Forshage Cemetery was most likely named after Alevina Forshage. Alevina Forshage was the daughter of German immigrant Christian Heinrich August Forshage. Christian Heinrich August Forshage established Forshage Cemetery on his ranch off Natural Bridge Caverns Road in 1866.
