Industrial Market was constructed and opened in the Oak Park neighborhood on the North Side of Flint in 1917. Here Industrial Market was a grocery store, construction equipment provider, metal manufacturer, and a metal supply hardware store. Industrial Market once primarily shifted their focus on just operating as a grocery store sometime during the 20th century.

At one point Industrial Market shifted their focus back to being a metal supply hardware store, metal manufacturer and construction equipment provider at some point in time during the 20th century. One thing is certain is that Industrial Market dealt with metal throughout the entirety of their operations.  Industrial Market was established and well known throughout Flint during much the 20th century.

Isidor Himelhoch, Julius Himelhoch, Julius Wilson, Morris Henry, and Verna Wiltse were some of his employees. (Ref: https://books.google.com/books?id=iFUXAQAAMAAJ&pg=PA826&lpg=PA826)

Aaron Himelhoch shut down Industrial Market in 1957 when he retired. That is why Industrial Market had dissolved. He had all of his buildings demolished and scrapped immediately. (Ref: https://digital.bentley.umich.edu/djnews/djn.1969.11.14.001/21)
