On the date of March 2016, a Burger King restaurant located in Austin, Texas had caught on fire. A fryer caught on fire which had lead to $140,000 dollars worth of damage. The roof has collapsed on the inside from the fire damage that occurred. This building is literally falling apart into pieces. Bricks from building structure are decaying. Other exact details as to what led to this incident are currently unclear. However the effects of the aftermath are absolutely devastating. Fires in restaurants are started by electrical appliances or some cooking device of some sort. Sometimes these fires are never able to be predicted as to when it could happen.
Some citizens and Austinites claimed the Burger King restaurant was set on fire by an arsonist. However that is not the particular case. One reason why this Burger King restaurant had caught on fire is because of an electronic failure and faulty wiring. Faulty wiring was the main cause for this devastating fire.
As of February 13, 2017, the former Burger King restaurant in Austin has been demolished. Pipes that provided structural support are being dug up during the final stage of demolition. Structure parts of the building for this restaurant are being hauled away in green dumpsters right outside the restaurant. Groundwork is still being done at this present time.
