The LAX Dunes is a five star spot located a stones throw away from LAX (Los Angeles International Airport) and Playa Del Ray Beach. Despite the fencing around it, you can watch the planes, watch the sunset, or look at the ocean. LAX Dunes are home to wildlife such as the burrowing owl, the endangered El Segundo Blue butterfly, and legless lizards along with countless other species. Residents describe LAX Dunes as “a bit of greenery near the airport”. The area is perfect to walk the dogs.
