The whole single has a great tribal sound. Instrumentation for the beats come from indigenous drums and Afrocentric drums. This single is a contrast reflection compared to their earlier work.
Hopes & Dreams uses a more techno influenced sound than a tribal house sound despite the tribal house sound being used in this song. Hopes & Dreams is not as strong as the song on the flip side which is Voodoo Drums. The song still serves as a good opener.
Voodoo Drums uses beats from indigenous drums and Afrocentric drums. Although thee song relies heavily on Afrocentric drums. That is why you hear bongos.The beat goes up when the bass kicks in. Voodoo Drums is a representation of great tribal sound coming from Portugal. The song is excelente! Voodoo Drums is still one of the strongest tribal tracks ever to have come from Portugal.
