This is Michael Mixerr. Today I will review Eminem - Recovery. I'll keep this one short due to time constraints on my other album reviews.
A lot of hardcore underground Eminem fans thought that Eminem sold out after the MMLP album came out in 2000. That's the case with Recovery. Well I think Eminem did a splendid job on his return to rap on Recovery in 2010. He's back to his original self. So what if he's changed? People change. So does their humor. Eminem is "back to his 4/5**** star" self!
Eminem showed his pop rap roots rather than his underground rap roots on Infinite on Web Entertainment. He went mainstream on this album rather than adding rock samples to Recovery as did on his earlier 00s albums. Let me put it that way.
I rate this album, Recovery, 4/5****!!
