Red Carpet Motel is one of Oak Hill’s motels that have been long forgotten next to Western Hills Motel, No Tell Motel, and Heart of Texas Motel. Red Carpet Motel is one of the long forgotten motels of Austin, Texas as well too.

Red Carpet Motel was located next to the Country Grocery and Market at 6850 West Highway 290 at the “Y” in Oak Hill. Both businesses shared the same address. Red Carpet Motel was also located next to the Flea Bitten Motel. Both of these motels were located in Oak Hill’s “red light district”. The Red Carpet Motel was later converted into a laundry mat which was a washeteria. The building was demolished in 2000.
