The Brian Setzer Orchestra - Songs From Lonely Avenue album review
Songs From Lonely Avenue was the first album to feature all completely original songs written by Brian Setzer for his orchestra band collectively known as The Brian Setzer Orchestra. The album relies heavily on that swing revival sound of swing jazz a lot more than his usual signature rockabilly sound.
Lonely Avenue is the sad slow tempo swing jazz song that is played in a downtempo form. The song has urban feeling and sound from New York City. The song deals with loneliness and isolation which is why loneliness is a theme that is/can be felt. Brian laments about how his lady is no longer in his life. Lonely Avenue is a place to take a stroll when you get the blues. You'll meet you don't know who when you take a walk down Lonely Avenue.
The rain keeps comin' down in a lonesome New York town. Brian knows his lover is not around. But still he thinks he sees her reflection in the glass. Is it too late to ask for one more round? A town this big he never knew could have a Lonely Avenue. There is nothing left to do. Well at least not with her. Brian took it kinda hard. He thinks that there's a chance their paths may never cross again.
Lonely Avenue is a place to take a stroll when you get the blues. You'll meet you don't know who when you take a walk down Lonely Avenue.
These lyrics showcased and implied that their relationship was through.
Man, I'm through with you
Your sidewalks are all cracked
All my memories are blue
I'll cross another street
But first I'll tell you
What I'm gonna do
I'll never walk again
Down that Lonely Avenue
Love Partners in Crime is a song about how Brian and his lover are an inseparable couple that are deeply in love with each other. They are lovers together.
Brian has got a place he wants go someday. He doesn't know where and he don't know how. The time for Brian and his lover is now. They want to leave your troubles and all their cares behind. They are lovers together. Both of them are just lover partners in crime sailing from star to star. Flyin' high up in the sky. Love is a moonlit night.
You can tell this song takes place during a nighttime setting reading and listening to these lyrics.
Sailin' from star to star
Flyin' high up in the sky
Love is a moonlit night
Never ever kiss me goodbye
Dimes in the Jar is a song that teaches us not to be deceive by another person’s kindness because that person’s kindness could lead to a malicious trap of deceit and deception. Brian falls in love with a woman who thinks she loves him but is only after his money.
That the nicer they treat you, the more they're inclined to deceive. But Brian is here for the long run. Brain found a good woman to love. She looks like she could run. She looks like the good one so far. Even though people say faster you get there, the longer it takes you to leave. It started out dandy.
Now Brian never got handed a dollar by no one. He was not born wealthy or was ever a member of the elite. He earned every dime in the jar. But little does he know that woman only after his money. But that's only part of the trap. She gets an attorney and his name is Bernie. He'll string you up like a cat. Then he will leave you penniless.

The Brian Setzer Orchestra - Guitar Slinger album review
Guitar Slinger by The Brian Setzer Orchestra is an underrated swing revival album which uses a mixture of cabaret swing, rockabilly, and swing jazz. For the most part the album relies heavily on that swing revival sound of swing jazz. Now the album does entirely rely on the swing revival sound or jazz. Songs such as Ghost Radio, Buzz Buzz, Guitar Slinger, (The Legend of) Johnny Kool, and Sammy Davis City rely on that vintage rockabilly sound. But one thing is certain is that Guitar Slinger was an underrated swing revival album for its time.
The Man With the Magic Touch uses loud vibrant cabaret swing production like you would hear on Broadway in New York City or Las Vegas. The song has that theatrical sound. Brian sings about the many who has the magic touch when it comes to card games.
Now some people got it and some people don't. I'm talking about getting all the things in life that you want. You can wish it might happen. You can call it dumb luck. But that guy's so lucky, he's just way much too much. He's the man with the magic touch. Don't give me all that "got lucky" such and such.
He won an all-expenses-paid vacation on a cruise ship around the world And when he gets home, he don't bother lookin' for no girl. He's got a straight to the ace and a royal flush. If he don't want it, he throws it right back. He knows some poor sucker's gonna take up the slack. When it comes to good loving, he ain't hesitating. Baby go rub his back for good luck.
Brian talks about getting caught up in a thunderstorm west of the Pecos River in Texas on the Texas swing influenced Ghost Radio. He encounters a group people trapped in a flood over a bridge that overlaps across the Pecos River. He hauled those people free with the grinding of his engine in his Ford truck.
Ghost Radio uses a mixture of Western swing, Texas swing, rockabilly, cabaret, and jazz. The song heavily relies on the sounds of Western swing, Texas swing, rockabilly, and cabaret swing for the most part.
As Brian came across the Pecos River in Texas and broke west of the line, this thunderstorm was running towards west of the Pecos River, it ran him out of time. So he was racing through the rain with this rig from Tennessee when a voice cut through the static thus bringing comfort home to Brian.
They were singing. Brian ain't sittin' in no shack. He’s got himself a Ford right out the back. If he ain't there in nothing flat with a honky-tonk attitude, he’ll be doing the straight line swing.
Now the levee wall somewhere along the Pecos River was breaking. Rocks were rolling from the ridge. An announcer broke in saying there was a bus trapped on the bridge. So Brian turned his rig around only to find he was axle-deep in mud. And he found those people stranded. The bridge was groaning in the flood.
He hauled those people free with the grinding of his engine in his Ford truck as the raging river was rising. The driver came thanking him. So Brian told him about the message. The driver said, “That can't be right. The storm knocked out the radio tower late last Saturday night.” Still Brian’s radio was singing. He ain't sitting in no shack.
Brian pays homage and tribute to Texas swing pioneer legends such as Bob Wills and the Texas Playboys in the song with these lyrics”Out the dead air on the waveband, the Texas Playboys break/You'll hear a keening voice, Bob Wills is with you as you drive/And you'll know you got a broadcast straight from 1935”
Brian sings about how his lady only cares for him on the song called My Baby Only Cares for Me.
Brian’s lady don't hang out with anyone else in the crowd. Her stiletto heels tap on the dance floor as she does what she feels as the crowd roars. She doesn't care what anyone else thinks of her. Hey loverboy, you ain't got nothin' she needs. Brian’s baby only cares for Brian.
They’re a ship in the night all alone on the sea. Silently waiting for love to explode on the scene. Secretly wishing for someone to sweep her away. What can he say? It could happen. Barons and earls would love to date her. She doesn't give second chances. Just one dance and you'll be caught in her trance.
Guitar Slinger is the guitar driven rockabilly ballad of the album. Brian tells an anecdote of how The Brian Setzer Orchestra adventures split to nail a rumor about some gigs for work in New Orleans, Louisiana. You gotta keep moving in a mean town. It's better going nowhere than just standing around. That’s the message used and conveyed in the song.
The restaurant establishment kicked The Brian Setzer Orchestra out for playing too loud. Brian carried his amp out through the crowd. Some chick took a beer and threw it in his face but just kept on walking.
Outside it was warm. There was a good crowd on the strip. The Brian Setzer Orchestra set they stuff down and had a smoke like they were waiting for a ride. And all the while Brian was thinking, “You gotta keep moving in a mean, mean town.” It's better going nowhere than just standing around. By tomorrow morning he’ll be leaving town. He’ll go any place but he ain't going down.
Brian called Shorty and Lefty. There was a bassman called Beans. So they split to nail a rumor about some work in New Orleans. A twenty fed the tank. Two bucks fed the band. Maybe they could make it down in jambalaya band in a Meade Lux Lewis bar. That's where they found the job. Knocking tin pan out for tips mostly from the mob. The Brian Setzer Orchestra play the blues when they're drunk. They’ll get some shirts from the islands and some Cuban rock 'n' roll shoes.
But when The Brian Setzer Orchestra played the Lost Highway, a juice head said The Brian Setzer Orchestra were hicks. And the whole bar began to beat them with pool sticks and half sticks. They got the radio out of the car. They must have used a bomb. But when The Brian Setzer Orchestra piled in and gunned her, she still sang the sweetest sung.
Lefty woke among the bottles. He said he could not come north. They left him on Canal Street trading in his drums. Brian saw Elvis hitchhiking out on the interstate (I 10). Beans was getting paranoid about their California plates.
A police cruiser pulled them over right across the line. Police had booked all of the members in as vagrants in holding tank number #9. You learn how to flat pick when you're looking at a .44. You do the orange blossom special till the peel falls on the floor. The bass man had a bust from back home in a raid. So it was just Brian and Shorty. Standing on main parade. They liquidized our assets in a bar and did not talk.
Then they hopped a non stop greyhound to the big bad beauty of New York City, New York. Brian woke up on 23rd Street. As someone backed into the slot, Brian saw that him and Shorty had been robbed of the belongings they had. Then a guy said through the window, “This is the end of the line.” Brian said, “Brother, I'm a guitar slinger. And this is just doing fine.”
(The Legend of) Johnny Kool told the anecdote of a rebel named Johnny Kool. Everyone can't stop talking about the legend of Johnny Kool. The song uses a mixture of swing jazz and classic rock with the horns, cymbals, and guitar.
Brian had one cup of coffee and a cigarette. Then he rolled out of bed with his shirt soaking wet. If he was gonna get movin', now was the time. So he packed up his bags and his Gretsch '59.
It's a tough life but when push comes to shove. It's the only life for Johnny Kool. He was a rebel that broke all the rules. He played his guitar and he sang like a fool. Everyone can't stop talking about the legend of Johnny Kool. Rumor had it now this cat had it all. He was loud, he was wild, and he sure rocked the hall. Some guy grabbed Brian’s arm and he jumped on the stage. And he was rockin' with a guy who was twice his age.
Buzz Buzz is a jazz rock influenced rockabilly song which revisits (The Legend of) Johnny Kool as the Johnny Kool character is used. Johnny Kool finds himself abusing drugs through the use of a syringe. The song deals with the pain of drug addiction.
Johnny's got a habit that he can't hide. Johnny Kool is livin' life from high to high. When nighttime comes, you can hear him cry with each jolt of pain from the needle. Buzz buzz goes the needle. Day is night and night is day. Being alive just gets in the way. The twisting snake inside his brain whispers to him, "Time to kill the pain" Takin' a walk on the wild side.
They told him opportunity was just around the corner. Well he wore out his shoes tryin' to find that corner. He might just pick himself up again. Buzz buzz goes the needle. He's not a new tattoo dedicated to you as the ink and the blood mix with pain. It's a man on a white horse goin' nowhere. And the man has no face or no name. With the walls closin' in, he's runnin' for cover. He's spinnin' way out of control.

The Brian Setzer Orchestra - Vavoom! album review
The Brian Setzer Orchestra - Vavoom! was one of the more livelier swing revival albums of the year 2000 which had such a significant live band that performed the live instrumentation and production on the songs to the album which made everything sound perfect. The album uses a mixture of swing jazz and cabaret. Of course the album relies heavily on that swing revival sound of swing jazz.
The Footloose Doll is about a man named Eddie who has his eyes set on a girl dancing like on Footloose. This was one of the more livelier songs on the album. Obviously the song was solely inspired by the movie Footloose given the dance themes.
Look at that chick in the silvery dress. She's got a cool tattoo and her hair is a mess. Every single guy in the joint is just watching her dance. Look at her shimmy on down. She's the footloose doll dancin' like a hurricane. Now if you’re ever in town and wanna try your luck, the footloose doll can really shake you up. But never underestimate the power of the feline cat. It's your turn to swing. It's your night on the town. A little gin goes a long way. So please pass it around.
Standing at the bar was long cool Eddie. He had a few drinks and he's not really steady. He lacked ability to control his movements due to his state of drunkenness. But he had his eyes fixated on the footloose doll. She called out to Eddie and said, "Hey Eddie." He was there in an instant. Then she said, "You know you kinda look like Gene Vincent. " That was all he needed to hear. And that was all she wrote. But don't even know her name. She's the footloose doll dancin' like a hurricane.
They found poor Eddie by the side of the road. His clothes were all torn up and his car had been towed. He never had a chance with a chick like the footloose doll. Everyone soon realized he was not on the level of the footloose doll.
’49 Mercury Blues is about the car trouble Brian had with his 1949 Mercury. Just think of all the trouble that car is putting Brian through.
Brian’s 1949 Mercury car has broken down on the side of the road. The brakes got locked up in the rain. Smoke is pouring out from under the hood. He is stuck on the highway again. He is too young to quit and too old to change. The chopped top is slammed down. Now he can't find a phone and can't hitch a ride. Who would stop for him anyway? You would think that after all of these cars he’s owned he would break down and join triple A (AAA). Just think of all the trouble that car is putting Brian through. Brian has got the ’49 Mercury blues.
Americano is about an “Americano Texas cowboy” who acts like a cowboy but is not really one.
This “Americano Texas cowboy” is driving a jeep but he ain't in the Army. He gets all his cigarette money from his mommy. He’s dressed like a rootin' tootin' Texas cowboy. But this lone ranger's never seen a horse. He is a wanna be Americano. He is a wanna be Americano Texas cowboy.
He wants to drive a Cadillac. Now he's chasing showgirls. Smokin' Camels, whiskey, and soda. Now he's never goin' back. He's cruising the streets searching for gold while dressed in designer clothes. Gotta buy a diamond ring because that's his baby's favorite thing. He's in the land where anything can happen. Just remember he's Americano because he'll take everything.

Roger Cicero - Beziehungsweise album review
Roger Cicero - Beziehungsweise is one of the lesser known German swing jazz albums from Germany which not too many people know about. Roger Cicero’s style is predominantly that of 1940s and 1950s swing music combined with German lyrics. He sings and performs in the style of a crooner similar to Frank Sinatra. A majority of his songs are love songs given that jazz is a genre he specializes in.
Roger sings about the woman who is at the top of his list of the women yet to be kissed by him on the romantic love song Die Liste (The List).
This woman Roger has his eyes set on jogs every day at a quarter to 10 AM. Sometimes he gets up just to see her run during her morning jog. The line is long at the checkout. The others are free no matter how long he waits. It's May. Roger is walking through Berlin, Germany collecting fantasies. Roger has got her at the top his list of women yet to be kissed by him. She is his bright spot of choice. She’s someone to hang out with. She just has to trust herself.
Roger drives to the tax office. It's worth it to him because she explains taxes to him so wonderfully. He likes her eyes. He often stares at/into her eyes. That woman over there gave him a ticket. He says to himself, "That fits!"
Nimm deinen Kerl zurück (Take Your Guy Back) is about a friend who was living with Roger ever since his girlfriend Annette kicked him out. Roger wants Annette to take him back because he has been driving Roger crazy with the constant whining, nagging, and pestering. This leads Roger to request that Annette take his friend back. Now Roger normally wouldn't really care either but he's a friend of his that wants to go back to her.
Ever since Annette kicked him out, he's been living with Roger. She must have her reasons for this. Of course Roger totally respects Annette’s decision to kick him out of her residence. Roger normally wouldn't really care either but he's a friend of his that wants to go back to her. Roger wants Annette to take him back because he has been driving Roger crazy with the constant whining, nagging, crying, and pestering. When he's not crying, then he writes her poems that are 5 pages long. He's nagging at Roger with her story. He's going completely crazy.
Roger sings and tells Annette in his crooner style voice similar to Frank Sinatra, “Ok Annette. Ever since you kicked him out, he's been living with me. You must have your reasons for this. I totally respect your decision. I wouldn't really care either. But he's a friend of mine and he wants to go back to you. Take your guy back. Annette, please. He's going completely crazy. He's nagging at me with your story. And when he's not crying then he writes you poems. 5 pages long. And I listen to it. And so please! Annette! Take your guy back.”
He's been lying on Roger’s sofa for weeks and wails in minor key. Then he chain smokes and talks. Roger, of course, is really extremely detailed now and informed about her (their) love life. He watches talk shows until 3 AM in the morning and makes so much dirt. Roger know his quirks. His panic attacks.
He requests that Annette take his friend back while singing. “He's been lying on my sofa for weeks and wails in minor. Then he chain smokes and talks. I'm really extremely detailed now. Informed about your love life. He watches talk shows until three in the morning and makes so much dirt. I know his quirks. His panic attacks. But you'll make it. And I'll help him pack too. But please, Annette. Take your guy back.”
Kein Abendessen (No Dinner) is about Roger skipping out on his dinner plans for a dinner date with his lover due to a sickness he caught. He is not in the mood for a dinner date due to a sore throat and stomach.
Roger knows he promised to go out on a dinner date with his lover. But he is not in the mood dinner date due to a sore throat and stomach. He tells her, “I know we promised. But I'm really not in the mood. I feel kind of broken. I've got a sore throat. I think I'm hatching something. And I don't feel good on my stomach either.”
A strip is running on RTL today with a socially critical flair. Two guys like that show off their super noses on a movie called Die Supernasen (The Supernoses). Roger is a fan of comedian Mike Krüger. But Roger doesn't wanna go there tonight. Not another evening with the two of them actors. Roger would rather play dead and spend it in the basement with just water and bread.
Screw it. They’re staying at home. No dinner at Lutz and Tina's. As for his lover, she's doing a cooking experiment at home which consists of organic carrot puree with wieners. (Hey this Germany after all.) Mike Krüger keeps interrupting Roger by singing to them self-written songs over the television.
An evening like this never ends after the third glass of wine. He talks slurringly about the Bundeswehr (armed forces of Germany). She's packing again. The photos from the wedding and for dessert there's old Camembert. They’ve wanted to for years go to the attic and reorder everything that lies there. They're always so much. They don't even notice that.
Ich hätt’ so gern noch Tschüss gesagt (I would have loved to say goodbye) told the story of how Roger would have loved to say goodbye to his mother one last time. The song was a heartfelt letter to his mother.
Roger would have loved to say goodbye. He would loved to have made one last song with her. A handful of jazz on the piano. He would have liked to hug her. He took one last piece of advice from his mother. One last "Take care my son!" on her golden hands. His mother taught him how to learned to walk, swim and ride a bike. Roger often copied it. Of course it wasn't always easy. They discussed often sometimes loudly. His mother liked to improvise a lot in life.
Alle Möbel verrückt (All Furniture Crazy) explained Roger’s crazy obsession about furniture and what his fixation on furniture was.
Roger is all furniture crazy. That bathroom of his is full of pink plush and lots of decorative fruit is pointlessly lying around. He longs for his home to be filled with furniture. Sofa cushions creased. Soft pastel curtains. Scented candles in the hallway. There's a birthday calendar hanging on the kitchen door. The fridge is full. He was always behind them hiding empty pizza boxes. (I don't know exactly what that's supposed to mean.)
The carpet now only shines to consist of vacuum cleaner marks. And now you can look through the windows. He has the feeling that a woman lives with him. Roger always wonders what it means.

Roger Cicero - Artgerecht album review
Roger Cicero - Artgerecht is one of the more upbeat German swing jazz albums from Germany. This album of his is more upbeat which uses that live freeform jazz sound performed by a big band. This album of his is more upbeat than his other albums. Songs such as Boutique, Ich bin dabei, and Internet Single Börse are some examples of upbeat swing music songs which use that live freeform jazz sound. Big band jazz meets freeform jazz and swing music on Roger Cicero - Artgerecht. Roger Cicero’s style is predominantly that of 1940s and 1950s swing music combined with German lyrics.
Spontis zeugen Banker (Spontaneously Beget Bankers) is about Roger trying to impress his girlfriend by hiding the truth of his parent’s careers from her.
Roger tells his father and mother to clean up because his girlfriend is coming, what does it look like here? He tells them to hide their drugs because her father is a cop. His father is on probation. So he needs to be extra cautious. Roger tells his parents, “Father. Mother. Please clean up here! My girlfriend is coming. What does it look like here? Hide your drugs. Her father is a cop. And dad, please remember you're on probation.”
He tells them to turn that Jimmy Hendrix music off because he still has to practice the cello. Why are they lubricating everywhere? Is there some tantra thing going on here? But at some point in old age, they adapt. That's probably one of those things that never changes. Roger never wanted to be like his parents either.
Spontis zeugen Banker is one of his most politically charged songs to date. He uses references to terms such as “revolutionaries” and “communists” in this song of his. For example, “Left communists give birth to chauvinists” and “And bourgeois little nasty revolutionaries” Roger gets political and revolutionary with these lyrics.
Spontaneously beget bankers - judges get punks
And bourgeois little nasty revolutionaries
Left communists give birth to chauvinists
Pedants always make fools of themselves
But at some point in old age, they adapt
The stone thrower - rebel at a young age
Will be foreign minister - in tails with short hair
The father probably - was suddenly incredibly proud
Forget, forgive, we're made of the same cloth
I'm sure Alice Schwarzer's son -
Once suppose she had
He would definitely always be like me be "Pascha of the month".
Only President George W
Once ruled the country like his father -
Somehow it didn't work for him
Spontaneously beget bankers - judges get punks
And bourgeois little nasty revolutionaries
Left communists give birth to chauvinists
Pedants always make fools of themselves
Seine Ruhe (It’s Calm) described a man’s calm demeanor and attitude. He marries a woman who believes she’s the one for him. However after spending two weeks in Hawaii, they find out by coming to the realization that they were not meant for each other or not perfect for each other. Then he begins stalking her a year later and found her with someone else.
This man was once number one in his industry that was business he engaged in. A wedding in white and a very large circle. He marries a woman who believes she’s the one for him. However after spending two weeks in Hawaii, they come to realize they are not meant for each other. That is what the lyrics “And then two weeks in Hawaii, they weren't her style” mean and are a reference to. He bought a Benz automobile and a villa house. But they weren't her style. He had to work for the installments and the leasing contract was 16 hours a day.
Just a year later, he stalked her and found her with someone else. She said, "Well, you were never there for me I'm only a woman." It wouldn't be worth threatening her with divorce. He would regret that. She would have a lawyer who would otherwise sue mercilessly for alimony. So he just said, “Take the dog. Keep the house. You get the property and the Benz. I give up. Take the coffee service. The credit cards too. Because everything a man really needs is his rest.”
So the man calls his friend, He said, "Hey, man. Do you need help moving?" He laughed, "Oh come on, not for the one box But you're welcome to come by." He said, "Come in. Make yourself at home. I love this apartment."
She only has one room and it's not very big either. But for him, it's a castle. She took the dog. She now owns the house. She gets the property and the Benz. In addition the coffee service and the credit cards too. The man never needed any of that. Because everything a man really needs is his rest. His calm.
Boutique is about the disagreements Roger and his girlfriend have about fashion. The two bicker about preferences and choices about fashion. He promised to go shopping with her and now she's trying to test him and his fashion sense with jackets and waistcoats that certainly don't suit her. This leads to the two to argue and bicker.
Roger was out with his girlfriend a few weeks ago. He promised to go shopping with her and now she's trying to test him with jackets and waistcoats that certainly don't suit her. She is trying to test his fashion sense. Here are some examples. If Roger says, "I think it's good." She turns red with anger. He’s not that stupid. In the beginning she feigns at the sight and sound of criticism. It's not until the 7th that she calls out: "Schick!" That's how his girlfriend stays credible.
How does Roger get out of the boutique without a war? How does Roger get out of this store without harm? How does Roger get out of the boutique without a war? How does Roger get out of this department store without Zoff?
These are the questions Roger wonders inside of his own thoughts. How do I get out of the boutique without a war? How do I get out of this store without harm? How do I get out of the boutique without a war? How do I get out of this department store without Zoff?
Instead Roger is sticking to the point and makes an interested face to that he is interested. Roger thinks she's made up her mind now. He believes that his girlfriend is totally infatuated with some silly nothing.
He doesn't think to look at the price because she will know right away otherwise. Otherwise she will react stubbornly. She will try on a hundred things of clothing. And they stay there for an extremely long time. What's going on with his girlfriend? Now they are at the quick checkout with the things they purchased. "Is that what was hanging back there?" The seller shouts loudly. "A customer ordered this. It's no longer manufactured either. I've already checked."
Zu schön um nett zu sein (Too beautiful to be nice) was about this model named Kristin who later became a model that was too beautiful to be nice. Her looks were deceiving. She was too much of everything because of her ego.
Her name was Kristin and she later became a model. A lot of people just thought Roger was such an idiot until she saw Kristin in his arms. Kristin was the type everyone looks at. And all the buddies were impressed when Roger came to the party with her. Everyone thought that Roger was lucky. But nothing happened between her and me at the most though.
She was too beautiful to be nice. Too fine to be good in bed. She was too slim to go out to eat. Too chic to watch TV. She was too mature to tell shit. Too high on horseback to steal horses. She was too pretty to have fun. And everyone dug into her. Even her mother was not without. Even her own mother gave her condoms just in case something goes wrong. But apart from holding hands a bit out at her old woman's cottage, they didn't experience anything basically.
Kristin was too mature to tell shit as she didn't make stories. So Roger made some up. He told everyone how Kristin was too beautiful to be nice and that she was too fine to be good in bed. Yet they pierced Roger with questions over and over again.
Internet Single Börse (Internet single market) is a swing song about online dating. Some modern and relevant to the millennial crowd. In the internet single market, are they all rich and beautiful? That is the question.
She likes to chat. Her alias is "Maybrit". Her motto is "Angelina is looking for Brat Pitt". She dances and sings professionally. She also likes to pose as a nude model according to the photo. According to the photo, it's a sweet thing.
He, on the other hand, calls himself "Mr. Big". He makes in oil and lives with a sea view. This man sports toned washboard abs and he also has a Ferrari. The Rolex is easy to see on the wrist.
In the internet single market, are they all rich and beautiful? This is an online phenomenon You'll only be 29 at the most. You have a thousand cool hobbies. Are all sporty and on a diet? The bubble bursts on the first date. In the internet single market, are they all rich and beautiful? That is the question. Do people live the same lives as their online personas do?
A small fat woman enters the room. The profile name says "Maybrit". He hardly believes it. Her voice squeaks and her legs crooked. He is surprised. She fusses. "Put my sister's photo in." He laughs. Then he tells "Maybrit", "I admit it, my Ferrari is from Revell. I don't live in the Grand Hotel on Sylt either." "With Mama" wouldn't have sounded good. Then he tells her, "I'm not that young anymore either. But at least I used to be. I swear!" He says, "But I really do jog regularly." She laughs, "Like me, of course. Once a year."

Roger Cicero - In Diesem Moment album review
Roger Cicero - In Diesem Moment is one of the more darker and livelier German swing jazz albums from Germany. This album of his uses more of a big band jazz sound performed by a band. Not much of that freeform jazz used on this album as is the case with his previous albums. Half of the album is love songs and the other half is a slice of life. For example, the album has most motivational inspirational songs such as Eine Reise, Alles kommt zurück, Einfach mal, and Keine halben Sachen.
Roger explains how life is like a journey on his song called Eine Reise (A Journey). Eine Reise is one of his most motivational inspirational songs which help people get through the journey of life.
Roger is on his way to places that pass so quickly which are indescribable with words. You have to see them yourself. The sun is just rising and takes him a bit with it. Because he needs the distance. And he’s far away too. His home is always in the luggage. He is constantly traveling. Life is like a journey and nobody knows where it ends.
These motivational inspirational lyrics explain and help people get through the journey of life. “Life is like a journey/The shortest way to yourself/Sometimes goes all around the world”, “The shortest way to yourselfSometimes goes all around the world”, and “The goal is the moment”.
Life is like a journey. The shortest way to yourself sometimes goes all around the world. The goal is the moment. You just have to keep going even if you don't know the direction. Sometimes even to the moon depending where you last saw yourself. That keeps Roger in suspense. Roger is on his way through life. With every new step he discovers more and more.
Keine halben Sachen (No Half Measures) explained how Roger will stay motivated and not take any short cuts in life. He will do anything necessary to accomplish his goals. This is another one of his motivational inspirational songs on the album. If you really want it, you can do it. Progress makes a difference. That is the message of this song.
The next one here will be Roger’s last cigarette. He plans to quit smoking. He exercises more by biking which is him riding his bicycle. He executes 100 push-ups every morning. Also he plans eating healthier by changing his diet. He eats more salad and no chocolate. Roger only buys groceries with an organic seal.
No more half measures and no more hypocrisy. Roger will no longer put something off until tomorrow. He became a whole new man. From now on everything will be better. OK is not enough. If you really want it, you can do it. Progress makes a difference. No more hypocrisy.

MINSEO (민서) - 2cm EP EP review
MINSEO (민서) - 2cm EP is one of the lesser known jazz singles from the Korean Peninsula (particularly South Korea) that has gotten overlooked and overshadowed. These songs are sensual love songs with real feelings and emotions. Is Who and 멋진 꿈 (The Grand Dreams) are the highlights of the EP. The 2cm EP was released on March 6, 2018.
Is Who is about MINSEO needing some who will be her first love that will wipe away her tears. Giving others is more regrettable. She is just too good to curse. To be truthful, it's a little annoying. But something is missing a bit.
The Grand Dreams is about the wonderful grand dreams MINSEO has been having in her sleep. The song is beautiful like a fairy tale. MINSEO had such a wonderful dream but she can't tell anyone. She has seen it since that day. Only one space between her and the man she loves. It's empty but the space that blocks her. There are many meanings in this strange gap. She can't see. She tries to get over it. She hope there are no cloudy days in front of the two of them. It may not be just her imagination.
