House of the Black Gardenia - The New Lowdown album review
The New Lowdown by House of the Black Gardenia uses a steady brew of authentic original compositions in the style of vintage traditional jazz and electro swing. You can hear the Charleston swing dance sound in the electro swing. This album is a classy flavoured jazz album from 2020.
Showgirl was about a beautiful shy girl who was a dancer and performer at an entertainment show wearing revealing clothing. She was a hit as a showgirl and later became a pin-up model with a devoted legion of fans but she had eyes for just one man. So she gave herself to God, quit working as a showgirl, and she became a nun.
She was a shy girl but she was beautiful. The man who was her manager and promoter wanted to show her off. So he bought her dresses and high-heeled shoes because he loved to see her take them off. He told her as he was kissing her shoulder, “You’ve got talent. You shouldn’t waste it all on me. You could be up on a stage with your name in lights. You are something the world should see. Go girl, become a showgirl.”
She was a hit as a showgirl and later became a pin-up model with a devoted legion of fans which included poor boys, princes, playboys, scammers, cons, and priests. But she had eyes for just one man
Every night when he knew that he was taking her home, he was the envy of all his friends. But deep down inside she knew that it wasn’t right. She vowed that she would make amends. He found out too late when he found that note. She hated what she had become.
So she gave herself to God and quit working as a showgirl. She became a nun. The sisters took her in. She repented her sins. No more would she be part of the world of men. But the next little girl had wandered into his world. He would start all over again.
Russian Caravan is one of those swinging tea drinking songs filled with jazz and electro swing. The song revolves around the concept of drinking tea.
All the most wonderful pleasures in life come from drinking herbal tea. This might seem strange and even frightening at first. So don’t be afraid to try something new when you want to quench your thirst. You can’t get enough of Formosa Oolong. Orange Pekoe and China Keemun is just anyone’s cup. You’ll also love Lapsang Souchong. Fate is written in the tea leaves.

Balduin - Vintage Vibes album review
Balduin - Vintage Vibes is one of the lesser known electro swing albums which people hardly know about. Balduin invites listeners to their limitless world of Vintage Vibes which is electronic swing jazz with a touch of retro appeal. This is an album where electronic and swing jazz coexist marvelously.
Balduin & Offbeat - I Need Sleep is a Brit Hop electro swing where British hip hop/rap and electro swing meet each other. Offbeat explained why he was feeling exhausted and needed sleep in the song. The worst part is the night before was the same.
Offbeat wakes up feeling exhausted because he went to bed at 3 in the morning. He stayed awake staring at his phone. He should have put his phone down but he couldn’t leave it alone. He wasn’t even looking at anything decent. Just scrolling aimlessly for no reason. The worst part is the night before was the same.
The worst part is the night before was the same. They say that you need 8 hours a night. Offbeat is lucky if he even gets 5 hours of sleep. Wait, can you die from being sleep deprived? It’s at that moment that he decides tonight’s the night he breaks the habit of a lifetime. He goes to bed by 9.
He stumbles through the day feeling like a zombie who’s body’s been powered purely by coffee. He drinks about 20 cups of coffee without flinching. You know it’s bad when you don’t even mind instant. By some miracle he makes it to the evening. The reason he is not getting enough sleep is because he keeps getting distracted by technology such as his phone and TV.
Sue explains why she has a hangover on the song aptly titled Hangover.
Sue has to get up each morning to do the same chores all again. She’s got her laundry folded. She did her sit ups all again. Next she decides to give her friends a call. She puts her party dress on. Sue drink a bottle of rum as she needs her body to unwind. This is what results in her hangover.
The next day, she goes home way past dawn and the sunlight hurts her eyes. So she put her glasses on. Sunglasses are what’s needed to disguise the hangover. Then she got hit by a bus. Or at least that’s how she feels. Headache and shame are creeping over her now. Sue can’t get up this morning. She fell asleep in clothes again.
Masha Ray looks for something entertaining on the wild and wacky electro swing song called Wabababa. The song is Powered by nonsense desire and electro swing of course. The song tells people to always live up to the limit.
Lately Masha Ray has been pretty lazy. You might call it crazy. But she calls it "Wabababa". She has been feeling like a baby lately. She is lookin for someone to entertain her with something like "Wabababa". That is what these lyrics mean: Someone entertain me With something like "Wabababa"
If that’s our freedom better drink up what is given because who knows if it’s for a decade or a minute
We’re on the edge. So always live up to the limit because who knows if this dance/night is gonna be repeated. Powered by nonsense desire. By boredom and wires. Tired of infinite lying. Of sleeping and buying.

Carlo Colombo - DESIGN album review
DESIGN by Italian crooner Carlo Colombo is a beautiful big band style swing pop album with electronic music backing for production. The drumming is on point as the beats are thick and loud. His singing, style, and charisma is similar to Frank Sinatra.
CAMBIO GENERAZIONALE (GENERATIONAL CHANGE) explained Carlo’s occupation as an employee at an electronic plant (electro plant). He works full time at his father’s electronic plant as a financer who works in an office. Carlo explained how he wanted to originally have the occupation of a hairdresser as he originally wanted to be a hairdresser. But he can’t since he works full time at his father’s electronic plant.

Carlo met a mature woman who lived on herbal teas, She wanted to purify herself even if she were an escargot. To light up her life he filled himself with candles, zodiac manuals, and chill-out compilations. The snail had all the meaning of life. As soon as he gets on, she puts on her little plush pajamas and she puts the flaps on me to crawl like her. She promised Carlo caffeine. Then she gave Carlo an herbal tea.

Carlo Colombo - VAI album review
VAI by Italian crooner Carlo Colombo is a beautiful big band style swing pop album with elements of boogie. The drumming is on point as the beats are thick and loud. His singing, style, and charisma is similar to Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin. Two songs from the album “Vai” were included in the soundtrack of two American movies: “Sicilian Pizza” in the movie “The Honor List” with Elissa Down and “Din don dan” in the movie “Book Club” with Bill Holderman, Diane Keaton, and Jane Fonda.
SICILIAN PIZZA was included in the soundtrack of the American movie “The Honor List” with Elissa Down. The song was about Carlo wanting Sicilian pizza. Better a toast with artichokes and with the red sauce that slips into his soul. He will never forget it. Not even a soda will succeed to calm this thirst for love that he knows will not end.
Din don dan was included in the soundtrack of the American movie “Book Club” with Bill Holderman, Diane Keaton, and Jane Fonda. He discusses how he wants hundreds of guests and a thousand fragrant flowers to celebrate for the woman he loves at a restaurant. They eat scallops with pancakes au gratin and seasoned strawberries on a cake as sweet as her.
LA MACCHINA USATA (THE USED MACHINE) was about how Carlo was looking for a used car.
Carlo is looking for a used car. Carlo want the used car to last a lifetime. He hopes it's guaranteed. Unfortunately his other car is finished. He wants a car that will cheer him up a little.
Then he remodeled the used car. He also remade the valves in a million kilometers and the tires are like skates. The fuses were changed. He won't talk to you about the brakes though. But the seats are still comfortable. There are many noises. I know.

Soulja Slim - The Streets Made Me album review
Soulja Slim - The Streets Made Me was one of No Limit’s most overlooked albums of 2001. The reason being is that Soulja Slim - The Streets Made Me was originally supposed to be distributed by Priority Records. However No Limit’s distribution contract with Priority Records had expired and Master P used Houston based Southwest Wholesale Distribution to release the album with which resulted in limited promotion and exposure. That is also why the album was released in 2001 on the short-lived "No Limit South" sublabel.
This overlooked second album of his should have been a platinum success nearly on the level of his debut album was. His second album had that raw hardcore lyrical sound. This was his second hardest album to date. Soulja Slim literally took gangsta rap of New Orleans to a whole another level with his second album.
Can't Touch Us was originally Afficial’s song which ended up being used on Soulja Slim’s 2001 album Streets Made Me. The song served as the good ender on Soulja Slim’s 2001 album. Afficial shows off their hardcore versatile lyrics. Afficial definitely brings out the East Coast flavor into the song. S-Flames was the hardest with the bars and Yukon was lit with the punchlines. They all brought different styles to their songs. Everyone knows Afficial are some straight head bustas. Ya heard me? No Limit is the family. The army is strong.
Afficial wears Jordans and ride on 23's (23 inch rims) on the truck while screened up (having tinted windows). Their chrome wheels on their truck feel like you are riding on ski’s. That is what the lyrics, “Chrome wheels it feel like you ridin' on ski’s” mean.
Smoking that sticky green. Afficial is spazzed out with a spaced out look. That is why members of Afficial have that spazzed out look. You can catch them rolling in their Jaguar. Play hard, pop fly, and get bitches to jump rope is their motto. Game over is the law and their motto also. These little niggas ain't ballin' right. Afficial gotta call the plays out. Afficial flips shit up and turn dogs back to puppies. They sure is ugly.
S-Flames was the hardest with the bars. Read these lyrics of his.
[Afficial (S-Flames)]
The bigger the barrel is it's harder to swallow
I gotta put you in the creek where the water is shallow
Afficial, game over is the law & the motto
Put it out for the bitches & the niggas to follow
Soulja Slim showcases how he is (was) still the lyrical veteran soulja with his lyrics on the song called Make it Happen. Soulja Slim took it back to this streets on this one joint with those hardcore versatile lyrics of his. The production is strong and heavy due to the number of layers used.
These lyrics showcase how he is (was) still the lyrical veteran soulja with his lyrics.
Cut throat 'em on Magnolia leave body parts on Willow
Dats how we do it, 6 court souljas off top
Keep 'em cocked wit out havin' second thoughts to pop
Uptown dats where I was born & raised
Chastised by veterans in they army brigades
When I grew up I wanted to just like them
Look at me now retired veteran, Soulja Slim
A lot of souljas made it and a lot of 'em didn't
It ain't easy bein' a soulja takes a lot of wig splittin'
Nigga just shot my dawg Double Crosser
Beef is on, heat is on, tweekin' for leakin' domes
Make it known when I come home clear tha whole corner
Somebody gon' die when my & my army ride
You niggas jive, who gonna thank me & my dawg won't kill ya
Had ya down dad should of let my dawg steel ya
Bustarized, realized, we crucifized, homicide
Lookin' for me wit the Chinese eyes
Gold grill from tha back to tha front, mask on
Done a walk by and got my blast on

Rosie Roulette - Racing the Dark album review
Rosie Roulette - Racing the Dark is one of those obscure neoclassical dark cabaret albums with a sense of gothic rock which hardly anyone knows about. Songs such as Silence Your Lips (With Tea), Poison, Ophelia, and Du und Ich are what make the album sound very dark and dreary.
Silence Your Lips (With Tea) is a dark cabaret punk song about how Rosie Roulette poisons man she used to love with tea as an act of putting an end to his treachery and agony. The song is a tale of hate and lust.
The tea is in her hand with every lump of sweet sugar she drops into his cup. And yet she does not understand how they got to this point in their lives. Caressing all her darkest fears. As for the man she was in love with… He ofter brought her to tears. Rosie loved him but he betrayed her. Pretending that he really cared. But Rosie will not cry for him. Rosie screamed until her heart turned blue. His never-ending spree hate, lust, and villainy won’t get the best of her.
Rosie’s plan is to silence his lips with tea to bring an end to his treachery with all the evil things he does. So that no others need to bleed at the hands of his selfish greed. For he could be the death of Rosie if she doesn’t put an end to this misery!
He walks into the room. Rosie feels how her heart used to swoon whenever he was near. She pulls out a dining chair for him and presents him with his tea. His probing eyes just stare at her. His sadistic eyes are still watching her as she brings him back his tea. Her heart skips a beat. As he gets up from his seat and pulls Rosie close to him, she screams until her lungs turn blue. She will manage to break free.
Du und Ich was about Rosie being locked in a hellish dream that seemed never-ending. She sings about how she is locked in a world without her man.
Rosie is locked inside a Hellish dream. She cannot sleep for lack of sleep because of this hellish dream. Every night’s a muffled scream. She can only moan, sigh, and weep. And when the light shines down on her window, she runs away and hides.
Rosie has found herself lost in a world without the man she loves. She only wishes her love would come and help her learn to overcome these suicidal thoughts she is thinking of. She barely find a way to survive when he is not by her side. Her love to him is true and genuine. She wants to escape this cold reality.

Ben Balmer - Loose Lips, Sunk Ships, Bruised Hips, and Booze Sips album review
Ben Balmer - Loose Lips, Sunk Ships, Bruised Hips, and Booze Sips is binding roots-y Americana with contemporary twists of folk music. He shows his true Americana roots on his songs.
The Ballad of Mariette DuMarier told the story of lioness and duchess Mariette DuMarier. The song explored Mariette’s parasitic relationship with her husband. The song was tragic due to the way the man who proposed to her used violence against her. A dark irony is that the same hands that abused her were the same hands that showered her with gifts. This is the story of Mariette DuMarier.
Mariette DuMarier was a lioness and a duchess of the dark, from Chicoutimi, Quebec, Canada with her husband on her arm. He was a soldier who made his life in Montreal, Quebec. He proposed to her that winter underneath the castle carnaval. Their love quickly turned sour when he learned to use his hands against her moonlight body until she could hardly stand. She waited patiently until one fateful day.
It was their anniversary 3 years ago this day when he promised her a happy life and children they could raise. But last year, her dreams of children vanished by his fists when his calloused knuckles hit her, and laid her womb to rest.
Then one morning, "Bonjour my loving husband. I've made for you this breakfast, lets celebrate this day," Mariette did say. It was his favorite breakfast which consisted of three eggs, corned beef hash, rye toast, apple butter, and left over succotash.
Those hands that struck her daily, they showered her with gifts, strung pearls round her neck, and brushed her smiling lips. Last of all a box was placed upon her milky thighs. Just another bribe she knew all too well to her blackened eyes. She opened up the lid revealing silken lingerie, garter belts, corsets, and a whale-bone bustier. He said, "You'll wear these for me tonight to celebrate our love these past 3 happy years, and countless more to come."
The evening came quickly and the moon was shining bright. He called to Mariette his plan was beating her that night. Marietta makes a proposition to her love to suggest they go on a lover’s stroll. She said, "Let’s take a lover's stroll. Let me just change my clothes. I’ve fixed you buttered rum inside your thermos by the stove." They walked round the frozen pond where he had drilled a hole to fish. He sipped his buttered rum and was feeling quite refreshed. Mariette undid her winter coat to reveal what was within. That bustier and garters. And flawless porcelain skin.
She pranced onto the pond and her husband followed close. Her steps were light and sure while his were drunk and slow. He stumbled on that ice, His hands were slow and stiff. Mariette just danced ahead and teased him with her hips. She said, "I hope you like that rum. I was worried you'd suspect. I guess its' just that poison takes some time to take effect."
His breath was slow and ragged as he heard the words she spoke. Then suddenly, he fell down to his knees and struggled not to choke. Mariette began to drag him towards that hole he drilled for fish. "This is for my body that you promised to cherish. It's also for the children that I will never bear. explain that to the devil when you see him under there." Her skin shone in the moonlight as his body sank away,
Ben tells the stories of girls tattoos he’s seen on the song Dark-Haired Girls' Tattoos. This is one of his vivid darker songs. All these old stories seem new on that dark haired girls' tattoos.
The first ink Ben saw was on her neck. An anchor that said, “no regrets”. Her grandfather died in the second World War when a U-boat put him on the ocean floor. Every mark upon her skin is a way to take her back again to a special place within her mind. Within her mind a catalogue where she can always find a friend.
She's been down this lonely road so many times. She just don't know where it starts. All these old stories seem new on that dark haired girls' tattoos.
She rolled up her sleeve and showed an ace of spades. That was a tattoo she got after winning in a card game. It was the first time she ever got a little bit of cash. She bought her very first car and crashed.
Yeah she's bled for every decision she's made. That's why her knuckles read "stay away". Her flesh is papyrus to a prophet. They're her secret runes and her holy glyphs. A portal through some ancient rift.

Jerome - Too Old For Me album review
If you love Tevin Campbell, Lil Johnny, or Quindon Tarver, then you will love the sounds of Jerome Childers. Remember when Jerome Childers was signed to Bad Boy Records back in the day from 1996 to 1998? That is when Jerome Childers went under the name of Jerome. He was a Bad Boy protege under tutelage of Puff Daddy in 1996. (A child protege at that who was 11.) He wrote songs, produced, and sang on many hooks during his time on Bad Boy. Jerome is most memorable for his singing though. (He produced for Bad Boy Records and Puff Daddy from 1996 to 2000.) Jerome has some amazing singing talent with these ballads on his debut album Jerome - Too Old For Me.
Producers who contributed their production and sound were Mario Winans, D-Dot, Heavy D, and Teddy Riley. Heck even the Puff Daddy sound can be heard throughout the album. Heavy D and Teddy Riley production sounds really stand out on this amazing album! You can hear Mario Winans work all over this album.
Too Old For Me was the buzz single that led Jerome to have popularity in the spotlight for a short period of time. Too Old For Me has a catchy beat that is still considered memorable to this day. Production for this song was top notch with no flaw. The production was flawless. Some of you may remember that the soulful single was accompanied by a music video which had featured cameos of Puff Daddy, Keisha of Total, LOX, and NORE of course.
Too Old For Me was about Jerome hitting on a girl that was clearly too old for him. However he sees that love and romance have no age limit.
When Jerome first saw her, he wanted to become a man. Each and everyday he sits and dreams of holding her hand. Jerome told all his boys how he felt for her. When they laid their eyes on her, they laughed. They say she is just too old for him. However Jerome refuses to believe this and sees no age limit on love and romance.
Come Around My Way is a short and sweet song written by Jerome himself. The song lasts more than 2 minutes. Keisha was a song about a girl Jerome used to know. Keisha was a girl from around the way in his hometown of Akron, Ohio.
Come Around My Way could have been chosen as another buzz single. Puff Daddy dropped the ball here by not doing so. Who knows what Puffy was thinking. Not making Come Around My Way a single was one of Puffy’s dumbest business decisions ever made. He did not even give the song a chance to become a single.
Dear Yvette was a secret romantic relationship Jerome had with this girl named Yvette. They kept their relationship strictly on the down low away from everyone else.
Jerome can think of younger days when he used to dream about cotton candy in a movie. Playin’ around like a little kid’s supposed to. Then he met her. Jerome met this girl named Yvette. Ooh how she moved him. He is curious and wants to know if he has a chance with her for a shot at romance. He wonders if Yvette can keep a secret. So he asks her, “Dear Yvette, can you keep a secret?” He never felt this way before. It must be true love. Jerome has got a thing for Yvette.
He tells his friends he’ll catch them later on the rebound because they don’t know how deep his love and admiration for Yvette is. He can’t believe that he is feeling the way he does. He’ll do anything to get a little close to her
How Could You Leave is a heartbreak hotel type of song dealing with a relationship where the girlfriend leaves Jerome for someone else to be her new boyfriend. The song mainly revolves around a broken relationship. Betrayal and heartbreak are the themes for this song. After all it's hard being a young boy in love. He wonders how his girlfriend could leave him for someone else when she was the one for him.
Despite having a buzz single under the most prestigiously known record label of the era, the Jerome - Too Old For Me album never saw an official release as a retail album but instead as an album sampler released as a promo across the United States and Canada. Promo copies of this do exist in limited quantities. The buzz single did not exceed to meet the expectations Bad Boy Records was hoping for in order to become a chart topping success.
To clear out the air from any rumors, Jerome Childers was not caught in the dressing room masturbating to a picture of Keisha from Total during the recording session for the Too Old For Me music video. That's total bullshit. Nor was Jerome fired by Puff Daddy or Mase as some people would believe.
But the real reason why the Too Old For Me album did not see a proper release is because Jerome fell ill with a certain kind of unpredictable sickness which affected his vocal chords. That led him to be released from his recording contract with Bad Boy Records. Also the album failed to produce any chart topping singles. After awhile he went back to producing for Bad Boy until 2000 when he left the label and moved back to Akron, Ohio.
Puberty is another key factor that led to his downfall with Bad Boy Records. His vocals kept changing which made it hard to difficult for him to hit certain notes at different pitches. He could not sing certain notes or octaves with his vocal range as he used to.
Luckily for us, Jerome Childers has bounced back onto the music scene writing, singing, and producing as an independent artist. You can listen to his music on MySpace or purchase a physical copy of his albums through email or CDBaby. He has since released a few albums of his own away from Bad Boy Records. Now he is back to writing and producing.

Calista Kazuko - EMPRESS album review
EMPRESS by Calista Kazuko is a beautiful abstract cinematic melodramatic cabaret noir album and art pop with a slight touch of dark jazz and swing hop. Basically her entire album is one art pop masterpiece from 2019. The musical style is well suitable for music theatre. A bit of sophistipop can be heard across the album too. The Empress Calista Kazuko shows that she is a force to be reckoned with.
Unleash your inner Empress and let this catastrophically captivating concept album take you on a journey through time. The Empress will see you now. Yummy bonus items include exclusive artwork, photos and lyric sheets.
The Empress is the soft, sultry, and jazzy opener to the Empress. Her singing style is similar to Amy Winehouse and Dinah Washington on this song especially. This song speaks to women very well since Calista wrote the lyrics from a woman’s point of view.
Once upon a time, lived an unassuming girl with pigtails in her hair knot adds not a care in this world.
But the years aren’t kind, sometimes we have to feel alone. Then one day you wake up and decide you’re tired of this bullshit life. And you’re a badass bitch on a mission!
So when you see The Empress Calista Kazuko, don’t feel alarmed. She rolls with 5 pimp armed bodyguards. The Empress will see you now. Knock. Suck it in. now take a bow. When you’ve got nothing to lose, your mind plays tricks on you. You best dress to impress The Empress.
Come to Mama uses a huge touch of abstract cinematic melodramatic cabaret noir and abstract sophistipop. A small portion of swing hop is used in the chords and beats. The song is an art pop masterpiece. The song is hypnotics and tranquil do to the way the lyrics were written.
Welcome to the world of Calista Kazuko, won’t you come on in? Her people will adore you. When it comes to love her sheets are lined with gold. And she is not afraid to use her powers. Be aware since her powers have improved. She has ruled the world. Now she wants to rule you. Let her be your Queen. Life will be a dream. Come on, baby. Don’t be shy! Come to Mama.
To her (at least her viewpoint), there is no such thing as female power. She calls it brash menstrual shrouded anger.
Lady Cherry is one of those deep philosophical songs where Calista sings and discusses the philosophy of life. Calista plays the role of Lady Cherry. Lady Cherry uses a mixture of dark jazz, alternative rock, and art pop. A small portion of swing hop is used in the chords and beats. Lady Cherry invites you in. She’ll take you to a parallel world unknown. Get lost in her symphony.
Let’s give a warm welcome to Lady Cherry. She is here to talk all the philosophy of life. Think of a honey bee. It’s truly something special sent from above. Fill a cup of love. Such a piece of magic won’t be forgotten easily. Come have a taste and see…
These lyrics explain how creatures, even insects, are something special from above. “Think of a honey bee. You won’t believe, It’s truly something special, sent from above,”
More than a moon ago, Lady Cherry played roulette with her soul. She and the Devil sat at that table. Lust was the dealer fixed from the start. Lady Cherry pulled the Queen of Hearts. “Fie this voodoo magic if I die then you will all be cursed!” Cried Satan as he tasted her medicine. Victory for Lady Cherry!
Benzo Belle is about a controlling woman who can be anything a man wants her to be. Benzo Belle uses field recordings over an art pop soundscape. The lyrics are quite repetitive due to the heavy usage and reliance on the word “and”.
These lyrics explain and expose how much of a controlling woman Benzo Belle really is.
Robot lover, Benzo Belle, lacklustre, lifeless, vacuum shell…
I hate you.
Well, if I felt anything I’m sure that I’d hate you,
I’d squash you.
Payback for all of the squashing and all of the rolling,
And grunting and huffing and puffing,
And gnawing and scratching and boredom,
And all of your games, I don’t find them funny,
And words all those mean words,
And lies all those sweet little lies,
And looks those looks of hate,
Oh this is tiring let’s go back to sleep…
I can be anything for you baby.
Robot lover, Benzo Belle, lacklustre, lifeless, vacuum.
Oh well….
Ode to Genevieve was a song dedicated to a friend named Genevieve who feels she has got to hide because she is scared of what people say. This is one of the more heartfelt art pop songs on the album.
It sucks Genevieve feels she has got to hide because she is scared of what those people say. She’s been running all her life. They’re not on her side. They’re not her mates. People can be so full of hate. Calista tells Genevieve, “Don’t listen to their lies. You’re perfect in my eyes.” Fuck those small minded brutes! She is not just some bloke in a wig. She is a beautiful human being.
Dear Sabotage is a traditional jazz song which explains how Calista has big dreams of paradise all the time just to escape the boredom of her own petty life.
Notice how the beats from the drums follow a slow pace. That is the traditional jazz portion of the song. Traditional jazz meets art pop and sophistipop on Dear Sabotage. The chords from the piano make the soundscape very angelic and celestial.
Calista has 5 children. She has jobs where she is working 9 to 5 and 5 to 9. Who? Who will save Calista from losing her own mind? Calista has big dreams of paradise beach all the time just to escape the boredom of her own petty life.
Every day at roughly a quarter past 3 PM, she whispers a little prayer meant only for her. It goes, "Dear Sabotage - you know how to get to my heart, you see right through. Dear Sabotage - you were my best friend from the start. I need you!"
She likes to play bingo and the national lottery. Born to be a winner! Now there's nothing winning about her. Her 5 children want to roam wild and free. So free that she loses them to flaws of society.
Every night at roughly a quarter to 10 PM, she writes a letter that she’ll never send. It goes, "Dear Sabotage - you know how to get to my heart, you see right through.Dear Sabotage - you were my best friend from the start. I need you! And PS you need me too. And PS you love me too."
S.S. Lizzie is a melodramatic art pop song about the Hungarian noblewoman Countess Elizabeth Báthory de Ecsed (Elizabeth Báthory) from the country of Hungary. The song explained how she tortured and killed hundreds of females to stay youthful.
Elizabeth Báthory has been surrounded by four walls for 4 years. She is old and slowly dying.
Elizabeth Báthory once had it all, untold fame and fortune. But how the mighty fall. So they found pieces of bones deep in the walls of her home. Ferenc Nádasdy’s nasty mind left them behind.
Blood Bath Báthory plead sheer vanity. Virgin girls are so youthful. She needed their beauty. She bathes in blood to keep her youthful. Please don’t hate Sweet Sick Lizzie.
You can’t catch Elizabeth Báthory because her family tree will protect her due to her nobility and social status song with social class and ranking. These lyrics explained how Countess Elizabeth Báthory got away with committing her murderous atrocious crimes and how her nobility and social status prevented her from being prosecuted for her crimes. “You can’t catch me, ‘cause my family tree will protect me”
Elizabeth Báthory often dreamt of being 4 years old. Home at Ecsed Castle, being a perfect little girl.
She was betrothed at age 10. She had 4 children of her own. Oh how the people loved ‘The Lizzie Show’. When you’re young and hate is all you know, you are incapable to show love without blood. And though you know it’s wrong, you can’t say no.
These lyrics explained how hate can affect a person for the rest of their life when all they know is hate. ”When you’re young and hate is all you know, incapable to show love without blood,
And though you know it’s wrong, you can’t say no. Nice and slow, make them moan, feel the control.”
Sick Like Me explained how sick in the head The Empress really is. The song explains how she used to have a healthy mind but now has a sick mind. The song also explains how she has so many friends online but not many friends offline.
We know these rhythms but we can’t dance and move to the beat. So we just flow like rivers to our own groove and our own trance! Where in the world do we go from here?
The Empress is a beauty queen lost in a pipe-dream. She used to be a healthy mind, but now she is sick and blind. The Empress is sick from this world and its health disease. She is sick from her teacher’s gifts to her. Stick to me and get sick like her!
The Empress is sick and craves for my likes on Instagram. She cares more for her fans than her own family. She’ll get a job. (Not a real job. A butt job.) Then The Empress will be famous and everyone will love her!
She is sick for the sycophants obsessed with her life as they are there for her every day every night. So many friends when she switches on her iPhone, but so alone when she turns out the light.
The Empress went out in style on the sophistipop song CAKE. The song is a “let them eat cake” type of song.
The Empress has been feeling so guilty lately because her people suffer incredibly apparently which is deeply saddening her. Let them eat cake. Let them go out in style.
A little sugar to ease the pain and if it’s true what the people say, they’re gonna die anyway, The Empress is not the kind of girl who would let her people down. She doesn’t know why people choose to despise her. It’s really quite unfair since she is not the enemy. The Empress did not ask to be blessed with such brains and beauty and the perfect life. She’ll be the martyr!
The way the lyrics were written were like lines to a movie script or an episode script.
Will you dance with me through the glass?… (1-2-3-4)
Mmm I’m sexy and don’t I know it,
Oh yeah and I’m totes the Queen.
The Empress has been feeling so guilty lately because her people suffer incredibly apparently which is deeply saddening her.
My,
It’s me.
Qu’ils mangent de la brioche,
I’ll be the martyr the hero the lot!
Let them eat cake, let ‘em go out in style.
A little sugar to ease the pain and if it’s true what the people say,
They’re gonna die anyway,
I’m not the kind of girl who would let my man down.
Let them eat cake, Let them eat cake!
I don’t know why you choose to despise me,
It’s really quite unfair, I’m not the enemy.
I did not ask to be blessed with such brains and beauty and the perfect life,
Sorry not sorry!
Qu’on vive comme les enfants du paradis,
Woah, how the people will fucking adore me! So…
Let them eat cake, let ‘em go out in style.
A little sugar to ease the pain and if it’s true what the people say,
They’re gonna die anyway,
I’m not the kind of girl who would let my man down.
Let them eat cake, Let them eat cake!
We Are Empress is the minute and a half long (1:32) closer to the Empress album which basically an instrumental. The instrumentation is perfect.
5/5*****!!
