MC Hyst - SAC-A-DA-INDO is quite similar to Brotha Lynch Hung - Loaded due to the references of marijuana and related nature. The album has that classic Siccmade sound with eerie synths, ultra thick heavy bass, ultra thick synths, tight gangsta lyrics, and horrorcore sound. You can go wrong with production from Siccmade Muzicc. Overall the beats are sicc. The album is perfect to smoke marijuana to and get high. The album has a super laid back chill vibe hence the marijuana references. Marijuana themed songs titles include the highly addictive They Blame Chronic, the smoking hot classic SAC-A-DA-INDO, and the sicc Homesiic. You also have the old school hits such as Try'n 2 Stack A Mill, No Clues 2 Know Whereabouts, and Well I Was.
SAC-A-DA-INDO was released out the trunk old school style instead of having any national distribution back in 2007 on CD. SAC-A-DA-INDO is also known and referred to as the Hystables album. This is one of the dope rare rap albums from Sacramento, California that got overshadowed unfortunately. This album is long out of print but is available on YouTube.
They Blame Chronic is about how addictive marijuana can be. The song also explore the dangers to addiction of marijuana.
A big time banger has anger issues because of his wife. The anger comes from his wife and is aimed at her. One night he decided he wasn’t coming home. He wanted to get high after work. So he got hight with a female clerk who was a flirt. They thought weed would enhance their night. He foreshadows on a vision of children without their father. But he is too high to know that it’s a sign for him to come home to a wife in bed. As long as the chronic weed is on his mind.
It’s the same scene next Friday. He’s up in the clerk’s jeans all for some of that green weed. He’s giving on his dreams of having a family and given up on his family. Now he’s just another rich fiend not believing he caught up in the mix and midst of drugs. His wife took the kids. Now he is paying for the child support checks. Checks are coming up short by hundreds of dollars. All because he wants to smoke weed. His addiction to weed became dangerous and uncontrollable.
Marijuana is tearing up their way of life and his way of life. People blame the chronic for ruining his life even though it him that was responsible for ruining his life.
Homesiic uses that unique Siccmade sound and style with the beats and piano. You can tell that the production team worked real hard on this song. Homesiic is some real gangsta shit which deals with paranoia and institutionalization.
It’s midnight and MC Hyst is squeezing the trigger tightly. He is sweaty. So he takes a drink of liquor. Murder is something he sees in his dreams. It seems that MC Hyst is living a life full of stress. He hits the dank weed to ease the painfulness in his life. Pebble kush is what he smokes.
He wonders what he can do and where he can go. Visions of murder and dead bodies on the floor are what he sees. Because it’s criminal activity is spreading through the city of Sacramento, California. Still, he hears footsteps and voices from his window. What’s going? MC Hyst doesn’t know and he’s feeling frightened. Every single night, he sleeps with the chrome steel Winchester. Paranoid as fuck because he has the mind of a lunatic. He’s feeling sick to the point of no return.
Now he is out in a pitch black hall outside of his room. His mind is wondering. His mind just went boom. The California mental health code 5150 got him to where he won’t be out for a while. A vision of murder is locked in his brain. This is one of the reasons why he is institutionalized. His folks couldn’t give a fuck less if he could maintain. The walls are melting. His brains feels like it’s on acid. Of course he is loosing his mind again as he drifts to this other world he lives in. Can’t nobody feel him. You can’t understand if he can’t explain.
He wakes up with a puzzled face. He fucked up good. Locked away in an institution, MC Hyst is sick from that sickness.
It’ the sac a da indo, bitch, on the song SAC-A-DA-INDO. The chorus to SAC-A-DA-INDO is hella dope. It’s that Sac-a-da Indo, Criminalfonia state of mind here. MC Hyst gets high in the studio and writes rap lyrics to his songs.
5-0 never knew how to locate MC Hyst whether the criminals rise or the weather is nice west on Antelope Road. MC Hyst gets high out of his mind. The dank weed make him see more than what he believed in some time. He hasn’t done that for some time. His mind is fucking with him. So he takes his indo. T-Roy is locked down for selling drugs. That does not stop him from smoking weed though.
He just paged Nate. Nate is the person who will bring a pound of weed through. This will get MC Hyst high enough to write his album for the rest of the month. He realizes he should be in college but instead chose to be a rapper. Skills and lyrics are what he has.
Now there is a slightly different version of SAC-A-DA-INDO with MC Hyst, Mr. Doctor, and Brotha Lynch Hung that never got released. MC Hyst’s version was his tribute to that song. MC Hyst and Brotha Lynch Hung recorded a lot of songs that were never released and probably never will be. Now most people do not know this but MC Hyst thought slightly different version of SAC-A-DA-INDO was tight.
Well I Was explores what type of person MC Hyst was in his past. Hystables was rippin it up on this song. The song has that West Coast style with a much darker sound blended in. The beats have that West Coast sound too. Siccmade beats are sicc. Those that love the old Sac sound will love Well I Was.
Now the song Well I Was was always one of his favorites because my brother Mike W was locked down for years. He got out, straightened up his life, hooked up with MC Hyst, and dropped this bomb ass song.
He hit the ignition to start up his Sedan. His mom started bitching about longtime friends gathering together to relax and just be kicking it. She knew they would be into some dirt in a flash. MC Hyst tells stories of his life. He’s got love for the Lichen Boyz Posse on Lichen Drive. MC Hyst was a little ass young g and was one of your worst enemies.
The chords sample on Get Up and Get Something is what stands out. The chords sample used on Get Up and Get Something is from a Macy Gray song. MC Hyst took a different approach in terms of sampling because not too many Sacramento rappers sample Macy Gray songs. Now the chorus is hella sicc too. This shit just goes hard.
You can tell Phonk Beta had a hand in producing beats for this song by listening to it. Phonk Beta produced the beats for Try'n Stack a Mill. Now the beat samples an MC Eiht beat.Originally the song had a hook but MC Hyst thought the beat was just one of those MC Eiht beats where you just have nothing for the hook. He wanted to have sampled Phonk Beta’s beats but that did not end up happening however.
I rate this album 5/5*****!
