Mixerr Album Reviews #1,462

This is Michael Mixerr. For noon I will review Borusiade / The Sixteen Steps ‎– Promises And Infatuation for a single review.

Borusiade / The Sixteen Steps ‎– Promises And Infatuation was released on the Baton Rouge, Louisiana based label Cititrax in 2017. Techno meets the industrial synthwave sound of electronic music. It’s the industrial sound of electronic music that sets this record apart from other releases in techno music scene. It’s a techno electronic mashup.

Borusiade / The Sixteen Steps ‎– Promises And Infatuation was pressed on Limited Edition 12” vinyl which plays at 45 RPM. Only 500 copies were pressed on translucent black vinyl. If the matrix runs are as follows for your copy of this vinyl, then your vinyl is a legit copy and not a bootleg.:

Matrix / Runout (Side A runout - stamped): 157266M1/B LICKING ON MY LIPS
Matrix / Runout (Side B runout - stamped): 157266M2/A GRABBING ON MY HIPS

Infatuation by Borusiade is something similar to what you would expect to hear from Daft Punk due to its electronic sound. A gritty guitar can be heard playing a single note at 1|8 time over distorted musical notes from a synth keyboard. Notes at 1|8 warp over quickly to 3|8 time.

Promises On The Run by The Sixteen Steps a percussion ridden song over quirky electronic music. The beats play at 3|8 time at 45RPM. Promises On The Run has a dark cinematic feel.

I rate this single, Promises And Infatuation, 5/5*****!!
