Post Oak Bend School was established in School District No. 1 in 1870 with Travis Peak School on Post Oak Bend Road in Marble Falls, Texas. Post Oak Bend School was part of the Travis Peak School District. Post Oak Bend School was a single story log cabin constructed using logs out of oak trees. All of the school was constructed using oak. H. L. Hensel was the trustee for Post Oak Bend School during the early years.
