Mixerr Album Reviews #274

This is Michael Mixerr. Today I will review Alize – Walkin In The Rain. This album came out in 2007 on Black Sunshine Ent. From Flint, Michigan.

If you’re looking for some of that Hood R&B/Soul type of music, then this is the right album for you! It’s very underground. Alize shines while she showcases her true lyrical skills on thin album.

Giving Him Up is about unfaithful men who cheat on their girlfriends with other women. Alize agrees that those men need to go. If she had magic, she could make them disappear. She makes it crystal clear that there is no fooling around. Go On is in a similar mood to Ta Da by Lil Mo. That’s what I like about this song.

Look no further! When you’re in the zone with Alize, it’s a party! Think YG and G-Mo.
Beauty & Beast is an R&B love song. So is Could It Be. Sun Don’t Shine is where Alize showcases her lyrical skills. Go On and Hello are about unfaithful men who cheat on their girlfriends with other women.

I rate this album, Walkin In The Rain, 4/5****.
