A dam for the former McKinney Mill called McKinney Mill Dam is still channeling water from Costley Spring into the Colorado River after years of being inactive as of 2021. The dam is still extant despite years of no renovation. There are several cracks in the bottom foundation and top layer. The historic McKinney Mill Dam is now abandoned. Mill walls have collapsed yet the dam is still intact. McKinney Mill Dam is located at 2903 Ellon Road, Del Valle, Texas, US 78617.
