underclassmen.
Her hair was pulled for mischief and she got angry behind the scenes. For the first time Yuki walked silently on the long way to the train station. The two of them standing on the opposite platform. The train of time has now torn apart. They’ll still be friends even after graduating. But she knows that she won't be able to see him because she swept away by the passing seasons.
The lyrics “With a thin sailor scarf” have a symbolic meaning and is a cultural reference. Female students would give the scarf from their serafuku to a male underclassmen (kouhai) a grade below them. Serafuku is a sailor uniform which is sometimes and traditionally worn by female students in middle school and high school. The scarf from her serafuku served a parting gift as a way to remember her.

Baby Bash - Tha Smokin’ Nephew album review
Baby Bash - Tha Smokin’ Nephew was the smoking hot album of 2003 that was full of Latin rap, reggaeton, and pop music for everyone to enjoy. The album had the memorable hits such as Suga Suga, Early In The Morning, Shorty Doowop, Oh Wow, Feeling Me, Changed My Life, and Menage A Trois. The whole album is a weed album which has songs that revolve around the subject of marijuana. Of course you have the occasional romantic love songs.
Suga Suga was a song by Baby Bash that was getting radioplay on airwaves across the United States, Canada, Mexico, and Brazil back in 2003. Especially in Austin since KAZI 88.7 and 140.3 FM! Suga Suga got heavy radioplay here in Austin all over the radio stations. It was such a great song that everyone who was in their rides was playing Suga Suga by Baby Bash at the stoplights here in Austin, Texas. Suga Suga is what skyrocketed Frankie J to fame in his musical career. Since he sung the hook and bridge. It was such a great song. The whole song is talking about weed.
As it is in this particular song, this woman could either be an actual female or she could be a metaphor for the drugs he is taking (probably coke or weed). Either way they both get him feeling great. So great that to the extent he is so high and baked. She's sweet like honey buns because she has a nice ass. She doesn’t care about his money and just ditch him like a hoe would. This woman will be there whether Baby Bash is rich & famous or not. You can't say anything to a player.
Baby Bash became the modern day Jimmy Hendrix on the song Weed Hand. The marijuana influenced song is intoxicating and deep.
Sometimes the game has got Baby Bash stressin. So he rolls himself a sweet and smashes off in the ride. He puts his weed hand in the sky. He respects marijuana for the love of life.
The smoke is killing off his lungs and appendix. It's deep. Down in Texas. Dope House is so relentless. The fluff is endless. Baby Bash is smoking with his lawyer and his dentist. He is feeling stupendous. Smoking on greener reef. He done rolled a Lax wit a high speed chasers.
Baby Bash is cock mouthed and thirsty. He’s gotta keep his spirit lifted though. Marijuana is his spiritual and lyrical crutch. It's hydrometrical. He is coming off fully loaded off that derby. His vacuum lungs are like those Kirby vacuums. Don’t disturb him when he is smoking marijuana. His weed hand is something he doesn't disrespect.
On Tha Curb explained how Baby Bash was selling drugs and smoking weed.
Baby Bash is standing on the curb puffin on the herb. He’s trying to stay high. He is trying to get what a mother fucker deserves. He is trying to get richer because it all about them dollars. True to the trilla. Well that's the way he put it down.
Purple essence was all around. Him and his folks blaze the pounds. There ain't no brown. It’s all green. Baby Bash came up with a whole new scheme and a whole new dream. He just got himself a triple beam from a dope fiend. The dope fiend was a homie that used to be a baller until he started using all his dough. Baby Bash is all about that cash and that Mary Jane. You know the game. His dreams are magical. His top notch game is valuable. The way he stacks his product (drugs) is mathematical.
Baby Bash just bumped himself a badder hoe. A Las, Vegas Nevada hoe with some big old tits and ass. She loves all by that grass he grows. Her schedule ain't flexible since they all live in Mexico. She’s got a semi truck with hella blow. And he scats across the US-Mexico border. That's why the duck is coming buckets. Posted on the gizzard. Blowing sweets like they gots trumpets.
Sexy Eyes shared and explained how a classy and stunning woman’s sexy eyes got Baby Bash hypnotized. Her sexy eyes are so spiritual.
Sexy Eyes, That woman’s sexy eyes are so lovely. Her sexy eyes got him hypnotized. It makes Baby Bash want to love her. She’s lookin’ way cool tonight. Baby Bash tells her, “Girl, you’re lookin’ way cool, tonight.”
You know he’s got the cognac and the phat bomb sack. All he wants to do is vibe and put her on the suga rise. She is sexy each and every day thats to her sexy eyes and sexy waist. Smiling with her pearly whites when he puts this thang up on her. That sexy mama wanna marry him.
The steelo is so kamikaze. Shrinin’ like Liberace and smellin' like Burberry. It’s goin’ down like gravity. She still wanna love him like a playboy bunny. It’s like a stairway to paradise when Baby Bash looks into her eyes. Her sexy eyes are so spiritual. You know it’s nothing to a trilla though. And you know that’s on the cool.
Faithfully she waits for him like the real ones really do. So gracefully she’s made for him. And one look is all it took with those incredible thighs and incredible eyes.Time don’t wait for love and life don’t wait for a break in the weather. It’s time for them to hook up. Get this thing together.

Baby Bash - Cyclone album review
Baby Bash came out with another whirling hit of an album called Cyclone back in 2007. The album uses a balance of pop, rap, and Latin music. The only downside to the album is the overabundance of guest artists and features. He had too many guest artists and features on this album. This was unusual given that Baby Bash did not usually feature guest artists on all of the songs to his albums. He would only have guest artists be featured on 25%-30% of his albums.
Spreewells Spinnin’ is about the fancy rims on Baby Bash’s car that keeps on spinning when stopped at a traffic light at an intersection. This was your typical Houston rap song that was released during the explosion of Houston rappers.
His Spreewells are spinnin' on chrome. The spreewells keep spinnin'. And his trunks on pop. Truck glowed to the white with 2.2 pearly boulders. Moon roof to the back. So you know Baby Bash stays ridin' clean and droppin' screens. That's Baby Bash on that ass stackin' presidents. Some call it feddi, scrilla, cash, money, or Benjamins. He’s in the zone, off that chrome in your residents. He ain't fakin' like half the rappers in the nation.
Baby Bash likes the way a stripper moves her body around and around. That is what the song Cyclone is about. This Lil Jon-produced hit was one of those club songs that had dance floors pumping and grooving back in 2007. This was Baby Bash’s most successful single of 2007.
She moves her body like a cyclone. And she makes Baby Bash wanna do it all night long. She is going hard when they turn the spotlights on because she moves her body like a cyclone.
Now look at that dumper on the back of that bumper. She ain't even playing when she shaking that rumpa. She gets lower than a muffler. Either she with her girlfriends or showstoppin' with her hustler. The way she move her body, She might see the Maserati. She wanna put it on Baby Bash by tryin' to show him her tsunami. And she has got an entourage and her own paparazzi. She makes it hard to copy. Always tight and never sloppy.
Now there she go again ridin' through the stormy weather. You better button up if you wanna go get her. Cause it is what it is. Everybody wants to love her. But when she pops it, boy, you better run for cover.
It's a rap when she breakin' boys off the typhoon when she’s gotta get that fetti like a boss tycoon. Now hold it steady because she make a monsoon. Bet she got them heads turnin’. You gon' hear it clack-clack when them Stiletto heels get to burnin’. Shawty got looks, hips, and shawty got class. And shawty got ass. When she hit the stage, she drop it down low. She must be the one.

Lizz Wright - Dreaming Wide Awake album review
Lizz Wright - Dreaming Wide Awake was a jazz-influenced world music album that was subtle and calming. The album features some heartfelt vocal tracks from Lizz herself. This album showcased and shed coverage of her more playful, jazz-influenced sound. However the subject material is a bit cliché and is nothing new. She sings about topics that are not new. Still she manages to make her vocals jazzy and attractive to listen to.
The song Narrow Daylight was about Lizz trying to escape her life as a celebrity and find some peace away from the public eye. Narrow Daylight explained the kindness we count upon is hidden in everyone.
Narrow daylight entered her room. Shining hours were brief. Winter is over. Summer is near. Lizz walks through halls of reputation among the infamous as the camera clings to the common thread beyond all vanity into a gaze to shoot you through. She steps through a sunlit grove. Although deep down she wished it would rain. Washing away all the sadness and tears that will never fall so heavily again.
She stood there in the soft spring air and felt the wind sweeping over her face. She ran up the rocks to the old wooden cross. It's a place where she can find some peace. The kindness we count upon is hidden in everyone. We are always stronger than we believe.
The lyrics showcase and exemplify the glory of being a celebration and the fame.
I walk through halls of reputation
Among the infamous, too
As the camera clings to the common thread
Beyond all vanity
Into a gaze to shoot you through
It's the kindness we count upon
Chasing Strange explained how Lizz would stay with someone as they grew and changed as a person. The song dealt with cane and growth.
It's just three digits but she is far from home. She has fallen and nobody cares. She twists three keys and she is all alone. Yet there’s a party upstairs. It's not the first time she been lied to. She knew nothing about him.
Lizz is chasing strange. And she will rearrange to be a part with every change that he makes. Breaking shadows every time that she run under a love she can't share. The liquid daughters and the liquid son disappear in thin air.

Lizz Wright - Salt album review
Lizz Wright - Salt was a subtle calming world music-influenced jazz music album that was subtle and calming that features some heartfelt vocal tracks from Lizz herself. This album showcased and shed coverage of her jazz-influenced sound and style. She manages to make her vocals jazzy and attractive to listen to.
Open Your Eyes, You Can Fly tells people to never be afraid to love and to never be afraid to just cast away the chains of doubt. The song also encourages people to be free.
Never be afraid to love and to never be afraid to just cast away the chains of doubt. Never be afraid to love and to never be afraid to just be. Don't cloud your eyes with others lies. Don’t go hanging your dreams on their lies. See only what you want to see. Duplicate this simple truth. Have courage to be free. You got to cast away the chains of doubt. Just duplicate this simple truth.
Soon As I Get Home deals with Lizz having uncertainty about her feelings because she let herself get so uptight.
There's a feeling here inside that Lizz cannot hide. And she knows she’s tried but it's her turning herself around. She needs both feet on the ground. Maybe she is just going crazy. She let herself get uptight. But she is gonna be all right soon as she gets home.
In a different place and in a different time. Different people all around her. She would like to know their different world and how different they would find her to be. And just what's a Wiz? Is he big and will he scare her? If she asks to leave, will the Wiz even hear her? And how will she know then if she ever gets home again?
