Mixerr Album Reviews #781

This is Michael Mixerr. Today I will review Jes Latino - El Tejanero.

The El Tejanero album has a bit of Tex-Mex flavor to it with such track titles as Dominando, Los Patrones, Tira Las Manos, Mi Gente, La Salida, and of course Mami Chulas. In fact, San Antonio rapper Jes Latino raps in Spanish throughout half of the entire album. That's how Jes Latino stands out. Texas Rap with words spoken in the Spanish language of Mexico is what describes the Tex-Mex flavor for this particular album.

Dominando is an example of Latin Rap at its finest. Fast raps spoken completely in Spanish over southern rap beats. In fact, San Antonio rapper Jes Latino raps throughout the entire track in Spanish. Dominando is the track that stands out the most on the El Tejanero album.

Club music meets southern rap on Tira Las Manos. The southern rap element is very prevalent on Tira Las Manos with the electro synths over the beats. This track is filled with greatness.

Mami Chulas is dedicated to all the chicas all over the world. Another rap track with the club music element.

Jes Latino is one of the many overlooked and underrated Hispanic rappers from the US State of Texas such as Lucky Luciano, ITZ Garza, Lil Bing, Grimm, Chuy Loko, Fade Dogg, Kool Whip, Capone, and Juan Gotti along with many others.

I rate this album, El Tejanero, 5/5*****!
