John R Alagnani established Al’s Trailer Sales Incorporated/Al’s Trailer Sales Inc on the date of July 26, 1968 on Bastrop Highway in Del Valle across Bergstrom Air Force Base. Al’s Trailer Sales Incorporated was plotted and graveled in the year of 1968 on part of the land where Sunscape Apartments once stood across from Bergstrom Gate to Bergstrom Air Force Base (now Austin Bergstrom International Airport). Finley Real Estate owned some of the land where Longhorn Mobile Home Park was plotted out on. Tax forfeiture and failure to file a registration report were the 2 main major factors which lead to the decline of Al’s Trailer Sales Incorporated.

Al’s Trailer Sales Incorporated and National Mobile Parks Inc. sold their properties back to Finley Real Estate in early 1976. So property belonging to Al’s Trailer Sales Incorporated would be incorporated into Finley Real Estate Finley Real Estate would continue to operate Al’s Trailer Sales Incorporated as Longhorn Mobile Home Park until selling the land to California-based partnership called Sunscape Partnership LTD in 1981. A bar called El Tenampa Bar and a motel called Capitol Garden Inn are currently where Al’s Trailer Sales Incorporated once was.


The office for Al’s Trailer Sales Incorporated was turned into a lounge in 1978. The lounge was converted into a restaurant in 1980. The restaurant was converted into a bar in 1981.
