“The school board is to seek a conference with the city commission Friday to consider the matter of a bond election, and also discuss a site for the proposed new junior high school, Dudley said.”

Abilene Junior High School was absorbed and had merged into Lincoln Junior High School during the 1954-1955 school year in 1955.
