Exploring more of Twin Creeks Trail Cave in Cedar Park, Texas.

Twin Creeks Trail Cave is one of the lesser known caves of Cedar Park, Texas that only few know about or are even aware of. This news article will explain the nature and what specific plants grow inside of this cave.

Twin Creeks Trail Cave is a cave located within the boundaries of Twin Creeks Historic Park and a golf course belonging to Twin Creeks Country Club. Diameter of this cave is 30 feet in width and 9 feet in height. This cave is entirely hollow.

Fern grows mostly on the eastern portion of this cave. Moss is scattered in various parts of this cave. Moss can be discovered mostly at the bottom as you travel deeper inside of this cave. There is also a tall tree growing in the center of this cave right on the outside edge. Moss grows mostly on the center portion of this cave. This cave is entirely hollow with only plants growing inside. Fern and moss can be found growing inside of this cave. Outside perimeter is surrounded by many oak trees and cedar breaks.

What is interesting and unique about the cave is there is a tall oak tree growing outside the center of this cave on the outside ledge. This tall oak tree is quite large. A bed of rocks and boulders can be found beneath and above the surface.

Unfortunately there have been signs of vandalism such as graffiti and illegal dumping inside of this cave. Mostly graffiti. There was a prom held in side of this cave in 2012 and 2013 as indicated from the graffiti everywhere. There have been some proms held inside of Twin Creeks Trail Cave over the years.
