Ol Skool Danni B - Satanical Values (digital edition) is a solid West Coast classic with that old school rap sound and blended funk. The guitar riffs are what make this album funky and groovy. This album will put your mind into a cloudy haze because of that. The best songs are The Highway, Ride Or Die Together, The Funk Gets Stronger, Northtown, and Danni B In Da Place 2 Be. Those are some of the highlights. Satanical Values is a solid West Coast classic.
The Freeway incorporated rap, soul, and funk in one recording. This song will soothe your ears and soul. The song is perfect to unwind down to on a weekend after an extremely difficult week of work. Yet this is one sexy song. A funky guitar and piano is what makes this song so subtle and calming. This is a good song off of his album.
Ride Or Die Together is about sharing a love together through the good times and bad times. This is another good song off his album. However the song is a bit short and could have been longer.
The song Northtown features longtime Las Vegas rap heavyweight Pit of Doomsday Productions. Northtown uses a mixture of rap and funk. Northtown is dedicated to the North Side of Las Vegas, Nevada. Danni B and Pit did a good job of rapping on this song.
Blow It For The Sky is a song dedicated to all the weed smokers out there. This song is for the weed lovers out there. You know what I’m talking about. Chopped and screwed is incorporated into trap music on this song.
Ol Skool Danni B was influenced by the Art of Noise when he recorded Danni B In Da Place 2 Be. The song has that early 80s electronic sound with a Memphis rap styled flow. Electronic music meets Memphis rap on Danni B In Da Place 2 Be.
I rate this album 4/5****!
