Griesenbeck Hotel property was located on what was among the most valuable undeveloped real estate in Lockhart in the 20th century. Adams & Lyles of Lockhart purchased Griesenbeck Hotel and surrounding property in 1930. Property John N. “The Griesenbeck Hotel property is among the most valuable undeveloped veal estate in Lockhart. It is a large lot in a prominent place near the business section and is attractive for any kind of an enterprise starting here or one relocating. Adams and Lyles are active in the oil business but have not announced their intentions with regard to the lot.”
