Terrell Hot Sulphur Wells is one of the lesser known hot sul­phurous springs of San Antonio, Texas. This news article will explain what Terrell Hot Sulphur Wells was.

Terrell Hot Sulphur Wells was located off of South Presa Street in the Harlandale neighborhood. Terrell Hot Sulphur Wells off of South Presa Street became a nationally famed resort in the early years of the 20th century, featuring an elegant hotel, a large amusement park, and baths in hot sulphur water. Terrell Hot Sulphur Wells contributed to one of the city's leading industries called tourism by the turn of the 20th century. Visitors and dignitaries came from the Midwest and the East Coast to visit the wells, to stay at the spa, and luxurious hotel. The original bath house near Morrill School at one time housed Sunset Studios, a motion picture studio. The wells at McCollum High School and Morrill School were later capped. Although the wells at both schools were capped, pressure still has a tendency to build up. The gas would build up and spew at intervals.
