A series of quadraplexes can be seen up on the hill of O’Connor Road. This apartment complex is none other than the O’Connor SBMH Apartments. What the mysterious structures are up on a hill of O’Connor Road in Live Oak, Texas are what were supposed to be apartment complexes that are actually quadraplexes. These quadraplexes were supposed to be apartments. However the landowner and developer skipped town and did not pay the construction company that built these apartment complexes.
Only 3 of these quadraplexes were completed out of the 6 that were supposed to be built. The other 2 quadraplexes were never completed because the construction company had not been compensated for their work and materials. The construction company filed liens against O’Connor SBMH Apartments.
