The Kerri Chandler – Purple Wall EP was one of the slightly instrumental electronic garage house EPs that got overlooked during the rise of electronic music which was growing in the 90s. Kerri Chandler exhibits his raw talent and production on this EP. This time Kerri decided to go in a different musical direction by using a more disco-influenced sound. Obviously Kerri was influenced by disco was he produced the EP. The entire record is excellent!
Disco In Da Ruff uses a rough mixture of electronic, disco, and garage house. The song is an upbeat disco instrumental. Worlds In Fear uses bit of disco influence and tribal beats. The tribal beats comprise the garage house sound on Worlds In Fear. Bongos used on this song are so soothing. Two words to describe this song are soothing and repetitive.
